For tonights card I have used Kaisercraft Devonshire Tea patterned paper, and rhinestones. I also used a Martha stewart punch and a Prima flower. The smaller flowers are made with more patterned paper and a sizzix die which cuts the flower shape into a spiral and then you roll it up. I love this! I have only played with it up at the shop, but I have one on order, and will get so much use out of it. It cuts in two sizes, and the ones I made were the smaller size.I am putting together a folder of card ideas for my lessons, so tonight I am going to be working on some more samples for it.Til tomorow….
Curio
Another card tonight using the new Basic Grey Curio range. Here I have also used a chipboard bird from Kaisercraft which I coloured using my Tim Holtz inkpads and sponge on a handle thingy. The acetate bird in the corner is from Elements collection. today I spent the afternoon planning out a couple of classes, and this year I plan to be a lesson or two ahead, with my retirement village ladies anyway.Til tomorrow….
Basic Grey Curio
Todays card uses another favourite set of designer papers – Basic grey. this one is from the new range called Curio, and I have combined it with stampin Up cardstock – early espresso, and a K & Co chipboard sticker from Susan winget. I spent this afternoon over at Mums making tags for my xmas pressies, and I think I can honestly say I am finished with xmas! ( The creative making stuff anyway) Til tomorrow….
Websters Pages card
I had a good day today over at paper flourish taking my class. We always have good fun, but today was a little different because we had no power for the first hour but that didn’t stop us although we could have used some candles! Tonights card uses bazzill cardstock, Websters Pages patterned paper ,and bling ,lace, ribbon, and flower from my craft supply. Tonight I am going to sit and really create. Til tomorrow…..
Stampin Up Owl Punch
Finally I have had time to play with my owl punch. There are many variations of this card on blogs throughout the land, and this is my take, although I have noticed that my little owl holding the balloons has a wing problem. That half circle was folded back to make a quarter circle for his wing, but he appears to have had a mishap in the photographing process.I used Wild wasabi ,close to cocoa and poppy parade stampin up cardstock, and a cuttlebug woodgrain folder which I inked with choc chip stampin up inkpad. I used various other punches and circle dies, some string and wobbly eyes to finish. I must go and pack my bag for tomorrows class, so til tomorrow…..
Vintage Garden
Tonights Card uses Stampin Up Cardstock – Bravo Burgandy, and Prima patterned paper – Pastiche “Vintage Graden” (absolutely gorgeous paper!) The little bird is from Websters pages Natures storybook die cut sticker sheet. The butterfly is fussycut from Prima “Flights of Fancy Miss pretty”and I finished off with some kaisercraft pearls. I made my 10 xmas cards for my order last night, and have packed up the xmas gear now, but have just realised I will have to unpack it all to make my gift tags!I think tonight will just be a t.v. viewing night as I am still flat out at work, and a bit tired. Til tomorrow…..
Happy 80th birthday
Websters pages male card
An earlier than usual post today, but I had a very late night last night, and I’m off to have a nap, and may not get a chance to blog later, so here I am. Todays card is made with stampin Up cardstock – Baja Breeze, and stampin up greeting stamps and the patterned paper is Websters pages, one of my favourite paper companies! I have finished with xmas cards, and packed up all my xmas bits and pieces. I’m now moving on and thinking about Mothers Day. Last year I made 80 Mothers day cards, and I expect those numbers wont change this year, so I plan to do a few a week starting now! Til tomorrow….
Organic grace stamps
Continuing on with my practising of creating my own backgrounds, I made this card using bazzil cardstock, secret bird society paper from Kaisercraft, and a Stampin Up stamp set – Organic Grace. Not much card making happening at all this week – work is busy, and I have been trying to finish my xmas shopping – one more pressie to go! Yay! Til tomorrow….
Organic Grace/ Every Moment
I’m a bit late with my post tonight because we have all been outside harvesting our cherry crop. It’s the first year we have saved them from the birds. We covered the whole tree in netting ( not easy as its so tall) and tonight it was decided the cherries were ready, so off with the nets, out with the ladder, and so it began! Everyone wanted to be the team leader, but eventually a pecking ( picking ) order was formed and now we have a fridge full of cherries. Lovely. Some of the potatoes were also dug up, so in all a very productive evening out in the garden.Tonights card was an experiment in shading my background with distress inks, and I used stampin Up stamps – Organic Grace and Every moment. The paper was kaisercraft secret bird society I also used a stampin Up vintage brad, and cardstock. No cardmaking tonight, a bit of T.V. and early bed. Til tomorrow…..
