Last 2 Christmas for this year..

img_8022-mediumimg_8025-mediumHere are the last two Christmas cards for this year! The top card is made with Stampin Up supplies – Star of light stamp set ( I gold embossed the big swirl stamp),and starlight dies, with gold cord, a couple of gold sequins and a snowflake bling ( from Paper Flourish. The embossing folder is last years release from Stampin up.The bottom card was a bit of an experiment, I cut the front of the card quite drastically, and die cut a couple of circles which I stuck to the right hand side of the base card. You can’t see the bits that i stuck because I covered the back of the base card with some white cardstock ( which I stamped a greeting on). The paper is stampin up, and I punched christmas tres, stuck them on white cardstock and fussy cut out. Til tomorrow…

Special Christmas card..

img_3310-mediumA quick visit back to Christmas cards, and this one was made with someone special in mind – she doesn’t like the traditional colours, so each year I get to experiment with non Christmas colours. This is this years one – the paper is from Stampin Up, and the dies are Kaisercraft. I backed the died outline with silver cardstock, ( the actual dies were cut out of black glitter card) and added some silver cord.Til tomorrow…..

Another Mens card

img_3294-mediumI made this card for an order..I die cut an oval and using the waste part I inked through it onto the base card with green and blue inks. I stamped a stampin up cricket set onto various scraps of cardstock and fussy cut the images, and stuck them onto the base card . I kept it all very simple as that is what my customer wanted, and I really like this one!Back to work this week after my holidays, and taking things very easy with my shoulder! til tomorrow….

Stampin Up Star of light

img_3531-mediumThe third and Final Village card was one made with almost all Stampin Up supplies. The Stamp set is Star of light and I also used the matching die set. I stamped little stamps in blue sky ink before running the layer through a stampin up embossing folder. This one is a very simple card with very little embellishment. I have managed to make a few cards over the last couple of days, pacing myself and staying right away from the die cutting machine!Thank goodness for Kaisercraft ooh La La paper collection – no need for dies with this collection! Til tomorrow….

Back to Christmas!

img_3525-mediumThis is one of my favourite Christmas cards from this years’ makes. All supplies are from Stampin Up except for the bling, and the paper is a retired collection ( from stampin up) but I liked it so much last year I bought more for this years makes. This card and the next 2 I will show over the next couple of days were made for a village class I did a couple of weeks ago. I am back from my short break away to visit my son and his partner in Sydney, We had a lovely time, and the weather was good,my shoulder is still no good so I am now back off to the Dr to see what else he can do for me,I guess the craft room is still a no-go zone. Til tomorrow….

More Happy Reindeers..

img_9364-mediumDon’t these reindeers make you smile?I used an embossing folder for the background ( stampin Up) and ripped up white cardstock  to make the foreground. I added aline of glue across the top of each layer and stuck on loose glitter.Fussy cut reindeers from stampin up home for christmas designer paper, and added die cut leaves and sentiment with  kaisercraft dies. A sprinkle of red kaisercraft rhinestones and these which were a joy to make were done! Til tomorrow….

Home for Christmas

img_9362-mediumimg_9363-mediumStampin Up Home for Christmas designer papers, and cardstock. These ones are very simple with just a little layering and fussy cutting from the papers. The sentiment on the top card is by Kaisercraft and the bottom sentiment is a new stampin up stamp.Very quick and easy! til tomorrow….

The cutest Reindeer

img_9360-mediumWe are still with Stampin Up designer papers from last year ( home for Christmas). One sheet was covered with the cutest reindeers, and I spent a couple of pleasant evenings cutting them all out!  I cut the paper and cardstock into banners, wrapped some silver twine around the top, and stuck it all onto a card made from stampin up cardstock. The sentiment is stamped with an older stampin up stamp set, with a couple of kaisercraft rhinestones added too! We have a long weekend here, and i have quite a few orders to make as well as some family birthdays to keep me busy as well…Til tomorrow….

Christmas with Dies

img_9355-mediumimg_9359-mediumTodays cards rely heavily on dies. The paper I used is by Stampin Up called Home for Christmas and it was released last year, but I still have a bit left. For the top card the sentiment die is a new release from memory box,and the scenery dies are by stampin up also a release from last year, but I didn’t get them in time to use them last year. The bottom card has a window die cut with a memory box die, with one of the stampin up dies behind it. The house and christmas tree were fussy cut from the stampin up paper. We are experiencing wild weather here at the moment, so will post this now in case we lose power again! Til tomorrow….

Stampin Up Tuscan Vineyard continued..

IMG_0322 (Medium)IMG_0323 (Medium)Here are the other two cards I made with all stampin up supplies, and the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set.The top card has an interesting background – I created an oval mask and then rolled over the vanilla cardstock with suede ink and a sponge roller. The resulting background looks like a sandstone wall which fits in perfectly with the theme of the card.Quick post today as I have just accepted a job on a cruise ship for a 7 day trip as an arts/crafts instructor and I have to plan out the lessons. Great excitement here, but will have to wait until March for the trip!Til tomorrow…
