Kaisercraft coastal escape 1,2 and 3

IMG_4108 (Medium)IMG_4109 (Medium)IMG_4110 (Medium)A beach theme today with the wonderful papers from Kaisercraft – coastal escape. All the cards here are made with just a couple of the 12 x 12 sheets, and they were a lesson I taught a couple of months ago at paper Flourish. The trim is by Green tara, and the large happy birthday die is from kaisercraft, the smaller one is by spellbinders. The bottom card is a great sketch idea to use up those little strips we always have left over!My voice has come back, and I am starting to feel more like normal again, just a s well really, I need a ll my energy to chase after that puppy who has developed an obssession with my balls of wool. No amount of telling off will put her off, and yesterday she had unravelled 3 balls all through the house.I must invest in a zip up bag that she can’t get into! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft My Cherie card in a box

IMG_4126 (Medium)Quick post today as I am back to the work routine! This is the last Kaisercraft My Cherie for now,as I said I have a lot of this paper so it will pop up again…I did a card in a box, fussy cut the butterflies from one of the 12 x 12 sheets, and stuck them on thin strips of acetate. The paper on the actual box is from the 6″ pad. Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Ma Cherie 5 and 6…

IMG_4123 (Medium)IMG_4125 (Medium)Two cards today, both with the same decoration, but one done portrait style, and one done landscape style. Background papers are from the Kaisercraft Ma Cherie 6″ pad. The interesting thing about these two cards …On yesterdays card when I die cut the printed sentiment from the 12 x 12 paper I was left with a spotted frame with a hole in the middle, so for todays’ cards I die cut a circle from more patterned paper to fit the hole, rounded the corner with a fancy corner punch from Stampin Up, and used that to create my focal point – I just had to add a fussy cut butterfly ( this collection has a whole sheet of gorgeous butterflies on it to fussy cut!), some liquid pearls on the top card and gorgeous rose trim on the bottom card. After spending my crafting time this week making mens cards I am ready to break out the lace, flowers, ribbons, pearls and create some vintage cards with my new Prima papers – can not wait!! but first Nathan and I have to go and photograph aforementioned mens cards. til tomorrow……

Kaisercraft Ma Cherie number 4

IMG_4122 (Medium)I have some more Kaisercraft Ma Cherie cards to show you. This first one is simply a panel of 12 x 12 paper on top of a card blank ( stampin up cardstock), and I die cut a piece of the card front 12 x 12 papers with a circle die, die cut a scalloped circle ( spellbinders classic scalloped circles) and added flowers, ribbon and a couple of fussy cut betterflies. I knew I had bought this paper, but I searched high and low and couldn’t find it so I bought it all over again, then found the original purchase! I now have lots of this paper, luckily its a beautiful paper range and since making this group of cards I have pulled it out again and it is currently on my desk ready for new ideas this weekend!Til tomorrow….

Mum and dads 60th wedding anniversary card

IMG_4098 (Medium)Today I am showing you the card I have made for Mum and dads 60th wedding anniversary which is next week. I used Kaisercraft true Romance papers, and fussy cut a lot of the flowers and just stuck them on with double sided tape. The 60 you can glimpse amongst the flowers and foilage  was die cut with the Kaisercraft numbers dies with glitter card. There are tabs cut into the card to give it its curved shape, but you can fold it flat for the envelope.I went around all my edges with spun sugar distress ink. I must be off now, I have to find a suitable verse to put inside! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft sail away 16..the last…

IMG_7763 (Medium)This is the last Kaisercraft sail away ( for a while at least) and I made a gate fold card. The paper inside is from the 6″ pad,and I stamped a sentiment inside, used kaisercraft numbers dies for the age on the front, and a tag from the paper pad, button and bakers twine to decorate.I must make more of the gatefold cards, they are very easy to do, and you don’t have to worry about insert and verses etc, if you have nice paper thats enough!Quick post today, it was back to work, and I must now get the household organised. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft sail Away 14 and 15

IMG_7761 (Medium)IMG_7762 (Medium)

Another couple of cards made with kaisercraft sail away – can you tell I really liked this collection? I kept coming up with ideas for it and I love the clear colours. The top card is made using the 6″ pad, and a bit of stampin up bakers twine, and the bottom card has some 12 x 12 paper on the background, with a die cut scalloped circle, and an image from the 6″ pad as the focal point. The braid running down the cards is from stampin up and I have had it for years – there’s a hint – always keep everything, one day it will come in handy!! Public holiday today, the weather is not so humid, all my housework is done, so I am off to the craft room! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft sail away 12 and 13

IMG_7757 (Medium)IMG_7759 (Medium)Some cards for males now, using Kaisercraft sail away. I have already made quite a few cards with this collection and I have a few more to show you all.The top card is made using a corner of one of the 12 x 12 papers, and adding a greeting from the back of the matching 6″ pad, and adding a charm . The bottom card has a piece of the 12 x 12 paper as the background, and a collectable from the collection as the focal point of the card. There is a strip of patterned paper across the bottom, and the chain above it is die cut using a kaisercraft die.I have cleared all my outstanding work ( finally) in the craft room and I will finally get some time to play with the new papers i have been collecting ! Great fun ahead! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Curiosity 18 and 19.

IMG_7747 (Medium)IMG_7750 (Medium)Well I am glad to say we are back to normal after a few days of Nathan tearing his hair out, and muttering technical things that I didn’t understand! This is the last two cards I have made with kaisercraft Curiosity and I can’t believe I have made 19 cards with this paper, and I enjoyed making every one of them! it’s not often that I make that many with one collection, which just goes to prove I loved this paper. One day I will return to it and finish off the bits and pieces I have left. And the most amazing thing is I have used minimal extra embellishing. Truly a great collection. The two cards shown here use all 6″ pad papers and tags, some fussy cut bits and a collectable ( one of the butterflies).Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Curiosity 16 and 17

I’m back, but still a few glitches as you can see, but it’s better than it was!Hopefully by tomorrow all will be restored.Todays cards are still Kaisercraft Curiosity, and we just have a couple more  do and then will move on. Both cards use the 6″ paper pad, and the images are from a 12 x 12 paper.the only extras on the card on the right are ribbon and a die cut from berry vine die ( kaisercraft). We had a very warm weekend, and a couple of birthdays in the family to celebrate, but I did get into the craft room for  an afternoon and planned out a village lesson.I also squeezed in a visit to Paper Flourish ( I just went for double sided tape and 450 glue) and saw the new Prima papers which i just couldnt resist, so came home with lost of new goodies! til tomorrow….
