I seem to be jumping all over the place with my photos this month, but I had a lot of random bits and pieces on my desk and had a bit of a push to try and use them up, so this is a card I made with leftover bits and pieces from Kaisercraft Miss Betty collection. Lots of layering, and a bit of fussy cutting, and just a little ribbon bow! Today i bought opur puppy a winter coat. She is not sure about it, and sat in one place for a long time ( highly unusual for her!) deciding if she should move or not. I have included a photo here for you all! Til tomorrow….

Go Press and foil ..simple..
Todays card is a very simple one made with my Go Press and Foil machine to foil the Rose hot foil stamp ( couture Creations) in green foil, and then white cardstock for the rest. I dry embossed a piece of cardstock with a stampin up embossing folder, and Die cut a stitched oval ( Seven Paper Dolls die) One little white ribbon and this all occasion card is finished! I have a day off today and quite a bit of housework to catch up on, but I am sure I will find some spare time to unwind in the craft room…til tomorrow….
Go Press and foil sympathy

Today is a sympathy card, kept very simple, and all white ( I do love an all white card…did you guess that?) I have dry embossed a layered background with a stampin up embossing folder, Foiled a couture creations hot foil stamp with silver foil, die cut that piece with a stitched oval die, and then just added a few flowers. So many things on just now… still trying to get organised for my craft fair in a couple of weeks, and then it will be full steam ahead organising my six classes for the cruise next February. I know that seems a long time away but time continues to fly and there is a lot of preparation work for the cruise classes 2 cards each class and all die cutting and embossing have to be done beforehand to limit the amount of luggage I have to take on board. It’s all good fun! Til tomorrow….
Welcome Baby..
Another Panda card today, and this one is for a newborn baby. The stamp set is party pandas by Stampin Up, and I have used a couple of Seven Paper Doll dies ( stitched rectangles and words) to complete this one. I added a pretty bow, flower and some sequins to bling this one up a bit!I have been busy at work this week so not so much crafting, but I have spent this morning stamping out some flowers onto watercolour paper so that I can practise with my new Zig clean colour markers this afternoon when I am over at Mum and Dads place. The Cruise line contacted me this morning asking if I would like to be their Art/craft instructor again this year so I am having a look at the cruise for this summer and working out which one(s) I can commit to. It’s all good fun! til tomorrow….
Another cute Panda card…
Hello! I am sorry I am not posting as often as usual, but I have been busy in the shop,we opened our Paper Flourish On Line store last week, and things have been hectic!I am finding minutes here and there to create, but not as much as I would like. In the meantime, todays card is made with Stampin Up Party pandas stamp set, which I stamped and fussy cut, and the background is inked with Distress oxide ink pads and a circle stencil. The rectangle cross stitched die is a Seven Paper Dolls Die. Til tomorrow…..
Cute Pandas!
These Pandas are so cute! they are from a stamp set by Stampin Up (party pandas),and I stamped them and fussy cut them out, doing a little colouring with copic pens. I prepared a background piece by using Distress oxide ink pads, and die cut the rectangle with a Seven Paper Dolls cross stitch die. Such a simple card to make and a favourite of mine…Til tomorrow….
All White..
One of my favourite cards to make is all white. I usually do all white for wedding cards when I am not sure of the colour scheme used in the wedding, but this time I made a birthday card. I have a lot of embossing folders, they are great for adding texture – imagine this card without the embossing!.This embossing folder is from Stampin Up as is the birthday stamp sentiment. I die cut the circle, punched out the leaves, and added flowers and a ribbon bow. I have lots of new things to play with this weekend. This is almost the best part of my job..trying out new stuff! this weekend I will be road testing the Tim Holtz travel stamp platform, and the new magnetic die cutting plate from Couture Creations. I also have new papers – (yay) Memory Lane by kaisercraft – gorgeous pastel greens which I think will also work with Christmas cards later in the year so it doesn’t matter if I don’t use all of it just now. That said I am off to open new things! Til tomorrow….
Embossing ( and just a die cut)
This is a card that I taught at paper Flourish a couple of months ago. We did a set of three cards all relying on embossing and die cutting with pastel colours. The die I have used is a Seven paper Dolls die which will be available to purchase from our webstore when it has it’s grand opening on the 1st of May. It has been a busy and exciting time getting the web store up and running and we see the finish line in our sights! The sentiment die is from kaisercraft as are the embossing folders I used. I stuck a row of flowers across the join I had created by combining two different embossed pieces of cardstock. I have always loved pastel colours and the three cards we created in class are favourites of mine. I have rediscovered embossing folders recently, they are an undervalued piece of cardmaking equipment in my opinion! I have spent a little time today in the craft room creating some June lessons, but really it has been a lazy and relaxing day off. Stampin Up Birthday Blooms..
Once again for some reason my computer has decided these cards look better on their sides! So please just imagine they are standing in a landscape format!! I have used the same stamp ( from Stampin Up Birthday Blooms) and I have stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Zig markers as I was experimenting with these wonderful new markers. With one colour you can get a graduation of colour by colouring directly where you want the colour darkest, and then I just pulled the colour around with an aqua brush ( a normal paintbrush and cup of water would also do the job). I scattered some drops of clear Nuvo around to look like water drops, and the dies are a nesting stitch die by seven paper dolls. Matching ribbon trim, a bit of patterned paper on the top card, and a bling flat backed pearl and these were super easy and what I would call clean and simple! Til tomorrow…..
Prima Lavender card..
I bought this range before I went on my cruise, and only had time to make one or two cards with it, but hopefully I will find a little time to get it out again!. The range is Prima Lavender, and I also bought some Amelia Rose, which is very similar colours and so I may mix and match the ranges ( something I don’t normally do)on future cards. I added some Prima flowers and some rose gold sequins. I am off to Mum and Dads today, I have lots of new dies to play with so I am taking them with me to cut some for mum. I have been going through all my papers in the craft room this week, sorting out which collections are going to the craft fair. I have to reduce my stock so that I can fit more in! Managing the stash is as much of a hobby as the actual creating! Til tomorrow….
