A little while ago I bought a 6″ pad from Kaisercraft – Blast Off, and just one sheet of the 12 x 12 papers from the same range. The 12 x 12 sheet had lots of images perfect for fussy cutting, and so over the next day or so I will show what I have made with them so far. This is the first, a few of the fussy cut images, and I added some googly eyes to them. The cardstock and sentiment stamp is from Stampin up.Today nathan and I filmed my youtube video, Nathan is just adding the titles and card measurements, and it should be up tomorrow! This afternoon I have been working on decorating a decorative birdcage for my dads birthday, so a good day creating despite the heat! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 double easel card – and side view

Graphic 45 couture collection paper, and lots of fussy cutting! I have included a side view so that you can see how I constructed my double easel card. This paper lends itself wonderfully to easel cards because there are so many elements to fussy cut out, without needing to add flowers, ribbon or bling. the paper is really enough on its own. I have come to the end of this series, so tomorrow we will have a look at something different! very hot here today, so I only ventured into the craft room for a short while – the first time I have been in there in quite a few days, and had a play with some of my new paper, but the heat has driven me back to my comfy chair under the air conditioning vent!Til tomorrow….
Graphi8c 45 couture collection – double easel cards
I am back from my little mini break to Perth, and we had a lovely time – a very quick visit, but we managed to squeeze in a lot of sightseeing, and a bit of relaxing too!todays cards uses graphic 45 couture collection paper collection, and I have done a lot of fussy cutting for these ones. The style of card is what I wanted to show you all – I am calling it a double easel card, with the second easel a fair bit smaller than the main easel – I am going to do a youtube video with this style so that you can all see how to do it and the measurements will be on the video – I always learn better by seeing it done – much easier than just reading I think. In my class at paper flourish this friday we are doing cards very similar to this and I can’t wait to do them! til tomorrow….

Kazzazz train stamp
keeping with the male themed stamped cards, tonights cards use a stamp I purchased from Kazzazz.I used stampin up cardstock – cherry cobbler, crumbcake and not quite navy, and the little bit of patterned paper is Prima Craftsman. The card on the right makes use of the negative cardstock left over after I had die cut the labels on the left card. ( dies are from stampin up – sizzix decorative labels.) I just had to add a little bakers twine and prima trim to finish these ones! til tomorrow….
