Three cards today, all made with Bo bunny You’re Invited paper collection and matching collectables.I made good use of my gold twine, which was purchased for xmasd cards but has found it’s way to most of the cards I have made lately ( love using it!)and sequins, and the bottom card has a stamped bird crazy stamp by Tim holtz, because I love them too – they make me smile!A day off today, how lucky that I got xmas eve off, and so Nathan and I were over at the shops super early ( about 7am) to do our grocery and fruit and veg shopping to beat the last minute shoppers, and that worked a treat. It is now only mid morning and all my chores for the day are done.I wish you all a safe and merry Christmas, fun with loved ones, and I will see you all back here in a day or so! Happy holidays, Love helen x

Bo bunny Madeleleine 3 and a conversation about scissors
Bo Bunny madeleine collection, fussy cut bird detail and some strategically placed ribbon bows and lace!. I was asked an interesting question today by a blog visitor, and I thought I would take some time to answer and add some tips as well. I use Fiskars scissors when I am fussy cutting – not your normal fingers through the holes type scissors though, I use the squeeze type, mainly because I don’t get tennis elbow with these type of scissors. I was suffering badly from tennis elbow with the amount of fussy cutting I do when I used the normal style scissors. My scissors are not cheap, but I am only on my second pair in over ten years of fussy cutting, so value for money I think. Other scissor related facts – I have my one pair for fussy cutting, I have a pair of surgical scissors( very sharp) for ribbon, lace and material, and a pair of very cheap normal scissors for cutting anything sticky. other cutting tools… my fiskars trimmer which has been with me from the very beginning is in my take everywhere craft bag, and my stampin up trimmer and making Memeories rotary trimmer are on my desk in the craft room. The rotary trimmer is for cutting my cardstock as I make all my own card bases and I have had it for about 7 years now and never had to replace a blade, and the stampin up trimmer is for everything else. I like it because I can also score on it and it has handy measurements on it which almost makes my ruler redundant! hope this helps … til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny madeleine 2.
For this one I rounded all my corners, inked all my edges and fussy cut one fo the frames from a piece of the paper from the Bo Bunny Madeleleine collection as well as the bird cage and bird. I ran a piece of lace around the bottom of the card and tied a ribbon into a bow for the top of the cage. all good intentions to spend the evening in the card room while everyone is out tonight, but it is really cold through there so it might be an evening in front of the tv and heater! til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny madeleine 1.
Todays card is made with Bo Bunny Madeleine paper. I love the soft colours of this paper, and here I have done a bit of fussy cutting and layering and added some lovely satin ribbon a pearls to finish. recently in the craft room I have been gathering my Christmas supplies to make a start on Christmas cards, but it must be too early even for me because I just keep procrastinating and I haven’t achieved anything. I will give it one last go this weekend and if there is no results i will leave it for another month! Til tomorrow….
the very special last Bo Bunny Garden journal card….

This is the last two Bo Bunny garden Journal cards I have made – No doubt there will be more at some time, but todays cards are the last for now. The blue one uses a kaisercraft dres form die ( I love it) and the bottom one is an experiment in shabby chic style, so lots of ripping of paper ( so hard for me to do) and distressing and inking, mixed with lace, tulle, ribbon and bling. I made a matching box to fit it into.Today is a great day..i finally have a day where I can spend a great amount of time in the craft room, and just as well as it’s only 4 weeks until my 3 day craft fair, so it’s all about making enough cards to sell!Til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny Garden journal 6,7 and 8

I taught a lesson with this paper this morning ( bo bunny Garden Journal) and we all agreed it is a gorgeous paper collection. On all three cards I have really just relied on the paper, and fussy cutting. with the addition of lace, ribbon, some flowers, and the big prima flower on the bottom card these cards are great fun to create! Til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny Garden Journal number 5
there was going to be two cards today, but the computer has something against uploading my photos, I am blaming the weather,it’s been very stormy today, hopefully tomorrow it behaves itself! So, todays card is Bo Bunny garden journal papers, with some assorted flowers, punched leaves, and a bit of bling. I inked all the edges with tea dye distress ink. Til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny Garden Journal 3 and 4…

Two more cards made with Bo Bunny Garden Journal paper collection, and these ones have a distinct vintage style. Loved using lace, pleated ribbon ( stampin up) assorted flowers and some punched leaves and border trims on these ones. The dress form is a kaisercraft die,and I inked around all my edges with tea dye distress ink.Today will be a day of finishing off projects on my craft table I think, as long as I don’t get too disracted! til tomorrow…..
Bo Bunny garden Journal number 2..
Bo Bunny garden Journal 12 x 12 papers, with three layers of layering, the second layer punched along the bottom with a Martha stewart lace doily punch, and just a bit of lace, a ribbon bow and a butterfly die cut from a piece of vellum added to the top!I inked around all my edges with Tea Dye distress ink.I have been experimenting again in the craft room today, this time using my pencil and ruler to come up with some one sheet wonder ideas for a forthcoming class. After tea I will head back in there to see if my plan works!Til tomorrow….
Bo Bunny garden Journal 1.
I have left the Simple stories I Am series for now ( we are only halfway through, but time for a change of pace) And todays card is made with the new Bo Bunny collection, which is nature inspired and right up my alley!I used Stampin Up cardstock , and did a little layering and fussy cutting. I hand rolled the flower, and die cut the leaf flourish with a kaisercraft die. Some inking around some of the layers for definition.day off today, so i had my flu shot – hopefully all protected for this year! Yesterday I had a cortisone injection in my hip, which was most painful – don’t believe anyone who says it isn’t!But on th upside I can feel the benefit already, so hopefully that’s me finished with medical appointments for a while. Off to the craft room for some relaxing time..til tomorrow….
