The paper I used on todays card is from Websters Pages ( a favourite) Hollywood vogue. I also used a prima flower, lace and kaisercraft pearls.I have been busy today setting up my March lesson at paper flourish, and while I was there I picked up a lovely big new stamp of a lighthouse scene, so now I am busy colouring! Til tomorrow…..

I used Stampin Up cardstock – Blushing Bride, Basic Grey patterned paper – Porcelain, a Kaisercraft stamp, nestabilities dies – Oval, and a ribbon bow. Quick post tonight as I have to go pack my bag as I am over at Paper Flourish tomorrow setting up for my next class.I’m looking forward to having a look at the new paper collections, and although I tell myself I won’t buy anything, you can be sure I won’t leave there empty handed!Til tomorrow….
Flights of Fancy
Â
The title of todays post is taken from the name of the Prima range of papers that I used – Flights of fancy.I also used stampin Up cardstock – Marina Mist, Asst flowers, Kaisercraft pearls, and Magnolia teardrop fewels. I fussy cut the butterfly out of the prima paper.Today I have been revisiting some old papers to try and clear a bit of space in my drawers, so that I can justify buying new stock ! I will continue on with this for the rest of todayand should have some good photos to take tomorrow. Til tomorrow…..
Cuttlebug card No.2
I titled this one cuttlebug card because thats the only tool I used to make this card. Quick and easy. The colours came into my head and wouldn’t go away until I had done something with them! I used Yellow bazill cardstock and Poppy Parade Stampin up cardstock. The emboss folder is swiss dots, and the Butterfly is a new die from marianne designs. In the corner I put assorted flowers,Magnolia jewels on a silver stem, and Kaisercraft pearls. Today I have spent clearing my orders, so all up to date! Til tomorrow…..
Magic happens No. 5
This is the last card in this series that I have made. I will revisit this paper, but not for a while. I received my latest Stampin Up order from Kay today, and I have 5 new stamp sets to play with! Great excitement! Anyway back to todays card – the cardstock is Stampin Up night of navy, and the paper is Kaisercraft Magic happens, which I fussy cut for the Fairy and butterfly. Great paper and so easy to work with . A busy day over at the village today, all the ladies were organised, and they even had dedicated insert cutters, inserters, and baggers ( lovingly nicknamed bag ladies!) We had a great time with them all as usual, and although I left before the final count ( where do they get their energy from), I believe it was in the region of 150 cards for the troops. Well done ladies! Til tomorrow…..
Stamped Birthday
Todays card is the first card I’ve stamped for a while, and I found I’d missed this technique, so now that I’m on holidays I’m hoping to do a bit more of it. The cardstock and papers are Stampin Up, and the stamp is a little single stamp put out by Kaisercraft. Very cute. I stamped it onto metallic card with stazon, and coloured it with my stampin up ink pads and an aqua brush. Today was my lesson over at paper flourish, and the ladies and I had a lovely time. Now i’m going into my craft room for a long session of cardmaking to try and catch up on some things that I’ve been too busy to do, and of course dig out some bits and pieces to take to our marathon cardmaking day tomorrow. I’ll be able to tell you how many Mothers day cards we are sending off tomorrow. Til then….
Get well soon
Tonights card is one I made for a friend at work. I used Stampin Up cardstock and a variety of assorted flowers ,bling swirls, kaisercraft pearls, diecut butterfly and butterfly punch. Tonight I must pack my bag for my class tomorrow, and sort out some cardstock etc for our big Mothers day cards for the troops marathon that we are running over at the retirement village on Saturday – Its all go this weekend! Til tomorrow….
Easter Card
Now, I know it feels like we just got over xmas, but I’ve been working on some ideas for Easter cards for my class, and thought I would share this one with you. I used stampin up cardstock – Basic grey and Pretty in Pink, and stampin up designer paper – walk in the Park. The crocheted doily and brilliant brad are from Kaisercraft, and the stamp was free on the front of a magazine. I glittered his tummy and ears, which caused a bit of a snow storm in my new craft room as the air conditioning duct is above my table, and I just didn’t think….I’m off now to do some creating. I haven’t done any crafting for the last couple of nights, and I’ve got itchy fingers.Til tomorrow….
Magic Happens No. 4
Card in a Card!
Three views of the same card today, because I wanted you to see how this one was constructed. Its quite easy, just a fair bit of layering. I used Bazil cardstock for the pink, and Stampin Up cardstock for the green, and the paper is Kaisercraft English Rose. The only other thing needed was a length of ribbon to tie it all together.I quite like this style, and I  have done a few with different papers now. Market day today, a lot of stalls, quite a few people, and the time flew, but tired now, so I’ll cook tea and very early bed tonight! Til tomorrow….
