Sorry I missed yesterdays post, but our new air conditioning system was installed and it was a little busy around here – just in the nick of time too, as I sit here it’s 43C and is going to stay that way for quite a few days. Today is number 4 in my Graphic 45 A place in time series, still using my original 2 sheets of March cut outs. The cardstock is Stampin up Garden Green, and a lovely piece of bazil. I stamped a four leaf clover from my oxford impressions Farm stamp set and gold embossed it. The addition of a kaisercraft brad, and there it is – a good luck card ! I have a couple of orders to do, but far too hot today, the glue will dry before I get it near the cardstock, so the craft room will have to wait. Til tomorrow….

happy new year to all my followers and visitors. Today is the day that wordpress sends out my statistics for the year past, and I want to thank all 55,879 visitors for stopping by over the past year.Everyone who is a regular visitor will know that my favourite paper is Graphic 45 and so for the next few posts you will be seeing what I did with 2 sheets of Graphic 45 A place in time – march cut outs. I bought 2 because I loved the back as much as the front, and by the time I was finished I had used every scrap of both sheets! Todays cards are Mothers day cards – early I know, but the images are perfect for Mothers Day I think! The cardstock is Stampin Up Perfect plum and garden green, and I also used a little ribbon, lace, pearls and a kaisercraft brad.Til tomorrow….
Stampin Up countryside number 6
Here is the last in my Stampin Up countryside stamp set series – I have loved working with this stamp set, and it will be afavourite choice when I have to make those mens cards. I have used the truck image here and stamped it in Cherry cobbler ink onto very vanilla cardstock ( everything used here today is stampin up except for the button). Other cardstock used is cherry cobbler and soft sude. I embossed the soft suede with my square lattice embossing folder. The sentiment is a stamp from the curly cute set, and I added a button and bit of linen thread to finish.I have spent most of today restoring some order to my craft room, I have been so busy the past month that everything was just everywhere, but now I can find things again it’s time for some serious crafting! stampin up Country side number 5
For my fifth card in my Stampin Up countryside Series I used 2 of the stamps in the set, and stamped them with early Espresso ink. The card base is choc chip cardstock, and I also used crumbcake, very vanilla and close to cocoa( retired colour) all from Stampin Up. I used my woodgrain embossing folder, again inking it up before I embossed, to get that lovely shaded effect. A little linen thread, and this one was done! I have been making some boxes for my cards this afternoon, so now it’s off into the craft room to make some cards to put in them ! Til tomorrow….

Countryside number 3
For card number 3 in my Stampin Up Countryside stamp set series, I have used (all Stampin up) early espresso, very vanilla and crumbcake cardstock, and stamped the water pump in early espresso ink. I swiped my crumbcake ink pad over the woodgrain embossing folder before running the crumbcake cardstock through it.A bit of layering, piercing, some linen thread and a button, and it was a quick and easy card! The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp called happy birthday.I spent some time in the craft room today planning out my February lessons, all male cards for February!,but it’s time to break out the ribbon and bling tonight! Another oval with Miss nelly…
I am jumping around a bit this week, but it’s because we haven’t done any photo-ing for a couple of weeks and i am going through older files to clear them out, anyway today we are back to Kaisercraft Miss Nelly patterned paper and my Stampin Up designer frames embossing folder. Did some border punching, and added ribbon, flowers, lace and liquid pearls. Spellbinders labels seventeen number 3

There are two views of todays card, because the is a bit of work on the inside as well as the outside! I covered the front of the card ( all papers used are Kaisercraft Miss Nelly) and used the spellbinders label seventeen to die cut an aperture. The piece that was cut out was stuck inside on top of some more patterned paper, and I added a couple of butterflies die cut from Cheery Lyn exotic butterfly small #2. just added some bright ribbon and bling to finish. This is a simple card to make but looks really effective, and I must remember to make more like this! Kaisercraft Miss Nelly
On a close inspection I have realised I didn’t use my labels seventeen die on this card, which ruins my whole theme thing I had started. So today, just imagine that instead of using the pre cut shapes that came with the Kaisercraft Miss nelly 6″pad I had cut them with my die!For the rest of the card – I punched corners out of the matting paper, stamped a sentiment from Stampin Up curly Cute set, added some lace and made a flower with my sizzix Tim Holtz Paper Rosette die, adding a kaisercraft sparklet and leaves to finish. Have had a lovely afternoon getting inky fingers with my Mum as we played with a plethora of new stamps. As soon as I organise nathan I will have lots of new cards to show you! Til tomorrow…
