This is number 6 in my simple stories awesome series, and I have quite a few more to show so after tomorrows post we will take a short break from them and come back to them at a later date otherwise you are all going to get bored! Here i have used one of the 12 x 12 sheets of patterned paper, and some craftworks cards candii. the guitar is a sticker from the matching sticker sheet. I can’t say it enough this paper is great for those tricky mens cards, and they seem to make themselves! The cardstock is stampin Up more mustard. I went back to work today after a months holidays, so it might be a quiet night in front of the T.V. for me.. Til Tomorrow….
Simple stories awesome 5
O.K. – I have lost track of the number in this series so I am calling it number 5…. The paper is Simple Stories Awesome, and here I have combined it with my Lacey Pennant spellbinders for the banner across the top, and I used a matching border sticker across the bottom. I stuck on a couple of Tim Holtz idea -ology sprocket gears, and distressed and inked all the edges.I taught a class over at paper flourish today – always enjoy my time with my ladies – and while there saw the new graphic 45 papers – a ladies diary collection – and couldn’t resist buying lots of it so tonight I am hoping tto spend a little time in the craft room creating with it – Til tomorrow….

Mens card ideas
I got a little distracted but we are back to my mens card series using Simple Stories Awesome paper. On both of the cards i used a Docrafts papermania stamp – happy Birthday, stamping it onto a few different pieces of paper and then cutting out the letters and reassembling it. I also used my spellbinders dies – Stars five and lacey Pennant for the banners and stars..Great paper for mens cards.Today nathan filmed me colouring my stamped images for a youtube video which will be up here tomorrow for those of you who have asked how I colour my stamped images.otherwise today I have been working on a secret project for my sisters upcoming BIG birthday. I have had this idea in my head for a while but found this week I couldn’t settle to anything so knew I had to sit down today and create it – it’s nearly finished I just have to find where I stored my hot glue gun….. Now for something completely different….
This morning I taught my class over at Paper flourish, and I want to thank my ladies for their patience today – I am suffering from a sore throat and fuzzy head, but we muddled through and got there in the end – Thank you all very much.Today I have put up 2 photos, the bottom photo is a close up of one of the cards. The story behind the cards – I picked up a bag of little dolls from my local cheap shop thinking they would look great on cards, brought them home and had these cards done in no time! the paper I used on all the cards is from the same 6 inch paper pad – Prima Yuki for Ruby Violet. It had all the colours I needed in the one pad – always exciting when that happens, and the only other thing I added was assorted ribbon. The sentiments were stamped with Stampin Up labels stamp and the punched out with stampin Up Decorative labels punch.No crafting for me tonight – just a quiet night in front of the T.V. with a hot lemon and Honey drink! here is the final of my American craft Amy tangerine sketchbook series, tomorrow on to something different! Again on this card, I just let the papers talk and layered different patterns of the 12 x 12 sheets, just added a little ribbon, kaisercraft rhinestones and kindyglitz. this was easy paper to work with and I really enjoyed the bright colours for a change of pace from my usual pastel toned favourites. The cardstock I used was from Stampin Up. Tonight I am going to be experimenting with my new kaisercraft paper, and looking forward to doing some creating! Til tomorrow….

Here is my second to last American crafts Amy tangerine Sketchbook card. Just used the paper, and did lots of layering. The butterfly is die cut using a couple of memory bopx dies – Moonlight Butterfly and Kaliedoscope butterfly. The cardstock and sentiment are from Stampin Up. Tonight I have a few orders to fulfil, so I will be in the craft room for a little while. til tomorrow…..

Today in my bold and bright series we get 3 for the price of one! The paper is American crafts Amy Tangerine Sketchbook, and the technique today is fussy cutting. I used 12 x 12 papers and cut the flower images out to make these bright cards. the only other embellishments needed here were buttons, bling, ribbon and kindyglitz. the cardstock and sentiment stamp were from Stampin Up.I spent all of today doing a stocktake of my cards and tidying up my craft room. It’s all organised now so hopefully I can find a little time to get in there and do some creating! Til tomorrow…

Firstly tonight I want to say thank you for the lovely comments from 2 of my followers -Margaret and Shirley. I always love to read your comments, and to know that someone is reading my ramblings! A very easy card tonight – this one made itself. I loved the image in the corner in one of the 12 x 12 sheets so cut it out and built the card around it. I just added ribbon and a bit of bling. the cardstock was from stampin Up as was the sentiment. Well my foray into the craftf market is over for now – I had a lovely 3 days meeting lots of interesting people, but now is the clean up – my craft room is a disaster are so tomorrow will be spent trying to restore order to it! In keeping with my personal challenge of trying to make a male card from each product collection I purchase, I made this card with my american crafts Amy Tangerine Sketchbook papers. No mean feat when the papers are so bright and girly! I die cut some banners using my spellbinders Lacy pennant die, and the label was die cut using spellbinders Labels fourteen. I stamped the sentiment with stampin Up Perfectly Penned, and layered it all on Stampin Up Crumbcake cardstock. I just cut strips of different paper for the base – another good way to use up scraps! One more day at the craft fair, then quite a few weeks refilling by boxes! Til tomorrow….
