The Lake House number 7

here is the last of my Kaisercraft The Lake House collection. I used the  6″ pad, a pice of the 12 x 12 paper ( this is a great sheet, full of labels) and a couple of the collectables from the matching collection. The cardstock is stampin Up early Espresso, and I die cut the flowers using my cuttlebug and Stampin Up blossom party die and tim Holtz sizzix tattered florals garland die. I only had to add a ribbon bow and liquid pearls and it was finished! Tonight I am making a start on Fathers day cards – I have some ideas so should have a good crafty session tonight! Til tomorrow…

The lake House number 5

Number 5 in my Kaisercraft The lake House series uses paper from the 6″ pad, and a couple of die cuts from the lakehouse collectables pack. I inked the edges of the die cuts, and used my tim holtz sizzix  tattered florals garland die to die cut some little flowers. Just had to add the Kaisercrafft rhinestones and it was finished! Early to bed for me tonight as I have to get up at 4 am for work, but I will spend a little while in the craft room creating to relax first! Til tomorrow….

Tyhe Lake house number 4

Number 4 in my Kaisercraft The Lake House collection. here I have used the 6″ pad, and the matching collectables. I inked around the edges of the collectables with victorian rose distress ink, and punched a border with my martha stewart punch. I just added some ribbon and kindyglitz, and the cardstock used was Stampin Up Blushing Bride. So excited today as Amy Tangerine ( who designed the sketchbook papers that I used a few posts ago commented here on my blog!)That’s a thrill! The Lake house 3

Still using the 6″ pad from Kaisercraft The Lake House,I fussy cut around the flower sheet, and also cut a couple of extra flowers to pop on top with mounting squares. I added some ribbon, a stick pin, and flower, and used some liquid pearls and kindyglitz to decorate, and also slipped in a die cut from the matching collectables pack. The cardstock is Stampin Up Early Espresso.I am busy this week coming up with some lesson ideas, but also very busy at work, so a bit tired when I get home, already looking forward to the weekend when I intend to craft a lot! Lakehouse number 2

Here is number 2 in my Kaisercraft Lakehouse collection, this time using papers from the 6″ pad. I fussy cut around the  floral piece in the pad ( love it) and backed it with the striped piece. All that was left to do was punch a couple of butterflies with my Martha Stewart butterfly punch, and add the greeting and some kindyglitz. I think this is my favourite card! Well thats the weekend over – a very short one for me this week as I only had today off, but looking forward to the end of this week when I have 4 days off – yay! Til tomorrow….

Lakehouse number 1

Today we start a new series, using the new kaisercraft papers – Lakehouse. I haven’t really had enough time to play with this paper, but I have done a few cards which I will show over the next few days. This was the first one I made, using the 12 x 12 papers, and also added a flower die cut rom my Stampin Up Blossom Party die, and added some ribbon. The cardstock is stampin up Blushing Bride.Another cold day here in adelaide, so it will probably be another craft free night in front of the heater! Til tomorrow….

Black and White

This is the card I made using the Typewriter stamp from the Established Elegance set by Stampin Up.The patterned papers are also from Stampin Up but I can’t remember the name of the collection – Printery rings a bell, but I am sure someone will let me know and put me out of my misery!I did a bit of distressing, inking and ripping ( still have trouble ripping my beautiful papers) and stamped the greeting onto more patterned paper and tucked it into the typewriter. Not my usual style of card, but it’s not in my box any more so someone liked it!Til tomorrow….

Some stamping fun..

Now and again when I have a bit of time I like to get out all my stamps and inks and just see what happens and this is the result from the other day. I used stampin Up cardstock – early espresso, blushing bride and very vanilla, and some lace and ribbon, then went to town with the stamps from my Established Elegance set ( Stampin Up)I think I used all the stamps in this set – oh except for the typewriter stamp.. that was used on another card which I will show tomorrow. The papers are from Stampin Up Attic boutique.Very wet and cold day here in Adelaide. Its a heater night tonight! Til tomorrow….

Simple Stories Awesome 7

This is the last male card that I will show for a little while – we will have a break from mens cards tomorrow. The paper is Simple Stories Awesome, and I used the 12 x 12 sheets. All the images were on the sheets, it was just a matter of cutting out the bits that I wanted. The stars are from the matching sticker sheet, and I distressed and inked all the edges with Tim Holtz rusty Hinge ink. The cardstock is Stampin Up Cajun craze. Tomorrow something girly!
