Velvet Ensemble

I made this card using a sizzix huge die to cut the cardstock – great with a die because it takes all the hassle out of measuring. I used the die over at Paper flourish, its too big to go through a standard machine. The papers I used were Velvet Ensemble by Kaisercraft. These papers are great for mens cards. Quite a busy day at the market today, and I’m going to skip next month so that I can refresh all my boxes. Til tomorrow…..

Pink Gelato

Todays card was made using Pink Gelato paper from Kaisercrafts most recent collection. I also used some kaisercraft dewdrops, and rhinestones and fussy cut some of the flowers from another sheet of paper in the collection. I added an acrylic printed butterfly from Elements collection. Its been a lovely day here in Adelaide, so not much crafting, and lots of sitting in the sun! Til tomorrow…..

Blossom Party

Todays card uses Graphic 45 Once upon a springtime patterned papers, stampin up bird punch, and stampin up sizzix dies – leaves and Blossom Party. I also used bazzil cardstock, and a big rhinestone brad, and some lace. I had a totally different card in mind when I started this one, but it kind of took over!Tonight will be some baby cards to go in the market boxes. Til tomorrow…

A bit Different..

Kay -remember that book you gave me? Look what I did with it! Really- this was a book that my sister Kay was going to throw out because it had been misbound, and there were chapters missing, so I took it off her hands and have been playing today with my Stampin Up flower die cut and distress ink and I’m really pleased with the results. I layered it up quite  a bit, but you can cut quite a few pages at a time, and its actually quite quick to make. Its held together with a Stampin up vintage brad in the centre. Now I’m off to put it on a card. Til tomorrow….

Birds and Butterflies

Another card using Megs garden – French garden collection. I used my serenade cricut cartridge to cut the birdcage, and a variety of stampin up stamps for the butterflies, which I then sponged with a variety of inks. I also used some perfect pearls ( my new find – it saves on buying stick on pearls, I love it). Til tomorrow…..

Toy box collection

This little bike is so similar to one my youngest sister had when she was little – I love it! The paper and stickers are from Crate Paper ( Toy box collection) and the cardstock was stampin up. I used some red buttons and a bit of cotton too. Today I’ve been stocking up my boxes, as its Market day on Sunday, the weeks are flying .It feels like I was just there not so long ago. This is possibly my last day down at Pooraka Market, as they have increased the price of the stall spaces, so I’m looking around at other alternatives. Til tomorrow….

Pink Gelato

What an ordeal it has been to do tadays post! Nathan backed up the computer, and I can’t find anything, it took me half an hour just to locate my photo files. Very frustrating. Anyway, todays card is made using Kaisercrafts new papers – Pink Gelato. These papers are made up of lovely soft colours, and make a change to the bright papers I have been using recently. I also used the matching stickers, and a bit of lace and kaisercraft rhinestones. Til tomorrow….

Vintage

I fell in love with this paper pack  ( French collection) from Megs Garden, and it went so well with my new stamp set from oxford impressions – Regency collection. I also used stampin up cardstock, liquid pearls, lace and a kaisercraft pearl brad. I’ve been busy making football team themed cards, as I have finally found a football player stamp. Its by papermania, and has quite a few different sports in it, but so far I’ve only used the football player ( well I think he’s a rugby player, but you really can’t tell the difference.) Til tomorrow….

Stampin Up sailboat with cuttlebug

Todays card didn’t photo too well – the silver embossing on the boat gave Nathan a big headache, so this one looks better in real life! I used coredinations cardstock for the cuttlebug embossing and then lightly sanded it. I also used stampin up cardstock, and a couple of brads. I am officially on holiday now, so plan to catch up on some sleep, do some reading, cleaning out of cupboards, and of course lots of cardmaking! Til tomorrow….

Embedded embossing with cuttlebug

Today I taught my class over at Paper Flourish, and it was all about embedded embossing, and this is one of the cards we created. The Heart is glued onto the card and then run through ths cuttlebug, which gives a great embedded effect. I used the devine swirls cuttlebug folder, and cuttlebug hearts die.I also used shiny silver cardstock, and a bit of white ribbon to hide the seam, and finish off the card. This afternoon I have been coming up with some ideas for my village lesson in a week or so, and must get back to it now, til tomorrow…..
