I put this card together from scraps of Kaisercraft Bonjour patterned paper. Because it was for my sisters wedding anniversary I didn’t want it too blingy – her hubby is not a blingy kind of guy – I see I can do unblingy when I try, but gee it was difficult! Day off tomorrow, so after a visit to paper flourish to set up januarys lesson, I will be found in the craft room – Yay!! Til tomorrow….
Garden gala
Todays card was made using Websters pages Garden gala paper, with the addition of some flowers,a leaf , bling flourish and a bit of lace. I added some layering, and there you are, a card with a bit of a vintage feel! Very busy at work with 6 am starts, so a bit tired in the evenings, and not much crafting happening through the week. Bit sad…. til tomorrow….
A clutch of xmas cards….
Here is another group of christmas cards, this time using Kaisercraft december 25th 6″ pad and I believe a sheet or two of 12 x 12. Just added ribbon and kindyglitz. I had to go and check which kaisercraft range this was, and see that I have quite a bit left, and I’m quite tempted to make a few more, although I am sure I am done with xmas but I have been working on a simplified triple easel card which I think I have perfected and this paper would be perfect – maybe when Nathan gets his camera back I will turn it into a video clip to show it off! Til tomorrow…..
A group of three xmas cards
O.K. Now I thought I was finished showing my Melissa Francis Deck the halls christmas cards but I found this group of three in one of my photo files. I am pretty sure this is it….. I just added ribbon. I did get my moneys worth out of this 6″ pad didn’t I? The seam binding is from Stampin Up. I bought the roll of vanilla because I will colour it with my re – inkers to match my projects. Speaking of which, I have cleared the three projects I was working on so now I will get back to replenishing my market boxes, but I won’t have enough for a december market date. Til tomorrow…..
Flowers I had to have….
I saw these flowers, and although they were a little more than I usually pay for flowers I had to have them, so this will be a special card that goes into my box for special birthdays ( probably Mums) . The paper is believe it or not – Melissa Francis Deck the Halls , so this could have been included in the series below, and the cardstock is stampin Up basic black. I used a spellbinders die for the frame and a tim holtz die for the acetate bird which does’nt show too well in the photo. I just added ribbon. today I have broken my rule of finishing one project before starting another and have three different projects on the go so I am now off to complete a couple of them before my brain explodes! Til tomorrow….
Deck the Halls 5
This is the fifth and final card in my Melissa Francis Deck the halls series. I just added ribbon, liquid pearls and a xmas charm. I hope you have enjoyed seeing this series as much as I enjoyed making them – beautiful paper to work with. Tomorrow we will have something completely different, and no xmas related at all! Til tomorrow….
Deck the Halls 4
This is number 4 in my Melissa Francis deck the halls series. Only one more to go after this one! I just added ribbon and lace. These cards just make themselves – Don’t you love it when you sit down with a paper collection, and before you know it you have made a dozen cards? It doesn’t happen often to me but when it does ( Like last night) it’s the greatest feeling! I will show last night efforts when Nathan has time to photograph my cards. His camera is still being fixed so we have to rely on my little camera.Til tomorrow…..
Deck the halls 3
Deck the halls 2
This one is a favourite – Melissa francis deck the halls paper, ribbon, lace and a charm! The stockings are punched with the Stampin Up stocking punch. This punch is great for using all those strips of scrap paper and the end result is great too. Tonight if I get a chance I am going to create some birthday cards, as my boxes are still empty from my last market visit Til tomorrow…..
Deck the Halls
This paper and element sheet is from melissa Francis, called Deck the Halls. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, and although I said no more xmas purchases I had to buy this 6″ pad and a sheet of elements. So easy to put these cards together and i will show a few more over the next few days.Sorry I missed yesterdays post, but hubby wasn’t well, and early post today as its shopping night tonight, and as I didn’t shop last week the cupboards are looking quite empty! I have cleared my craft table of anything xmas related, and am ready to move on! Til tomorrow…..
