Here I have layered some Prima forever green patterned paper onto a stampin Up ( calypso coral) card base, and fussy cut another piece from the same sheet for the greeting. A scrap of lace, and flowers, leaf ( which was white but I sprayed it with some fireworks spray) a fussy cut butterfly ( in the colection of papers there is a whole sheet just of butterflies which I fussy cut out) and bakers twine , all from prima gathered in a group at the bottom of the card. The flowers available from prima for this collection are gorgeous, ad I also bought a box of white leaves and the white daisies you see here because I can colour them to match whatever I am working on. Great value!I touched up the flowers with my Wink of Stella brush for a little sheen.Til tomorrow…

Prima Forever Green number 1..
Nathan and I have had a busy morning taking photos of all my recent makes so I am now ready to go!First up is the new Prima Forever Green series of patterned papers, and assorted matching bits and pieces. The only other company here is Stampin Up with their cardstock, sentiment stamp and ribbon. I have discovered a new toy! It is called Wink of Stella, and looks like a mascara but it has a brush on the end, and you know how I love kindyglitz, stickles.. any kind of shimmery bling.. well this is a more subtle application – it gives a shimmery appearance. you can see here I have used it on the flowers-on the image and the flowers down there in the left hand side. This is now a tool I keep in my absolutely need kit!Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses .. the last..

Here are the last two cards I made in my kaisercraft butterfly kisses collection. I also used the collectables and chipboard pieces from the same collection. The sentiments are stampin up stamps, and the cardstock here is Bazil.I had big plans today to start moving my huge library of books into the large room vacated by my younger son when he moved into his own place,I have already claimed some of it for the craft room annex, but anyway,.. I got sidetracked. well, didn’t even get started because I had a card laid out ready to stick down, and then more ideas came and before I knew it most of the day had disappeared and I have a lovely pile of cards made with my new Prima forever green paper which nathan and I will photo this week so that I can start posting them!Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft butterfly kisses .. a couple more…

A couple more cards made with Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses, and suitable for younger girls. The top card has a sentiment stamped on it using Stampin Up Curly cute stamps, and some little flags punched out with a tiny punch I found on special!(great way to use up tiny scraps). I made some bigger banners ( again more scraps) for the second card. All other embellishments were from the matching collectables. Til tomorrow….
Some more Butterfly Kisses…

Welcome to my new followers, hope you enjoy my creations and they inspire you just a little! Some more kaisercraft butterfly Kisses cards to brighten our day!Again using the paper and chipboard pieces from the collection. The butterflies were fussy cut from one of the papers, and I used some kaisercard for the matting. A lovely relaxing day off today, and I was enjoying some time in the craft room just playimng around with some techniques and new prima papers when the power went off.I like a lot of light when crafting, and have changed the light in the craft room to a strip flourescent light as that gives me the best natural seeming light, so when the power went out that was the end of the crafty session, but the power is back on now so I am off to finish what I have started! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses
I went back though all my older paper to find something suitable for younger girls, and came across Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses ( and matching chipboard pieces). I have an amazing amount of this so i think I have picked up a special or two as well, so I sat down and created quite a few cards from it – here is the first. The plain cardstock which I used for matting is Kaisercard. I can’t remember the name – it had mint in it somewhere, and it perfectly matches the same colour in the paper.Anyway, can’t sit here chatting – I have to get to work …. til tomorrow….
Princess cards – Echo Park patterned paper

In between christmas cards i made some little girl cards last week with a couple of sheets of paper by Echo Park called Princess. I fussy cut the images from one sheet of paper, and made use of the identity strip at the bottom of the sheet by making the princess banner on the top card and using the crown printed one on the bottom card.I added plenty of bling and glitter, and ribbon to finish both cards. well the weekend has flown – I am certainly missing having Mondays off!Til tomorrow….
Embossing folders
These cards came about because I wanted to use the new stampin up cardstock – blackberry bliss and lost lagoon on a card together as I liked the way the colours worked. I also had some very slim embossing folders, probably meant to be used as borders, but here I cut thin white card strips and embossed a different pattern on each one. embellishing with ribon, flowers and buttons followed. I liked the look so much I tried the same sketch but with a christmas theme.Curly Cute stampin up greeting stamps finished all cards . Quick post today as I must get off to work.. til tomorrow…..
3 cards with stampin up Flashback designer paper

The one thing these cards have in common is the designer paper – Stampin Up Flashback.for the first one I followed the pattern and cut my paper in half, stamping the greeting in between the two pieces, ( stampin up Sassy salutions greeting stamp) and addind a splodge of colour with red ink and Stampin up gorgeous grunge. The second one makes good use of my stampin up Honeycomb hello stamp set,and I cut some banners from the paper. the third card was an experiment using up the bits of paper leftover from the other two cards, punched hexagons, stuck them on the cardstock and ran it through the big shot with my stampin up hexagon embossing folder. Today is my new day off, so have done the weekly shop and I am off to have a well needed hair cut! Til tomorrow….
Another stamped and watercoloured….
This one isn’t as dark in real life – the blue of the card and die cut oval ( spellbinders floral oval) is a denim blue… not sure what happened there nathan the photographer must have been having a bad day! Again the stamped image is from a freebie stamp set on the front of a magazine, and I watercoloured it with Tim holtz distrss markers and an aqua brush.leaves are punched with a martha stewart punch and the flowers are mini flowers by Kaisercraft. The patterned paper of the background is forget-me-not by kaisercraft.this weekend has been spent finishing off my October lessons, and making some vintage christmas cards.I start my new department and new hours this week at work, so will have to see when I fit my blog posts in – it might be easier to do them in the mornings before work now, so we shall see what works. til tomorow…..
