Kaisercraft cottage Rose number 2

IMG_0595 (Medium)Today we start a series of cards that I made with kaisercraft cottage Rose paper collection and matching collectables. This first one is a wedding card – I used a kaisercraft die for the sentiment and die cut it from stampin up silver cardstock.( this set of kaisercraft dies are brilliant – they have anniversary, engagement, birthday and congratulations all in the one set – brilliant value). The flowers are green tara and prima, and the silver thread is stampin up. I punched the leaves with my martha stewart leaf punch. This one is a favourite of mine! I was hoping to get into the craft room and make some more cards for my boxes, but I have a few orders to do, and I am picking up my new stampin up catalogue from my sister today, so will probably spend my spare time studying it and making an extensive wish list! Til tomorrow….

  2. Beautiful Helen..I can see this is a square card..what size Helen? Are the sentiments in the centre a stamp?..and yes…that Kaisercraft Die is wonderful?last week I cut them all onto neutral cardstock and cut them up for a personal sentiment for my Nephew..I have a few sets of Alpha Dies but the letters in that set are the perfect size..xx

    1. Hi marcia, its a 13 cm x 13 cm square card, which is the same size as the kaisercraft square cards. The sentiments in the centre were on one of the 12 x 12 papers from cottage rose collection, and I do like them – I guess we could print them off on the computer for further makes – see, you have given me an idea!I didnt think of doing that with the dies but it is a brilliant idea! xx

      1. Thanks for your reply Helen..I don’t like printing sentiments off the computer..I like the hands on ..homemade approach..just my own personal thoughts though..my Son says..”they’re homemade cards Mum..anyone can print off a computer these days”..xx
