Group of Lil Primrose

I found some more Kaisercraft Lil Primrose cards in my photo files, so thought I would put them up today. I have used the 6″ paper pad and matching Kaisercraft Lil Primrose collectables, and assorted ribbon and flowers . A very,  very quiet day at the market today, and very warm and muggy in the big shed, a relief to get home and have a cool shower !A little tired after the early start to the day, so I will probably not visit the craft room later… we will see… Til tomorrow…

another use for stocking punch

O.k. My web master is not here, and my blog is doing strange things – hopefully you will all be able to see the photo and read my bit – I packed up all my xmas card making bits and pieces, and as I had my Stampin up stocking punch in my hand I remembered a card I had seen elsewhere which used said punch as baby bootees, so here is my take on it…I have used Kaisercraft Lullaby papers and a Martha Stewart punch, and some ribbon as well.Another hot day here in Adelaide – No crafting tonight , but I must pack my car ready for the market tomorrow, Til tomorrow….

Umbrella man…

I have put up 2 photos today, because I wanted to show the inside of this card. On the front I have used a cuttlebug embossing folder – clockworks, and 2 Tim Holtz sizzix dies – lampost and Umbrella man – I love him…..The clock face he is looking at is cut from a piece of Kaisercraft acrylic . I smudged a little distress ink along the bottom and on the light, and there is a circle die cut frame which was handily on my craft table at the time….For the inside I printed a favourite quote and the paper backing is kaisercraft Timeless. The cardstock used today is C’oredinations. I have had a very productive day in the craft room today, and have planned out my lessons for March at Paper Flourish, and set up the February lesson for the Village ladies.Makes up for all the time spent away from my room because of the heat.Til tomorrow….

Lil Primrose 4

This is the final card in my Lil Primrose series ( for now – I will make more with this paper at a later time…) and I used the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables from the same kaisercraft range. I added a little ribbon and some lovely lace at the edge of this one. Where has today gone? I spent over three hours sorting out my market boxes for this Sunday, and the time just disappeared! I am going to spend the rest of the afternoon in the craft room, it is still hot here in Adelaide, but I can only stay away from that room for so long! Nathan and I spent some time this morning taking photos of cards so will have some different ones to show over the next couple of weeks… Til tomorrow…

Lil Primrose 3

here is the third card in my Kaisercraft Lil primrose series – 1 more after this one and then we will move on – The images on this card were fussy cut from one of the 12 x 12 sheets from the same range, the cardstock was stampin Up pink pirouette, and no ribbon or bling tonight! Another hot day in Adelaide today, this is getting monotonous now…. probably no crafting tonight…Til tomorrow…

Lil Primrose 2

Kaisercraft Lil Primrose 6″ pad and matching collectables, a martha Stewart punch, a bit of ribbon, and stampin Up daffodil Delight cardstock for tonights cute girly card. A couple of posts ago I asked for a little help naming a martha stewart punch that I used to make a very lacy rosette – the lovely Carole has e-mailed to let me know it was  a martha stewart deep edge punch called Linked Trim. I am very grateful – thank you Carole.Another  very hot day here in Adelaide so another evening will go by with no crafting done – when its this hot all you can do is sit under the air conditioner. I am a bit frustrated as I am in the middle of designing some shaped cards for next months lesson and if I don’t get these ideas out they will drive me mad or worse… I will forget them….Til tomorrow…

Lil Primrose

One of kaisercrafts releases for this month is a pretty girly range called Lil Primrose – it reminds me a little bit of Holly Hobby ( remember them?) and this is one of the cards I have created from the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables. I die cut the circles from cardstock, and just added a ribbon. It is another very hot day in Adelaide today, almost too hot for crafting – the glue dries before I have a chance to stick anything with it! Til tomorrow….

A bargain find….

We are still using kaisercraft sweet nothings paper, I think this is actually number 10! Here I have  used the 6″ pad and matching collectables, a maya stick pin, stampin up seam binding and my bargain find of last month – a bit from a broken necklace. Last time I was at the market the stall holder next to me was a lady with various antiques. She had some great old photos and postcards, but what took my eye was the tin of broken jewellry . I had a good look through it and bought a few pieces for a small amount and on this card is a bit of one of the broken necklaces .Whenever we are out ,if I see a little junk shop I always make sure I pop in cos you never know when you are going to hit the bargain goldmine!Old lace trim, buttons, even old book plates, postcards, etc….Great fun… Today I am in the craft room playing with my new tim holtz vintage car and umbrella man dies, and having great fun.. Til tomorrow…

A different folded flower…

Todays card has a new technique on it – The flower is made  with a martha stewart strip punch, and I have thrown the packaging away and can’t remember what its called – maybe someone can help out there- I punched the length of a 12 x 12 papeterned paper and folded it accordian style, just like we do for the sizzix rosetttes, and popped a kaisercraft sparklet in the middle. these are easy to make and are more delicate that the rosettes. The papers used on the card are kaisercraft sweet nothings, I also used  my sizzix leaf die, Stampin up greeting stamp – Well Scripted, spellbinders labels 17, martha stewart butterfly punch and a little ribbon. Til tomorrow….

-edit… I have since been told that the martha stewart punch I used to create the lacy rosette is a deep edge punch called Linked Trim. thank you Carole for the Info.

Sweet Nothings 8 ..I think…

I have certainly enjoyed using this range from kaisercraft – Sweet Nothings.. and this is a favourite although tomorrows card is also a favourite. This one uses the 6″ pad, and my Nestabilities label 17 dies through my cuttlebug. I have added a little bird from the collectables from the same range and a gorgeous chocolate ribbon. The greeting stamp is from Stampin Up – Well scripted. another favourite and well inked stamp!Tonight I will be found in my craft room creating Wedding cards… Til tomorrow…..
