Madeline Mothers Day

I’m back! My husband and I went away to robe for Easter, and had a lovely relaxing time, with lots of walks, and fresh air, and a little cardmaking thrown in – it actually took me longer to pack my craft bag than my suitcase of clothes! Meanwhile my techie son was working on my computer, and quite a few things have changed – the keyboard, the mouse, and I think I have windows 7 now. Its taking a little getting used to, and I can’t find where he has put some things, but I’ll get there! Todays card uses Prima Madeline collection papers and stickers ‘ a prima flower and a kaisercraft swirl. This week will be a lot of Mothers day cards on the blog – I didn’t know I made and photographed so many. Til tomorrow……

Prima Madeline

Another Mothers day card using Prima Madeline patterned paper and die cut stickers, ribbon and some double layered lace. I fell in love with this lace when I saw it in the shop, and had to have it It works well with this style of card.Hope you are all enjoying our extended break – til tomorrow…..

Card in a Card

I call this design a card in a card. Really easy to do  and looks quite effective. I used Kaisercraft Loire valley patterned paper which I found in the bottom of a drawer when I was having a tidy up, Bazzil cardstock, and a length of ribbon.Quick post today, Til tomorrow….

Powerful Mother!

Todays card is another Mothers day card – thats all I seem to be making just now! I used Prima Sparkling springtime patterned papers, and a prima pebble, and a kaisercraft rub-on. The cardstock today was Bazzil and a bit of kindyglitz finished it off. I hope you are all enjoying your Easter break and enjoying lots of crafting! Til tomorrow…..

Male card

Todays card is a good generic design for those difficult male cards. I have used graphic 45 patterned paper  ( a proper Gentleman) ,Stampin up Not quite Navy cardstock, and stars cut on my cricut machine. I have gone through all my cartridges, but have not been able to identify which cartridge I used, so sorry! If anyone can tell me please let me know!Til tomorrow….

Shaped Cards

Todays cards use my new Cricut cartridge – Wild Cards. This is a great cartridge as it cuts all sorts of shaped cards, but as usual I haven’t had time to really play with it yet. However I have managed to make these two cupcake cards with it. I also used assorted stampin Up cardstock, and lots of glitter and bling!Til tomorrow…..

Retirement Card

Tonights card uses Stampin Up cardstock – Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive, retired patterned paper and the little flower stamp from the Bliss set. The chair and umbrella were fussy cut from Kaisercraft Seaside paper. Tonight I have a couple of orders to do, but I really haven’t been in the craft room much this week, so I’m looking forward to a couple of peaceful hours! Til tomorrow….

Sparkling springtime Mothers Day

Another Mothers day card! This time using Prima Sparkling springtime paper, and pebble, and Kaisercraft rub-on and bling. I also used stampin up cardstock – Melon mambo. 1 card 5 colourways!

Tonights group of cards were done for an order – my lady wanted the same card, with 5 different colours. Stampin up Elements of style stamp set was perfect for this, and it was quite an interesting project. I used stampin up cardstock, and a little ribbon and a bit of Kindyglitz. I coloured the stamped images with stamp pads and an aquabrush ( my favourite way of colouring images) . I think I like the orange one best – what do you think? Til tomorrow……

Easter Cards

Todays cards are the 3 cards my ladies made in my class on Friday. We used white cardstock, and bazill cardstock, some edges punched with a martha stewart punch. The easter Eggs were cut from a piece of Kaisercraft Bubblegums hills paper, and the floral strip and baskets were cut from a piece of Kaisercraft Nanna’s Kitchen. The baskets were run through a crimper. we also used a Stampin up greeting stamp – Well Scripted, and a little piece of ribbon.I’m back in the craft room today making more Mothers day cards but I can see light at the end of the tunnel, and think I will soon be able to move onto something different! Til tomorrow…..
