Hello and welcome to my new subscriber! Tonight I have a simple card made using a bit of 12 x 12 paper from Kaisercraft sweet nothings collection and the matching collectables. All I added was a ribbon bow and a few flowers, ( and a little kindyglitz). The sentiment in the middle is stamped with Stampin Up Perfectly Penned… I do like this stamp and am getting so much use out of it.The paper is a favourite too, and I have still so much of it left so I will be using it for some of my Mothers day cards. I will be in the craft room tonight .I have quite a few orders to put together so they will keep me busy for the next few days. Til tomorrow….
Sweet Nothings revisited
Today I have gone back to a kaisercraft Paper collection called sweet nothings. I have already posted a few cards made with this paper and I have a couple more in my file. here I used the 6″ paper pad and decorated with Prima flower and leaves, and a little ribbon. I installed my new most amazing shelving unit last night and it is full.. Now I can’t fit another one in my little room, so I am going to have to work very hard to use up the papers I have before I buy more. I think I hear my sister Kay snickering in disbelief…Til tomorrow..
A different stamping techinique…
Todays card uses the lovely soft pastel papers from Melissa francis, and a couple of Martha stewart punches, flowers and lace. but the reason I put it up today was to show a stamping technique I used on it. I love the poem on this card, but it looked a bit plain when it was put together, so I stamped a tree ( from lovely as a tree – Stampin up) in versamark, and brushed some perfect pearls over the top. It gives a holographic effect – at some angles you can see the tree, and at other angles you can read the poem. This will possibly be mums Mothers day card, just because I love the the poem and I’m sure she will too. I am awaiting arrival of my second most amazing shelving unit so will be busy tonight filling it with papers! Til tomorrow….
Blossom party
A later post for me tonight as I have been out crafting with friends, and time just ran away, so here I am while tea ( late) is cooking…. I have done this card before in pinks, and I wanted to try a different colourway, and I like it! I have used – all stampin up cardstock – wisteria wonder, concord crush, and certainly celery. The die for the flowers is Sizzix stampin up Blossom Party, I punched the leaves with my stampin up bird punch, and I have used a Stampin Up vintage brad in the main flower and kaisercraft sparklet on the smaller ones.I think I might work my way through all my colourde cardstock making variations of this one as it’s so simple and looks effective. Welcome to my new subscriber, and til tomorrow…..
stamped Lil Primrose
I do like stamping – I just don’t do it very often because the papers take over! I particularly like stamps that I can use in a way that combines stamping with my love of fussy cutting so when I saw this little girl stamp from Kaisercrafts new range Lil Primrose I thought this is the stamp for me! I stamped her 3 times on to different scrap pieces of Kaisercraft Lil primrose 6″ paper pad, and cut out elements from each one to make up the whole – no colouring! All theother papers on the card are from the same range, I fussy cut the flowers down the bottom and added a little liquid pearls to the centres, and added a ribbon bow. The cardstock is Stampin Up Blushing Bride. I have spent some time in the craft room today and am heading back in there now…. Til tomorrow….
Mainly cuttlebug 7
Todays card is one I made, being inspired from a craft magazine, but I didn’t have any of the dies they used so I adapted what I had here. I think it turned out quite well…The list of products used – Prima Sparkling spring papers, sizzix die – tatttered florals, leaves punched with Stampin Up bird punch ( wouldn’t be without that punch!), birdcage – cricut cartridge “Serenade” and lightly inked, spellbinders – Bird sanctuary ( for the birds which I sponged inked for colour) and Twisted metal tags. I hand cut the branch and lightly inked it, and finished with kaisercraft pearls and perfect pearls. Now today I am finishing off and order and then I have 4 new paper collections to play with over the week end so looking forward to a crafty weekend! Til tomorrow…..
My new Dies!
I purchased a few new dies for my cuttlebug a couple of weeks ago, and here I have used them all on the one card…. The paper I used is Kaisercraft Madame boutique, and I made the floral accent in the corner with my Martha Stewart deep edge punch and topped it with a resin flower from kaisercraft. The Doily die is Kiwi from Cheery Lyn designs, the scroll is Faunterleroy crest from memory box, and the ribbon buckle is Locina Buckle also by Memory box.
Great fun, I can’t wait til I have a bit more time to play some more with them… Til tomorrow…
La di Da group 2
Here are the other 2 cards I made with my Kaisercraft La di da 6″paper pad. I really like the bright clean colours of this paper, and all I added was a little ribbon, some bling and butterflies punched with my Martha Stewart Butterfly punch. the rest was fussy cut from the paper pad. I am hoping to spend an hour in the craft room tonight, I have an order to fulfil, so have a project in mind! Til tomorrow….
La di da…
A quick post tonight as it is shopping night… This is an old Kaisercraft range, but I was lucky enough to be given a 6″ pad, – it’s called La Di da, and here are two cards i have made from it . I just did a bit of fussy cutting, used my Martha Stewart picket fence punch, and added ribbon, bling and some hot pink netting cut into circles and gathered. Til tomorrow….
Wedding Card and Cuttlebug
I got the idea for this card from a magazine, but I didn’t have any of the supplies they used so I improvised and this is what I came up with… the list of products used is quite long so here goes… I used Pearlescent cardstock in pink,my Tim holtz sizzix vintage car die through my cuttlebug, spellbinders die labels 14,tattered florals sizzix die, banner cut using my cricut and Heritage cartridge,Prima Botanicals patterned paper, Stampin Up Perfectly penned and Marry Me stamps for sentiments, and various flowers, ribbon and a Maya road stick pin.Every thing was inked around the edges with victorian velvet distress ink.I have spent a lovely day in the craft room, it’s a lot cooler here today, back to work tomorrowbut it’s been a lovely 5 day break.. Til tomorrow….
