Todays two cards highlight the Go Press and Foil machine, which I used to foil the Happy Birthday. I did these two cards for a class that I taught, and incorporated some die cutting with Seven paper Doll dies. On the top card I cut up one of the filigreed die cut squares to create fancy borders. Glitter cardstock was used for the leave and flourish dies, and then just added some pretty flowers. I have been missing from here this week as My dad is in hospital and I have been busy visiting him, and working in between. He is still in hospital, having many tests, so my busy life is ongoing, I will get back here as often as time permits , Til then……

Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 4,5 and 6…
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes collection pack, collectables and 6″ pad…Not much else required..a bit of bling, a ribbon bow ….thats it! The bottom card has a sentiment which is a Couture Creations hot Foil stamp which I did on my Go press and Foil machine and then die cut with a Seven paper Dolls die. When i have my Hot foil machine out I tend to do a few at once so that I have a bit of a collection to choose from on my desk. I have to say I do love my foil machine! I have been spreading the word about it , running regular classes at paper Flourish showing all the different things you can do with it, and some of the ladies have given me more ideas and uses too which I am looking forward to investigating. In the meantime, today is my craft and chat gathering and looking forward to catching up with my crafty friends for a relaxing afternoon. We may even get some crafting done! Til tomorrow….
Go Press and Foil class cards..
I haven’t done many mens cards this year, because there has been a lack of mens card related products, but I did teach a class with the Couture Creations Go Press and Foil machine and some new hot press stamps which actually foil, emboss and die cut all in one step. The background paper is by Stamperia, and the Birthday sentiment is a Uniquely Creative stamp. You can see how the special hot press stamps emboss , foil and die cut perfectly in these cards, the top card I used the “waste” foil as another element on the card and for the bottom card I left the “waste ” foil still on the car as it added a different shade of chocolate foil to the car. I hope all my American followers down south are keeping safe, Til tomorrow…..
Go Press and foil ..simple..
Todays card is a very simple one made with my Go Press and Foil machine to foil the Rose hot foil stamp ( couture Creations) in green foil, and then white cardstock for the rest. I dry embossed a piece of cardstock with a stampin up embossing folder, and Die cut a stitched oval ( Seven Paper Dolls die) One little white ribbon and this all occasion card is finished! I have a day off today and quite a bit of housework to catch up on, but I am sure I will find some spare time to unwind in the craft room…til tomorrow….
Go Press and foil sympathy
Today is a sympathy card, kept very simple, and all white ( I do love an all white card…did you guess that?) I have dry embossed a layered background with a stampin up embossing folder, Foiled a couture creations hot foil stamp with silver foil, die cut that piece with a stitched oval die, and then just added a few flowers. So many things on just now… still trying to get organised for my craft fair in a couple of weeks, and then it will be full steam ahead organising my six classes for the cruise next February. I know that seems a long time away but time continues to fly and there is a lot of preparation work for the cruise classes 2 cards each class and all die cutting and embossing have to be done beforehand to limit the amount of luggage I have to take on board. It’s all good fun! Til tomorrow….
Mums Birthday card..
It is my mums birthday, and this is the card I have made for her, although to be completely open and honest, once this photo was taken I added a couple more flowers ( in white) in the left hand bottom corner! It is all done with my Go Press and Foil machine, including the foiled embossed background. The butterfly is foiled on acetate, and I foiled the sentiment as well. a bit of layering and lace, ribbon and flowers and this one is ready for giving to Mum today. Yesterday was spent ( after a two hour trip to Bunnings to purchase various garden items for Nathan and house paint for me) in the craft room preparing all of June lessons. Glad they are organised because I really have to concentrate on the craft fair in June now. I am looking forward to an enjoyable afternoon at Paper Flourish ( where our on line shop goes live on Tuesday!) with my craft and chat group. til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft miss Betty double zig zag..
The Kaisercraft Miss Betty collection worked perfectly as a double zigzag card, and here are two that I made with this collection. I used a mix of 12 x 12 papers, some papers from the 6″ pad and the matching collectables. On the top card i made the most of my lace, ribbon and flowers whereas on the lower card I only added a little ribbon and a few sequins. I had a great day yesterday playing with my new Go Press and Foil cut, foil and emboss dies, here is a selection of completed cards!
Happy Anniversary!
Today is our 37th wedding anniversary and I made this card for my husband. Sorry it appears to be on its side, although I did rotate it so not sure what is happening there, but hopefully you get the idea!I used my go press and foil to foil emboss the spotty background, and foil all the wooden pieces too. All i had to do after that was die cut the layers with a postage stamp die set. Today I paid for my stall at the June long weekend craft and hobby fair at parafield gardens, ( the recreation centre) so after the busy week I have work wise this week it will be time to sort out all my cards for the stall. But as I said, before that a very busy few days at work organising our stall at marion Leisure centre craft fair on Sunday. I am really looking forward to taking our shop on the road! I may not get back here until next Monday so until then ……
It’s all about the Shoes!
A pair of shoes today! The patterned papers are from my 12 x 12 Mambi Happy pad,and i die cut the shoes from glitter cardstock ( american crafts brand). I have also done some foiling with the Go Press and foil machine ( couture Creations) The Happy Birthday pieces are Dusty attic and foiled, and I also foiled the oval with a couture creations metal stamp specifically designed for foiling. Some flowers and ribbon bows and these two were complete! I have had a relaxing Easter break, prepared all my May lessons, and yesterday Joe, Nathan and I went for a drive up to Mt Lofty Botanical gardens. It was a beautiful day weather wise, and we all enjoyed strolling up and down the paths where we saw the leaves on the trees turning their autumn colours. Til tomorrow…..
Go press and Foil card ..the other one..
While I had my Go press and foil machine out I foiled a few extra pieces to have on hand on my desk so you will see bits popping up on other random cards, but this card was all Go Press and Foil. I used the big go press and foil stamp ( its called a stamp but is actually a metal plate) to foil the aqua background and fussy cut out the centre and around the outside. I gold foiled a happy birthday chipboard piece from Dusty Attic, and the little wooden bird by Kaisercraft. The Green foiled foliage is a wooden piece by kaisercraft and I added some gorgeous flowers from Iamroses. Today is a public holiday here and I am making good use of the day off to try and clear my desk, where random projects have been started and left there! Til tomorrow….
