New cuttlebug design no.2

This is the second card I made using the recipe set out in the previous post. I used Stampin Up cardstock, and Oxford Impressions  stamps for the seaweed and Fish. I really like the effect of this technique, and when I get some free creating time I am going to experiment further with this one! Post in a rush tonight as I am off to a Teachers night in over at Paper Flourish, and I am so looking forward to it! Til tomorrow…..

New cuttlebug card

Todays card is the new design I was working on the other day.I have used attorted stampin up cardstock and my circle nestabilities to make an assortment of different coloured and sizes of circles and then randomly stuck them onto more cardstock before placing the whole lot into an embossing folder and ran it through the cuttlebug. I used a stampin up embossing folder but I also tried it with the swiss dots folder and the effect was just as good. it’s as if the circles are printed onto the cardstock- you’d never guess they were stuck on – you will have to try it to see what I mean! You could use this technique with all kinds of shapes – stars, flowers etc.. I’ll show you another one tomorrow Til then…..

A special Mothers day card

Todays card is a special one I made for my mum for her birthday this month, but it could also be done for Mothers Day. I used My minds eye ‘lush’ pack for the paper which is flocked, and the ribbon, Black stampin Up cardstock, kaisercraft bling and rub on, and Bo bunny Gabrielle brads for the butterfly. Tonight I will be packing my bag ready for my lesson tomorrow at Paper Flourish. It’s always exciting going into that shop to see all the new bits and pieces! Til tomorrow…..

Owl Punch and balloons!

Girl Baby Tee

Todays card is the girl version of  a design I did for baby boys using my Stampin Up jumbo baby tee wheel. I rolled it out onto Pink Piroutte cadstock and then cut out 3 of the rompers for the card. I also used pretty in pink and whisper white cardstock. I ran the white through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder. and added a ribbon. Thats it! Looking forward to getting into the craft room tonight, as yesterday was a non crafting day, and I’m missing it! Til tomorrow…..

Game Controller card

Todays card is one I have fallen back on a few times for those tricky teen boy cards. I used Websters Pages letter stickers, Stampin Up and Bazzil cardstock , and I fussy cut the game controller and used brads for the buttons. Today has been one fof procrastination and putting things off, but after tea I am going to sit in the craft room and regain my mojo! Til tomorrow…..

A different fold

While I was cleaning up in my craft room,I came across this paper – Loire Valley – by Kaisercraft. I tried to do something a little bit different with it,  and this is what I came up with. It’s quite effective, and I’ll do some more cards using this fold. The cardstock is Stampin Up and Bazzill. I managed a few more Mothers day cards today, but still not enough, and April is a big birthday month in our family, so I must get on to those as well. Til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 A proper Gentleman

Tonights card is a different look for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed coming up with this one, although I do still have trouble ripping paper! I used Graphic 45 A proper gentleman, Kaisercraft Rub-ons, Tim Holtz clock hands, and a scrap of script paper, ripped and inked. Lokking forward to a peaceful evening in my craft room, Til tomorrow…..

Bubblegum Hills

Todays cards were made using Kaisercrafts release for last month – Bubblegum Hills Paper and matching chipboard. This is great paper for teen girls, with lots of different designs in the one paper pad. I’ve been busy this week making Mothers day cards, but tonight I’m going to do some stamping with my new Bo bunny stamps and papers, just for a change! I have also got an idea for a new cuttlebug card design which I’m going to try out. Til tomorrow…..
