IMG_4077 (Medium)Todays card is as clean and simple as I get with Graphic 45 paper. A bit of white space left on the card, and a border punched with Martha Stewart lace doily  border punch, ribbon and fussy cutting.Til tomorrow….

  1. So beautiful and elegant Helen – I ♥ it! Don’t Graphic45 have such gorgeous papers? Super quality and it almost breaks my heart to cut into them LOL!!

In answer to your question re my favourite way of colouring: I love watercolouring so use Watercolour pencils + I bought Tombow pens last year (which are watercolour textas & quite challenging to use). Early on in my colouring, I did the Magic Coloured Pencil technique ie: Prismacolor/Derwent Coloursoft pencils + Odourless Solvent – but haven’t done that for ages since I “discovered” watercolour pencils. I started with a set of Faber-Castell 48 watercolour pencils from Riot Art & Craft & they weren’t expensive – and still use them alot even though I have added other brands to my collection to get a bigger range of colours. I won a set of 10 Ranger Distress Markers so use them quite alot too & would like to get more colours. I would like to try using Copics one day but I am scared I will love them and then want to buy every single colour LOL!

    1. Oh, we seem to use the same mediums for colouring! I have prismacolour pencils, which I use with paper stumps and gamsol, I did buy all the distress markers ( love them),watercolour pencils – mine are just a fabercastell set of 48, and fully understand your reasoning behind copics – I bought just three in shades of pink, and three in shades of green, but have already decided that next will be some browns and purples so they have reeled me in!
