While I was making the stepper cards I made one with Kaisercraft rustic harmony paper, and then made a box to pop it into as it was quite bulky by the time I finished it.Lots of lovely lace trim on the card on the left, and a little more on the box lid on the right. I also used – martha stewart lace doily punch and leaf punch, spellbinders rolled roses and papillion butterflies dies, and Kaisercraft mint pearls.A lovely lazy day today, with a little crafting, and lot of relaxing! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft flourish die with Tropical Punch collection

These two cards were made with Kaisercraft tropical Punch collection( including the sticker sheet)and a flourish die, also by Kaisercraft. It is a big flourish, so I used it as the focus on the top card, but on the lower card I cut it up into pieces.Of all the brands of dies I have used, these dies from kaisercraft are the best when it comes to removing your paper or cardstock from the die – usually they just fall out!Wouldn’t the flourish make a great tail for a bird? May have to experiment with that idea! Til tomorrow….
More ideas with dies
The paper I used here is Tropical Punch by Kaisercraft, and the Die is also by kaisercraft. I die cut the feather and ran it through the cuttlebug swiss dots folder. I used the off cut from the feather die to sponge through to create the inked images on the patterned paper.( tea Dye distress ink).A flower, punched leaf, and bir ribbon bow and this one was complete! Graphic 45 raining Cats and dogs.2 and 3 ..step it up!

For something a little different, I decided to take the same image from Graphic 45 Raining cats and Dogs paper collection, and make three cards ( two shown today and the last one next time) and make a basic card, then step it up for each card. the top card is the first card. Some basic layering ( I like the sketch – will use this again)and this one was quick and easy. For the bottom card ( second in my step it up series) I used the same papers and layout, but added some fussy cut flowers, and a ribbon bow. I will show the third one next time..Very hot here today, have a big order to do but will have to wait til the weather is a bit cooler..Til tomorrow….
graphic 45 raining cats and dogs number 1
I haven’t had a chance to post the few cards I have made with this range of papers from graphic 45 (raining cats and dogs), so I will take the opportunity to start now while we have a break from all cards masculine! I made a stepper card – I find the graphic 45 papers suit these different shaped cards -and layered up papers, as well as a little bit of fussy cutting on the right hand side.Cardstock is stampin up Baja breeze.Til tomorrow….
Echo park teenagers number 6 and 7
Echo Park teenagers number 5
Todays card made with echo park teenagers paper collection is based on the game tetris..I just cut out the squares from one of the papers, and stuck them onto the card front. A bit of corner rounding and some layering of paper and cardstock and this was a really quick and easy card to make! I have spent most of the day in the craft room using up some old papers, and listening to ABC radio where there has been constant updates on the bushfires that are burning out of control on the very outskirts of our beautiful town. Many of my friends and a couple of relatives have had to evacuate from their homes, and it has been a worrying day for all of us here in Adelaide. The weather til now has been extremely hot, although as I type the wind is raging, temperature has dropped a little and I hear thunder in the distance. Let’s hope there is a lot of rain with that thunder! Til tomorrow…
Echo Park Teenagers 3 and 4

Two cards today, because I don’t think I will get back here tomorrow .. I have a really long day at work getting ready for the back to school sale..always something!… Todays two cards are still made using Echo park teenagers paper collection. as I mentioned before, I only bought a couple of sheets of this collection, but if I see it again I will be buying more as it is so easy to make those difficult teen boy cards with this paper. The bottom card has a bit of fussy cutting, and I layered everything with Stampin up cardstock – tangerine tango and Mossy meadow which matches in perfectly with the colours. For now though, it’s back to the craft room where the decluttering has commenced, although I must admit I get very easily distracted so it could be quite a long job and you may be seeing some cards made with older paper collections in the near future! til tomorrow ….
