Graphic 45 Time to Flourish 12 and 13 April….

IMG_0855 (Medium)two quick cards today made with graphic 45 Time to flourish april sheets. On the left, a lot of fussy cutting ( this is more than likely going to be Mums Mothers day card as she loves daffodils) and on the right a very quick and easy easter card., with a little nit of fussy cutting stuck around the image for a bit of interest!we are having power cuts on and off today, luckily we have been warned, but every time the power comes back on there is a mad rush to the computer! it’s amazing how reliant we have become on technology! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Time to Flourish ..April papers..

IMG_0857 (Medium)A very quick Easter card today, using Graphic 45 Time to Flourish April papers. This card didn’t need much extra at all – just a seam binding bow with a tiny flower, and the background layer punched with my Martha stewart Doily punch.A day of doctors today, Joe has his check up with the specialist after his knee operations, and then dad of to the local hospital for a cardiologist appt. Hopefully both get a clean bill of health. Til tomorow….

Graphic 45 Time to Flourish number 11 April..

IMG_0856 (Medium)Over the next couple of days I will post a few cards I made with Graphic 45 Time to celebrate, this time the two April sheets. I used a card front for this one, and did some fussy cutting, and just added a seam binding bow.In the craft room meanwhile I still have simple stories on the table ,left there from the weekend, and I am determined to finish all the bits and pieces I have left – so far I have made 25 cards with that paper ( not counting the 10 I have made for a class in may) .. I am inspired with that paper! til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Betsys Couture 9 and 10…the last…

IMG_0882 (Medium)IMG_0873 (Medium)Here are the last two cards I made with kaisercraft betsy’s couture. I hope you have enjoyed seeing them as much as I enjoyed making them! The top card follows the same sketch as previous cards, but with the bottom card I wanted to try a little experiment using texture paste – I wanted to see if it made the card too heavy. I used a light texture paste, and I had no problems with the card standing so will be using this technique more often !After applying the paste through a stencil and letting it dry i wiped over  the paste with Antique linen distress ink pad, added some die cuts, ribbon , lace, and flowers.for now its off to work i go, til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Bestys couture 7 and 8 mens cards….

IMG_0869 (Medium)IMG_0871 (Medium)Today I have managed to pull myself away from the craft room, where I have been on a creative roll, to post these two mens card ideas using Kaisercraft betsys couture papers, and a stampin up stamp set – guy greetings. I added some hessian and a button for some texture. Always like it when I can make a mens card out of a predominately feminine paper collection! For now it’s back to the craft room! til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Betsys Couture 5 and 6

IMG_0880 (Medium)IMG_0881 (Medium)The top card uses Kaisercraft betsys couture 12 x 12 papers, and the bottom card uses papers from the 6 inch pad. Both cards have an assortment of matching collectables, lace, ribbon, prima flowers, hand rolled flowers, liquid pearls, kaisercraft assorted dies, leaf punch, seam binding and lace.I picked my husband up from hospital this morning, and while on nursing duties I sat down to organise a class for May using some new simple stories paper. Eight or so cards later I have realised I have exceeded the three we usually do in a class, so I am thinking I will take them all along and let the ladies choose which ones they want to do. This paper ( collection is called I am) is terrific ..the ideas keep coming so glad I bought some for myself – I can’t wait to get back to it! Til tomorrow…..

Quick post this afternoon as I am off to take my husband to the hospital where he will have his operation on both knees… I think he will try anything to get out of the kitchen renovations that are happening here at the moment! til tomorrow….
