Websters pages card

Really quick past tonight – I was on my way to bed when I realised I hadn’t done my post, so I have got a really quick and easy one for show and tell! Here I used Websters Pages patterned paper ( a favourite) and prima flowers, kaisercraft pearls and a martha stewart butterfly punch.Til tomorrow….

Vintage Birthday

I have been enjoying creating some vintage birthday cards. This one uses Stampin up cardstock – Blushing Bride, and newsprint designer paper. I also used Websters pages patterned paper, a photo image from Collections Elements, lace and prima flower and Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut stain. There is also a bit of an acetate transparency on there too! Well it’s been a very hot day here in adelaide today, and not much energy for anything, but I will sit tonight and play around with some patterned paper, I have told myself I have to use some of it up before I can buy more. Not sure if I will listen to myself ,in fact , pretty sure I won’t, but the thought is there!

Because I care

Tonight I have gone back to a stamp set I got recently, but haven’t played enough with! The cardstock is stampin up Pink piroutte, the paper is Stampin Up Walk in the park (retired), and the stamp set is Because I care. The lace is in my craft supply, and I also used Kaisercraft pearls.Tonight I will just finish off a couple of cards I have started, and then early night as I have a very early start for work tomorrow. Til tomorrow….

Welcome Baby

IHi all, this is the second time I have blogged tonight as just as I hit publish the whole computer system shut down so this time will be short and sweet. Here I have used white cardstock, Stampin Up designer paper – Elegant soiree, and I cut the pram using my Cricut. The ribbon is from my supply. Everyone out tonight, so I have cardmaking gear all over the dining table, and am having a ball! I’ve been trying some new things this week so hopefully will photos of that soon ! Til tomorrow….

Cricut Boot

Sorry about the title! I often have trouble coming up with original titles and ones that I haven,t used before, and have also discovered that if you are not really careful with your wording you can get some rather unsavoury people looking for more than cards on your site, so I’d rather be unoriginal and safe! For tonights card I used my cricut to cut out the boot, and used Stampin Up cardstock in Blushing Bride and black, bazzill cardstock, and cuttlebug and embossing folder. The bling, ribbon and lace were from my craft supply.Til tomorrow….

Sewing card

Tonights card is something completely different, but great fun to create. I used stampin Up cardstock in Daffodil Delight and Basic black  and October Afternoon patterned paper – The Thrift Shop. I used my Cricut to die cut the sewing machine and Lifes Journey Die cut from K&Co. The buttons  were from my supply. There is a bit of patterned acetate across the top. Tonight I thought I might make a couple of baby cards for my boxes, and then a bit of T.V. before an early night for an early start tomorrow morning. Til tomorrow….

Thinking of You

Tonights card uses Bazzill cardstock as the base, and Kaisercraft Secret Bird Society 6″ paper pad,and Kaisercraft wood flourishes – Birds. I inked the bird with Tim Holtz distress inks, and used a Stampin Up greeting stamp. The little butterfly was fussy cut out of the patterned paper.I really like this paper, and haven’t done nearly enough with it – maybe after xmas! I will sit and make a couple of cards tonight but I have bought a couple of new books ( A new Jeffrey Deaver – yay!!) so will be reading tonight!  Til tomorrow….

Corner Bookmarks

Tonight I thought I would show you my corner bookmarks. I made similar ones for the Stampin Up regional – swaps -. It is just a strip of cardstock 6cm by 21 cm folded in half and then folded again as if you were going to make a paper plane( like when we were kids!) stick down the seam, you will probably have to run a bit of ribbon or such  to hide the join, then flip it over and cut 2 squares in contrasting card or paper, 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm and 7×7 cms and mount on the front . Now you will be able to trim the excess length and decorate the front with your favourite stamp. Remember to keep it flat for longer wear! Hope that is explained clearly, if not drop me an e-mail and I will try again maybe with pictures!Meanwhile, I’m still doing xmas cards – next year I’m going to be more organised and spread out the making of them throughout the year! Til tomorrow….

Mariannes Card

Tonights card is one that I made for my boss Marianne. Happy Birthday Marianne! I used Stampin Up cardstock – basic black and Blushing Bride,a Europe transparency from collections elements, Prima Shabby chic paper collection- Sweets – kaisercraft pearls, ribbon and lace from my craft supply, Websters pages Cameo, and my cricut Heritage cartridge.  I missed my blog last night as I was over at the retirement village doing a cardmaking class, and as usual we had a great time, with lots of laughs.Tonight I am making shoe cards, and then more than likely back onto some xmas cards! Til tomorrow….
