Tonights card uses Stampin Up daffodil delight cardstock, and October afternoon Thriftshop patterned paper and Tree swing stamp.I stamped the image a couple of times, and fussy cut and pasted different elements. I like stamping like this, because I am still finding my niche in the colouring department. In the new year I would like to investigate copic markers but it is quite expensive to get started with them, so I might play around with the shop ones first. I do tend to reach for the ink pads and aqua brushes, so I think that is the technique I might concentrate on. What do you all colour your images with?Til tomorrow….
Art in Motion #2
Tonights card is my second play with my new art in Motion stamp from Happen Inc. This time I coloured the image with watercolour pencils instead of ink. I used stampin Up cardstock – Poppy parade, K&Co Lifes Journey Diecuts, a red ribbon, and I dyed the white lace with a couple of drops of re-inker in a mist it spray bottle.( A great way to match your lace to your project. Art in motion stamp
I came across this huge stamp when I was browsing in Paper flourish, and just had to have it. I used Stampin Up Naturals Ivory cardstock, and coloured it with Tim Holtz distress ink. the stamp is from happen Inc and is called Art in Motion. I also used a Prima button, and ribbon and lace from my supply. Yesterday I purchased some new kaisercraft English rose paper, and some new Seaside papers which I had planned to use to scrapbook my recent Robe holiday. Today I sat down to some serious cardmaking intending to use the English rose but instead used most of the seaside paper, so now I have to purchase more for my scrapbook!I never fails to amuse me that you can start off with one goal, and head in a totally different direction! Typewriter card
Tonights card uses Stampin Up Daffodil Delight as the base, and October Afternoon Thrift shop patterned paper and a Wild card on the front. I cut a slot in the typewriter image and thread a piece of paper through and stamped a greeting on it. I’ve been at Paper Flourish setting up my class and have seen lots of lovely new Kaisercraft papers…Not much card making this week as I’ve been so busy at work, so glad its the weekend,Til Tomorrow…
Wedding card
Tonights card was made using cream metallic cardstock, and a fussy cut heart which I embossed through the cuttlebug. The ribbons were from my craft supply, and the little crown charm was from Oxford Impressions. I’ve been thinking about my next card class, and what we are going to do. I am all out of ideas, I’ve been so busy at work that my creativity has drained out of me! Hopefully when I go in to the shop to set up my lesson on Friday something will come to me! Til Tomorrow….
Hollywood Vogue
Here is another card using the new Websters Pages Hollywood Vogue range. The Black cardstock is Stampin Up and I also used Websters pages fabric ribbon and Journalling card, and an image from Collections elements. I wrapped the ribbon around the paper, and slid the journalling card in between the paper and ribbon. You could substitute the card for a gift card! Tonight has to be more xmas cards, I thought I was finished but I have had a run on them, and with still a few weeks to go til the big day, I need to stock up a bit. Til tomorrow…..
Bobunny xmas
Tonights group of cards uses Bobunny’ s xmas paper – I told myself I didn’t need any more xmas paper but when I saw this sheet I just had to have it! It goes very well with Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler cardstock, and the music paper is from Tim Holtz Seasonal stash.I cut the images out of the paper. Today was Market day, and although there were quite a few people around, no-one was buying anything. I did alright, as my regulars all came to see me, but some stalls went home with all they came with!Anyway I will have a break from the market next month, and go back at the end of January. I can sort out my stock, and start fresh for the new year. Til tomorrow….
Shoe Card
Tonights card is an oldie but a goodie. I have made so many of these cards, but I wanted to show you this one because I have used the new Websters Pages patterned paper to make it. It’s called Hollywood Vogue, and perfect for teens. I also used black  and bazzil cardstock and silver/black ribbon.I have spent this afternoon making last minute cards for my boxes, but I’m ready to make a ‘me’ card now – thats a card thats not necessarily a popular card, but one that I love! Til tomorrow…..
Cuttlebug card
Tonight I thought I would show you a card I taught my ladies at a recent retirement village class. I wanted to show how you could make a card Just using your cuttlebug, and all the ladies were most impressed with the finished card! I used a sheet of metallic card, cuttlebug and embossing folders, and a butterfly die and a little piece of silver ribbon and pearls to finish. I have been organising my boxes for the market this weekend today, and just have a few cards to make tonight, and I will be organised! Til tomorrow….
We’ll Miss Ewe
I made tonights card for a loyal customer at work who has been visiting us almost daily for many years, but is moving to the country with her family, and we will miss her lots! She loved her card, and I enjoyed making it – just my style of card. I used stampin up cardstock – Green galore, and October Afternoon patterned paper.I fussy cut the sheep out of the paper. Tonight I am playing with my Websters pages patterned paper, still on my mission to reduce the ammount of patterned paper I am holding, as next months Kaisercraft papers are gorgeous, and I have to make room for them!Til tomorrow….
