This week I have three different cards using the same stacking scalloped rectangle die and a few fussy cut images from the Mintay Floral fussycutting book. Just by changing the colours and the sentiments I got my moneys worth from both the die and Mintay book. I have used this die so many times…I love it! Stay safe..Til next time..
This week I was working on a project with Mintay Cosy Evening, and I had a few leftovers. Rather than store them away I made a few cards with them. I added nothing to the finished cards…solely the paper, with a little fussy cutting. I am happy to say all scraps have been dealt with! I have spent so many happy hours sitting at my craft desk, I am so glad I have this hobby at this time, escaping to a happy creating space. I have even taken the time to find some of my older stamp sets, and have been embracing inky fingers again! Til next time, stay safe….
Here are my final two Mintay Bloomville cards ( for now anyway!). The top card is a very simple card that I taught to my retirement village ladies, and involves some embossing with a kaisercraft folder, and fussy cutting of assorted Mintay bloomville papers. The happy Birthday is a die. The second card is a double z fold card, with assorted Mintay Bloomville papers to decorate. This week the craft room clean up continues, with various stops along the way to play with unearthed treasures! Til next time…..
Mintay Bloomville is a gorgeous paper collection, with glorious colours to work with. Lots of fussy cutting opportunities, but I only did a little bit for these two cards. As with every Mintay collection there is a sheet of really pretty mini card fronts and they are what I used for the focus here. As usual when I am working with any Mintay I did lots of layering..I like to get as much of the different paper on one card as I can ..lol… The only extra I added was the little oval metal on the second card and the sentiments. I have added a photo my little Luna, who waits patiently for me to move from the crafting table and play with her.. Til next time….
Two cards today made with Mintay by Carole Together 12 x 12 paper collection. The top card has lots of fussy cutting, and I have just added a few fabric flowers in the lower left corner, as well as a sentiment. The lower card still has a little fussy cut elements, but has more added bits…lace, a chipboard corner ,white die cut leaves, some more flowers, and an extra layer. the chipboard corner blends in better in real life! I have had a lovely crafty week, but now all the cards I have made need inserts as a finishing touch, so that is my job today! Til next time….
I made these ones using Mintay Springtime paper collection a little while ago, but got sidetracked with Christmas cards so haven’t posted them until now. All I have used on these ones are the papers ( except for the cut apart greeting) . Just a layer or two of the paper and lots and lots of fussy cutting! I love the colours on these ones! Today i have been trying to clear up my desk a little bit. Even I have to admit there are too many bits and pieces on it so it’s time for a proper tidy. I have filed all the dies back in their place and now I am off to sort out the loose flowers and metals. Hopefully i don’t get distracted!..Til next time….
I have had the best fun making cards with Mintay Bloomville paper collection.. I have used nothing but the papers and some cardstock and layering for these ones, and lots of fussy cutting! I haven’t done any crafting this weekend – my son is visiting from Sydney and we had a wedding to attend yesterday. It’s been a busy weekend. This week I am officially packing all the Christmas craft supplies back into the craft storage in the shed, finalising the cruise lesson packing, and then can concentrate on my craft fair boxes..I have to sort through them all and see what is needed in them. That’s me sorted for the week! Til next time…..
