Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses

IMG_8474 (Medium)I went back though all my older paper to find something suitable for younger girls, and came across Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses ( and matching chipboard pieces). I have an amazing amount of this so i think I have picked up a special or two as well, so I sat down and created quite a few cards from it – here is the first. The plain cardstock which I used for matting is Kaisercard. I can’t remember the name – it had mint in it somewhere, and it perfectly matches the same colour in the paper.Anyway, can’t sit here chatting – I have to get to work …. til tomorrow….

kaisercraft pitter patter birthday cards

IMG_5488 (Medium)IMG_5489 (Medium)IMG_5495 (Medium)the last four cards in my Kaisercraft Pitter Patter collection are birthday cards and I have only done a couple of cards so far using the pink themed papers in this collection.i used the sheet of patterned paper that had the hexagons design for the top two cards, and added ribbon and flowers, ( cardstock is stampin up pool party) and for the bottom two cards I used my Prima dolls stamps, and couture creations retro flower die, pearls and martha stewart leaf punch. I punched the leaves from cream paper and sprayed them pink with some pink fireworks spray to give a mottled effect. til tomorrow….

The cardstock, button, ribbon and twine are all stampin up ojn this one – colour is Pool party.Glad to say my blog is back to normal – wordpress must have had a few complaints and have let us choose old or new so of course I opted for old! I had a tiny class this morning, so sat and joined in the cardmaking – so now I have done my october classes! feels good to be so far ahead! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft pitter Patter 6″ pad for the paper, and the matching collectables to embellish. I used stampin up sky blue cardstock, ink pad ( to ink around my edges) and button and linen thread to finish. today I have been moving some of my bigger tools into the adjoining room ( to be known from here on as the craft room annex!) but I have been a little distracted playing with my new spellbinder dies – I love the borders I bought, and have lots of ideas for them – may even do a lesson using them… still working on that thought! til tomorrow….

I used the 12 x 12 papers for this one, along with some of the matching collectables. I fussy cut the patchwork squares and tucked them behind the checked strip, inking all my edges with Stampin up pool party ink pad. Some more collectables to spell out Baby boy, and a bow over the rattle to finish.Today I saw the new spellbinder dies, and bought a few so hopefully this weekend my new trestle table is positioned in my new extension to my craft space, and I can put all my big tools ( sewing machine, big shot, cricut machine etc ) on it close to hand and ready to use at a moments notice! Can’t wait! Til tomorrow….

IMG_5483 (Medium)

A couple of months ago kaisercraft brought out a new range of baby paper called Pitter Patter. It is gorgeous, and can be used for more than just baby cards, but I started off making a few baby boy cards with with it and this one is the first. I used a piece of patterned paper from the 6″ pad, and some of the matching collectables. I inked all my edges with Stampin up ink – Pool party, and added 2 white ribbon bows. Til tomorrow…..

christmas cards using last years papers!

IMG_5505 (Medium)IMG_5506 (Medium)Here are some example of cards that I made with the leftover collectables from assorted kaisercraft collections from last year.I will show a few more tomorrow, and then we will leave christmas until the new collections start coming out although with so much still leftover I really have no excuse to buy them this year! The bauble cards are a favourite of mine. I haven’t spent a lot of time in the craft room this weekend, I have been busy doing some family research and have found it is very addictive! we had another power cut today so all card making plans went out of the window as I like a good light when I am creating.Til tomorrow…..

Christmas cards using last years leftovers…

IMG_5498 (Medium)I gathered all my Kaisercraft christmas papers from christmas’s past.. ( these included Turtle dove, december 25th,Dear Santa, Tis the Season and twig and Berry) and combined them all. Every one who knows me will tell you this was very hard for me as I always keep my collections separate, and never mix and match!I still won’t mix paper companies. It was not too bad, as most of the collections had very similar colours. Anyway, once that was done I went through the paper pads, and fussy cut, and took out border and labels die cuts that I hadn’t used previously and put these in a separate pile. Next I combined all the collectables into one container, and after all that it was very hard to tell the different collections anyway.First I worked on the wider strips that are left behind when I had covered the original cards and the two cards above are the result of that. I added a collectable to both, some words fussy cut from a nother piece of paper, and some craftworks candii in the top corner of the card on the right.More strip makes tomorrow…. Til tomorrow….

paper flourish challenge – words…

IMG_2623 (Medium)The shop I teach lessons at runs a challenge every month, and this monthe challenge was ” words”. we were given a sheet of this kaisercraft paper and sent off to create working with the theme words. I came up with two cards, this is the first.Along with the paper ( I can’t remember which collection this one came from – will have to research that) I used all stampin up products – cardstock, seam binding, ruffled ribbon and sentiment stamp.I finished off with a couple of kaisercraft pearls. I was hoping I would be showing my xmas card creations using up my scraps, but due to technical difficulties of the computer sort, Nathan has been busy trying to fix my computer for most of today, so no time left to get the camera out. He seems to have succeeded, and I am grateful cos the alternative was going to have to be spend money on a new one!Til tomorrow….
