Kaisercraft Cottage Rose number 7…

IMG_0602 (Medium)I am enjoying this collection of paper because I have been able to make quite a range of cards with it, wedding, anniversary, engagement, sympathy and now birthday.Todays card uses the 6″ pad only, and a few embellishments – green tara and kaisercraft flower, leaves die cut from the kaisercraft mini foilage die ( love this die – its  a plate, and die cuts quite a few different leaves all in one go – great for die cutting scraps and keeping them on my desk for times when I need them)some stampin up gold twine, liquid pearls and a butterfly punched from my tim Holtz butterfly punch. The sentiments were also in the paper pad! Today is a good day…I have done the cooking I wanted to do in preparation for next week, the sun is shining after a very wet week – not that we ever complain when we get rain, my washing is drying on the line, and I am ready to spend some quality time in the craft room! life is good!! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Cottage Rose 5 and 6…

IMG_0599 (Medium)IMG_0601 (Medium)The cards today are still in my Kaisercraft cottage rose series, this time a thinking of you card, and a birthday card.I kept the thinking of you card very simple, with just a punched butterfly and ribbon bow. the papers on both cards are from the 6″ pad in the collection, and the sentiments are also from the pad.For the birthday card I added some lace and ribbon, liquid pearls and another punched butterfly using my Tim holtz butterfly punch. I have done a marathon grocery shop today, I am working full time hours next week for stocktake, so I am planning to cook a lot of meals on the weekend to save some time during the week! In the meantime, if I miss a couple of posts next week you will all know why! til tomorrow…

Kaisercraft Cottage rose number 4….

IMG_0597 (Medium)I love this paper from the cottage rose range, and have an idea to use some of it to make a card shaped like a purse when I have it out next. In the meantime I have made and anniversary card, added a die cut sentiment, collectable heart, and prima and green tara flowers. I used some liquid pearls on the paper to highlight the quilted effect. These cards are all ear marked for the craft fair, which is only a couple of weeks away now, i can’t wait! love catching up with ladies who visit me from year to year, and of course checking out all the other craft stalls! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft cottage Rose number 3

IMG_0596 (Medium)Todays card is and engagement card, using all the same bits and pieces as yesterday card, including kaisercraft Cottage Rose paper ( 6″ pad this time) , collectables, and occassions die. I also die cut a couple of hearts with some silver cardstock from stampin up. Quick post today as my roast is ready as we speak, and then into the craft room – I have finally caught up with orders so today is freestylin’! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft cottage Rose number 2

IMG_0595 (Medium)Today we start a series of cards that I made with kaisercraft cottage Rose paper collection and matching collectables. This first one is a wedding card – I used a kaisercraft die for the sentiment and die cut it from stampin up silver cardstock.( this set of kaisercraft dies are brilliant – they have anniversary, engagement, birthday and congratulations all in the one set – brilliant value). The flowers are green tara and prima, and the silver thread is stampin up. I punched the leaves with my martha stewart leaf punch. This one is a favourite of mine! I was hoping to get into the craft room and make some more cards for my boxes, but I have a few orders to do, and I am picking up my new stampin up catalogue from my sister today, so will probably spend my spare time studying it and making an extensive wish list! Til tomorrow….

Final 2 mens cards for now…

IMG_6286 (Medium)IMG_6288 (Medium)Well. That was a very quick Mens card series! Truth is I got distracted with pretty paper for Mothers day cards, but I will have to make an effort and make some more before my craft fair in June. After I have finished playing with the new Kaisercraft mermaids tail papers. have you all seen that collection yet? the colours are amazing!Anyway, on to todays cards, made with kaisercraft garage days paper. the top card is very simple, I cut an image from one of the 12 x 12 papers, and layered. The strip at the bottom is from the identity strip that you find on the bottom of your 12 x 12 papers. The bottom card still uses the kaisercraft garage days papers, and I stamped a Kaszazz pocket stamp on to some of the denim paper and fussy cut it out. Spellbinders cogs dies die cut from silver card in the bottom right corner. Stamped tools with my stampin Up tools  set stamp, and tucked them into the pocket. Today Mum and I are off to visit my sister who is still bedridden after her ankle operation, thankfully she only has a couple of weeks left confined to bed then she has to start some physiotherapy to get all the muscles working again.Til tomorrow…

more mothers day cards – Kaisercraft Cottage Rose..

IMG_6439IMG_6440Another Mothers day card, this time using kaisercrafts new release paper Cottage Rose. This is my kind of paper, and for this gatefold card I have used the 6″ pad. The panel on the front is from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper, and I have used Prima flowers to decorate. I have included 2 photos so that you can see ( sort of) how I decorated the inside panel as well. All the little leaves and twiggy branches were die cut with a great new die from kaisercraft – I love it, and all my scrap green papers are now die cut with it and stored in a container on my desk so that I always have foilage at my fingertips! Today is Village lesson day, so I must head to the craft room to get all my gear together, and remind myself what we  are making- tomorrow I will post pictures of the cards the ladies created.Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft My cherie thank you..11 and 12…

IMG_6290 (Medium)IMG_6292 (Medium)Here are the last two cards made with Kaisercraft my cherie, for the meantime anyway! These ones are thank you cards – I have made a huge range of cards with different sentiments with this collection, so it’s a great one for all round cards. The top card has a mix of 6′ pad papers and 12 x 12 papers, and the bottom card uses just the 6″ pad.I found some flowers in the bottom of  a drawer, wound some silver thread in the back ground and finished off with a big bow and fussy cut butterfly. My roast is in the oven, my shopping list written out for this week, and now I am going to round up Nathan and his camera and take some photos of  my latest makes ready to post!I must take this opportunity to welcome all my new followers, thank you for joining us, feel free to comment and join in crafty conversations! Til tomorrow….

Thinking of you, kaisercraft My Cherie 10..

IMG_6291 (Medium)Another Thinking of you card using kaisercraft My Cherie paper collection. the background paper is from the 6″ pad, and the sentiment and butterfly are cut from 12 x 12 papers from the same collection, with a few flowers added.I rounded the right hand corners to fit in with the curved lines of the sentiment. Tomorrow i have a couple of thank you cards from the same collection, and then we will move on to some Mothers day cards as that is just around the corner. We have a lovely lovely weekend here weather wise, and I have spent some lovely hours  just sitting in the back yard in the sun, a lazy weekend! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercract Ma Cherie 8 and 9…

IMG_6289 (Medium)A change of pace today with a couple of thinking of you cards made with kaisercraft ma Cherie paper collection. I fussy cut the flower sprays from a sheet of 12 x 12 paper, and the lovely embossed paper on the background id from the 6 ” pad, as is the greeting and butterfly.very similar cards – subtle differences – the background papers are two different papers, and the cardstock used are two different shades of grey. This morning I was digging through my graphic 45 paper looking for special papers to use for a village lesson, and I need a lot of the same paper as my ladies want to learn how to make a bendy card and graphic 45 is the only paper I have in large quantities – mainly because once home with it I find it very difficult to cut into – I love it that much!Going through it all Ideas were springing from everywhere – I will never have enough time to make everything I want to, but at least I have realised the time has come to use this paper! So any spare time this weekend will be spent with Graphic 45!Til tomorrow….
