Bubblegum Hills cards

Tonights cards are a couple I made using Kaisercraft Bubblegum Hills collection. I also used the chipboard pieces that are in the same collection, and Stampin Up cardstock. This collection is great for teen girl cards, and the colours are great. I’ve been playing with kaisercrafts new range Lullaby, I only bought the 6″ pad, but the papers in it have all you need to make complete cards, I just added some buttons. I’ve made 6 cards so far, and haven’t even scratched the surface! I love pads like this – such value for money. It may be a little while before I get them photoed and posted, I have a backlog of photos to post – I must have been a bit creative lately!Til tomorrow…..

Baby Girl Card

For a bit of a change I thought I would post a baby card today. I used Stampin Up cardstock in Pink pirouette, blushing bride and whisper white, and the stamp is from Stampin Up Punch bunch. The ribbon is from my craft supply, and I used my cuttlebug and swiss dots folder to emboss the background.Quick post today as its shopping night ,so til tomorrow…..

Prima Madeline

todays card is the first I made with my new Prima Marketing “Madeline ” papers. So easy to use, and just added a bit of lace and ribbon,so another card to pop into my Mothers day box! Had a lovely afternoon over at Kays, and played with her chalks, learning a lot of new techniques with them, so will spend a bit of time this evening practising. Til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 Curtain call

I found this paper (graphic 45 Curtain call) while browsing at my craft shop, and I could see straight away that it wouldn’t take much to make some cards out of it. I’ve only used 2 pieces of paper, and some metallic gold and Stampin Up basic black to make these. Today Ive been making Mothers day cards with the new range of kaisercraft papers – Chantreuse, but I’m ready to move on now, and look at my new Prima paper. Til tomorrow…..

Echo Park springtime take 3

This is the next group of cards made using my 4 sheets of Echo Park springtime collection. I also used stampin up cardstock, Kaisercraft bling and a stamp it stamp (just for you), and the candles were stamped with a stamp from a stampin Up set and cut out. The thing I loved about these papers was they didn’t need a lot of products and although the papers had a lot of different colours and patterns they still went together perfectly. Today I was over at Paper flourish setting up my May lesson, and really splurged on a lot of new paper collections. I got the new kaisercratf ranges, new Prima (2 differnt collections) and the new Bo bunny collection . All gorgeous – so much new paper, so little time! You all know what I will be doing tonight! Til tomorrow….

Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad

Happy 55th Anniversary mum and dad. I know Dad checks my blog to see what I’m up to, so i hope you remembered to take Mum out to lunch! I recently had great fun creating a series of cards that represented shop fronts, so with this card I turned the view to the outside! I created the window by die-cuting rectangles out of some cardstock and putting some acetate behind for the window glass. The picture was one I found in an old frame Kay ( my sister) gave me, and the curtains were created with Docrafts Hanoverian Linen paper. The flowers were from Magnolia. I didn’t make it too fussy, as dad has made it quite clear that he prefers plainer cards! If I had realised that 55 years was an Emerald anniversary before I made the card, there would have been a bit more green featured! Til tomorrow…..

Farmers market & oxford impressions

This one is a favourite at the moment. I used the new Websters pages Farmers Market paper and letter stickers, and my trusty Oxford impressions Truck stamp from the Farm Boy collection. The cardstock was Stampin up Crumbcake, and the embossing folder was also from Stampin Up which I ran through my cuttlebug. You get a lovely deep impression from this folder and its great on mens cards.I stamped the truck in Stampin Up chocolate chip and cut it out, and stuck a bit of the patterned paper on the side of it.  A bit more card making tonight, til tomorrow….

Springtime take 2

This is the second group in my set of cards using just 4 sheets of Echo Park springtime papers. I used Stampin Up cardstock, kaisercraft bling, and the Woderful Mother stamp was from Stampin Up Well scripted, The butterflies were stamped and cut out using a stamp from stampin up Bliss ( a great set) and the Just for you stamp was from stamp it. I’m hoping to get into my craft room tonight after an absence of a couple of days – my fingers are getting itchy! Til tomorrow….
