Stampin Up Baby Prints

I have had this stamp set ( stampin Up baby prints) for a while, but really haven’t had time to properly play with it – this is my first card with it – I have used stampin Up bashful blue ink, and I also tried out another new toy – my sizzix tim holtz alterations embossing diffuser set #1. This is a great ideas, that lets you use your embossing folder ( in this case Cuttlebug swiss dots) and still keep part of the card un – embossed, which is where I stamped the feet. I just added a ribbon and dummy to finish. This week I have been working on some xmas card designs for my village ladies big xmas cards for the troops marathon which happens next Friday… til tomorrow…..

A One layer card

Remember the other day I said I challenged myself to make a simple one layer card? This is the result – look not a ribbon, bit of lace or bling to be found! What do you think? I found it incredibly difficult to restrain myself, but I quite like the effect the stamped squares give. I used stampin up ink pads in graduating colours, and over stamped with a Sullivans paper xtra stamp. The square stamp was actually an off cut that was meant to be thrown out when I put  together a stamp set I purchased from stampin up – no waste here! Til tomorrow…..

Very vintage London market

This is my favourite card made with this paper – Pink Paislee London Market 6″ paper and ephemera , and I added lace, flower and pearls. I stamped a kaisercraft bird cage, and greeting. That was also the last in my Pink Paislee london Market collection, on to something different tomorrow! til tomorrow…..

Vintage london market

Todays card is still using Pink Paislee london market, but I have given it a bit of a vintage twist, easily done with the muted colour tones and a bit of lace. The flourish is my Cheery Lyn Tropical Flourish die, run through my cuttlebug and I just added a pastel ribbon and flower in the top corner to decorate. there are a few layers to this card which all adds to the vintage feel, as does swiping all the edges with my Victorian rose ink pad. I have been busy today creating wedding cards, but tonight I might make a start on designing some new xmas cards… til tomorrow…

London Market number 3

This is another card made with my Pink Paislee London market 6″ papers, and ephemera pack. I added some Stampin Up goodies to this one my young vermillion stamp – first stamped then coloured with my sponge daubers, and leaves die cut with my little leaves die, and some bakers twine to thread through the bunting. I have turned on the heater in the craft room, and intend to have a long session in there tonight – I am feeling very creative! Til tomorrow….

Lacey Dress card…

I still have a couple of male themed cards to show in my last series, but I have abandoned them for the time being, as i felt in the mood for something really girly! I thoroughly enjoyed making this card, as it fulfills all my crafting enjoyment requirements – a bit of fussy cutting ( the bodice was cut from an image from Stampin Up attic Boutique paper collection) and lots of lace and bling! The background paper is also from Attic Boutique ( stampin Up) and the cardstock is Stampin Up baja breeze. I tied a narrow ribbon and flower around the waist, and the skirt was made from a very wide piece of lace that I picked up from Spotlight.I added Kindyglitz to the bodice.

A mix of papers and some twine…

I have combined a couple of different papers here for this male birthday card ( would work just as well for Fathers day. From the base – Stampin Up cardstock – Not quite navy, the backfground paper and banner – Simple stories Awesome, the tag – stampin up naturals ivory, the denim pocket – october afternoon sasparilla. The pocket was stamped with my kazzazz stamp – large pocket, and then cut out – looks like the real thing doesn’t it? and I added craftworkcards candi and threaded the tag with stampin up bakers twine. This is a great card if you are giving a gift voucher because is fits into the pocket.  Someone today was my 50,ooo th visitor – that’s exciting and what keeps me blogging – thank you all so much for continuing to visit! Til tomorrow….

simple stories – a fathers day card

After all those girly butterfly cards it’s time to look at a few male cards. I have put a happy birthday greeting on this one, but it would  also work as a fathers day card. the papers are from the Simple stories Awesome range, and I fussy cut around the bike and mounted it with 3d squares.  All I added were 3 Craftworkcard candis in the top corner. I distressed and inked the edges, ad that is all there is to this one!I have a couple of orders to complete tonight, so Til tomorrow….
