Echo Park Springtime

I recently bought 4 pieces of the new Echo Park springtime collection papers, and out of those 4 pieces of patterned paper I made 13 cards! I have photographed them in groups of three, and over the next few days I will intersperse them in my blog. The papers were good , one sheet had  elements , rectangle shapes that I could stamp greetings on to, and another sheet had 4 different designs in 6″ sizes, so there was a lot of variety in colours and designs just in those 4 sheets. Today was market day, and a very busy day it was! I spoke to lots of fellow cardmakers and we swapped lots of ideas and information. A lot of ladies had already visited my blog so it was lovely to meet some of you. A question that I have been asked  frequently lately is where  fellow crafters can buy Stampin Up. Stampin Up is not available in shops, you buy it through demonstraters. My sister is a stampin Up demonstrater, and that is where I get all my stampin Up gear from! Kays blog can be reached by clicking on her name over there on the right of my site.If you email her through her blog she will organise posting you a catalogue.Anyway I have come home from the market with some empty boxes, so that gives me something to do for the next month! Til t6omorrow…..

Cricut Forever young

I’m excited to show todays card because I had such fun making it. It reminded me of when I was little playing with those paper dress up dolls! I used my Cricut with the forever young cartridge, and Kaisercraft peachy keen patterned paper ( which went so well together) and the cardstock was stampin Up Early espresso.I have spent most of today getting my boxes ready for the market tomorrow, but have managed to do a bit of creating, and nathan got the camera out and we’ve done a bit of photo -ing too. Til tomorrow…..

Avairy Stamps

Now straight away I have to say I got the inspiration for this card from www.astampingjourney.wordpress.com. In particular I loved the idea of sponging through an oval punch off cut to ground the birdcage. I have added a few of my own touches, and removed some design concepts from the original, but the colours used are the same. I used Stampin Up rich razzleberry and pretty in pink cardstock, and Avairy and Cheep talk ( for the sentiment) stamp sets.I also used a Stampin Up embossing folder. Today has been a day of great excitement as my order from Ohmycrafts in America came today so I have a new Cricut cartridge and 3 paper collections to play with! There is definitely not going to be enough hours in the day this weekend!Til tomorrow….

Spring Market

Todays card uses the new collection from websters pages. thats all i used on this card! I bought the whole collection, its got beautiful colours and some lovely patterned papers. I’ve only made a couple of cards with it so far, but hopefully after this weekend I will be able to find some time to do it justice! Til tomorrow….

Mainly Cuttlebug

Tonights card is a good one for those male cards that we all seem to struggle with. I used Stampin Up cardstock – Not quite Navy, and Coredinations cardstock which I embossed and sanded. The greeting is a stampin Up stamp from the punch Bunch collection which I stamped and punched. I also used a Fiskars star punch and an arrow cut from an unknown scrap of paper. Tonight I’m looking forward to making a few new cards, I’ve been sitting jotting down some ideas in my sketch book, something I have just started doing  so we’ll see how it works! Til tomorrow…..

Fairy cards

Todays cards uses Kaisercraft magic happens papers and Stampin up cardstock. These papers don’t need any further embellishment except for a little Kindyglitz. I haven’t done any cards for my market boxes this week, as I have had a lot of orders, and its market weekend this weekend, so hopefully I get some done, but not tonight as I have another order to do! Its a boys 18th tonight, which always tests my creativity! Til tomorrow….

Jungle Bug

I have had this range of paper – Kaisercraft Jungle Bug – for quite a while, and have used a lot of it, but in my attempt to clear some space in my paper drawers the other week, I got it out again and made these two cards. As usual the cardstock is Stampin Up – you just can’t beat it for colour matching and thickness . Quick post tonight as its shopping night! til tomorrow…..

Born to Shop

I bought this collection, by Docrafts, a few weeks ago, and haven’t had time to play with it yet, but quickly made up this card as it tickled my funny bone! Inside there is one of the girls swinging from a chandelier and the caption “you know too much” . I used Stampin Up cardstock, and the patterned paper , chipboard pieces and stickers that came with the set. The stamps are great too, and quite funny, so hopefully I’ll get some more cards done with them soon.A wet day here in adelaide so a lovely day for crafting, and I’ve made quite a few Mothers day cards today. Til tomorrow…..

Butterfly Card

This is one of the cards I taught in my class yesterday. Here I have used Stampin Up cardstock and Bazzil (white) , cuttlebug swiss dots folder and Kaisercraft pearls. The butterfly die is by Marianne designs and it took a little experimenting to use it in the cuttlebug, but I have discovered that along with a c and b plate I also have to use a piece of thick cardstock as a shim to get it to cut through properly. Now thats sorted it’s a little beauty!Til tomorrow…..

Just Stamping!

Its not often I do a card that is purely stamping, but this stamp from Stamps Happen Inc is so huge that its all you can fit on a card. As soon as I saw it in the shop I knew it had to be mine! I combined Stampin Up Not quite Navy, naturals Ivory and real red cardstock, and also used Oxford impressions stamps In the deep ( for the anchor and little starfish.) I coloured it with stamp pads and an aquabrush and did a little sponging too.I 3d’d the lighthouse. Today I taught my class,a nd a good time was had by all – especially me – I love my ladies! Tonight I will have the house to myself  so I will get on with a few orders. Til tomorrow…..
