Tonights collection is from Kaisercraft Hey Birdie collection, which was one of the first collections I ever bought. Before that I would just buy sheets of paper as they appealed to me. I soon realised the benefits of buying a whole collection that was prematched for me! The end of a working week for me tonight, so a few days of creating stretching in front of me – Bliss! Candy Lane
Continuing on with my project to whittle down my stack of patterned paper I returned to Kaisercraft Candy Lane Collection for these cards. As usual the cardstock is Stampin Up. I love the colours on this paper and they are always very popular cards. I have lost count of the number of cards I have made out of this one paper pad and chipboard pieces and glittery teapot paper! Miss you
Todays card is almost a direct copy of a card in the Stampin Up Ideas catalogue. I used Stampin Up cardstock – Baja Breeze, and very Vanilla, the Avairy stamp set, and asorted inkpads. I also used the cuttlebug swiss dots folder, and an old miss you stamp I had in my craft supply. Don’t you love the look on the owls face? He looks totally out of his depth amongst those fancy little birds! Til tomorrow…..
Just Add Layers!
Todays card really just makes good use of layers, and I didn’t need to add too much else. I used Bazzil cardstock, Martha stewart punches, a scrap of lace, and I gold embossed a stamp I have had for years. The computer is really playing up tonight, and my techie isn’t here, so please forgive any mistakes as I can’t go back and view before i post. Til tomorrow…..
Blessed Mother take 2
Blessed Mother stamps
This cute little flower stamp is my favourite at the moment, and I love the script that comes in the set. I used Papermania Hanoverian Linen paper, and stampin Up cardstock – crumbcake, and riding hood red. I coloured the image with my stamp pads and an aqua brush, and added a little bit of lace to finish. Its the end of the working week for me, and I’m looking forward to a nice long weekend, with plenty of time to plan some lessons, and try out new techniques, so a bit of blog hopping for new ideas is on the cards too! Til tomorrow…..
