A card with my Go Press and Foil machine…

_MG_9098 (Medium)As you all know , I purchased a Go Press and Foil machine and have been practising with it. The upshot is I have a lot of foiled bits and pieces waiting to be made into cards! I sat down the other day and made a few, this is the first one…Stampin Up cardstock ( watermelon wonder I believe) for the card base, and the  Go Press and foils stamps for the ornate embossed background and the sentiment. some ribbon, a hand coiled flower ( also on my desk waiting for a project) some die cut greenery and flowers from Iamroses website. i have a few hours to myself today, so i am heading into the craft room with no plan..just going to see where the inspiration takes me! Kaisercraft My cherie thank you..11 and 12…

IMG_6290 (Medium)IMG_6292 (Medium)Here are the last two cards made with Kaisercraft my cherie, for the meantime anyway! These ones are thank you cards – I have made a huge range of cards with different sentiments with this collection, so it’s a great one for all round cards. The top card has a mix of 6′ pad papers and 12 x 12 papers, and the bottom card uses just the 6″ pad.I found some flowers in the bottom of  a drawer, wound some silver thread in the back ground and finished off with a big bow and fussy cut butterfly. My roast is in the oven, my shopping list written out for this week, and now I am going to round up Nathan and his camera and take some photos of  my latest makes ready to post!I must take this opportunity to welcome all my new followers, thank you for joining us, feel free to comment and join in crafty conversations! IMG_3100 (Medium) IMG_3101 (Medium)Here are the final 4 cards I have made with Simple Stories I Am. A bit of layering on these ones, and some of the extra embellishments I used were a metal key, ribbon bow, sequins,Die cut vellum butterfly and a flower. As you can tell I loved working with this paper collection and think I made 32 cards altogether with this purchase! Today was a day off for me but very busy shopping and time spent getting my little car fixed, but I have a little while before I have to organize tea so will head to the craft room to start a couple of customer orders.til tomorrow….

Prima Tea thyme 12 and 13

IMG_5751 (Medium)IMG_5752 (Medium)early post today as I may not get back on here today… very busy…..Prima tea Thyme collection – the top card also uses the matching stickers, and some pearls, ribbon and lace. the bottom card uses all that, plus some chipboard which I stamped on with staz-on ink and a stampin up sentiment stamp.Staz on ink is the best for these shiny chipboard pieces because it doesnt smudge.Til tomorrow…..

New Kaisercraft Feather die

IMG_3228 (Medium)A little break from all things Christmas today. I recently had the pleasure of roadtesting some new Kaisercraft dies for my local craft shop – Paper flourish, and one of the dies is featured here on todays card. I was most impressed with the quality of the dies, and particularly liked the way they fell off the die without very much persuasion at all! Here I have used it as it was intended – just die cut a couple of feathers and inked around the edges. On other cards I used the negative cut to sponge through onto my paper( which worked brilliantly) and ran other feathers through the die cutting machine in an embossing folder which also worked a treat, so lots of use from this die!The bird stamp on this card is by oxford impressions, and the flower is Prima. sentiment stamp, ribbon and linen thread are all from stampin up. til tomorrow….

Prima Forever Green number 1..

IMG_8591 (Medium)Nathan and I have had a busy morning taking photos of all my recent makes so I am now ready to go!First up is the new Prima Forever Green series of patterned papers, and assorted matching bits and pieces. The only other company here is Stampin Up with their cardstock, sentiment stamp and ribbon. I have discovered a new toy! It is called Wink of Stella, and looks like a mascara but it has a brush on the end, and you know how I love kindyglitz, stickles.. any kind of shimmery bling.. well this is a more subtle application – it gives a shimmery appearance. you can see here I have used it on the flowers-on the image and the flowers down there in the left hand side. This is now a tool I keep in my absolutely need kit!Til tomorrow…..

Bo Bunny – The Avenues….

IMG_3012 (Medium)this one had me stumped- I had to go through all my paper collections to find the name! I have only done a couple of cards with it so that’s why it didn’t come to mind… anyway it is Bo Bunny The Avenues, and the bits and pieces on the card front are from the matching noteworthy collection. I distressed all the edges, and I have left it out on my table to do some more with it this evening. I have been working on xmas most of the day so will welcome a little break tonight! Til tomorrow….

serene silhouettes

IMG_2854 (Medium)Now and again I get out my inks and stamps, and go to town! For the next few days we will have a stamping special where I will show you what I have been working on lately. This one uses all stampin up – cardstock – pretty in pink, raspberry ripple and primrose petals. The stamp is from Serene Silhouettes stamp set and stamped in Raspberry ripple ink, and even the ribbon is stampin up! I die cut a circle through the top two layers of cardstock so that the lowest colour showed through, and I have just realised the embossing folder I used was not stampin up – it was a freebie off the front of a magazine. Had a lovely crafty afternoon with some other like minded ladies, swapped tips, saw what each other were working on, and enjoyed afternoon tea together – it was lovely after doing lessons back to back this week to just sit, craft and relax! Til tomorrow….

Botanical Odyssey number 2

IMG_8736 (Medium)Today is Kaisercraft Botanical Odyssey number 2. Just the 6″paper pad, and matching collectables, and a little seam binding for this one – I do love this paper, and in a minute when I return to the craft room where I have been working on May Lessons, I am going to get it back out and make some more cards with this one! I haven’t played nearly enough with it yet! Great to see the rain this afternoon, a great day for crafting. Til tomorrow….
