I have titled these ones A place in time., but I am a bit torn – they could be from graphic 45 Time to celebrate…either way they are graphic 45 papers,my favourite paper company and I love working with any of their paper. Just a little layering and ribbon and lace for these 2 easy cards.Today has been a lovely relaxing day in the craft room, doing an order or two, and making some male cards for all the male birthdays coming up in our family, and in between a few cards ready for the fair boxes. I haven’t settled on one thing – just moved from paper collection and stamp set as the fancy took me- not a way I usually work, but fun just the same. I hope you are all enjoying your Easter break, til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 Time to Flourish 12 and 13 April….
two quick cards today made with graphic 45 Time to flourish april sheets. On the left, a lot of fussy cutting ( this is more than likely going to be Mums Mothers day card as she loves daffodils) and on the right a very quick and easy easter card., with a little nit of fussy cutting stuck around the image for a bit of interest!we are having power cuts on and off today, luckily we have been warned, but every time the power comes back on there is a mad rush to the computer! it’s amazing how reliant we have become on technology! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Time to Flourish ..April papers..
A very quick Easter card today, using Graphic 45 Time to Flourish April papers. This card didn’t need much extra at all – just a seam binding bow with a tiny flower, and the background layer punched with my Martha stewart Doily punch.A day of doctors today, Joe has his check up with the specialist after his knee operations, and then dad of to the local hospital for a cardiologist appt. Hopefully both get a clean bill of health. Til tomorow….
Graphic 45 time to flourish 8 and 9,october.
At first glance I didn’t think I would use any of the October papers in the 12 x 12 pad of Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection, because it was quite halloween themed which we really don’t get into here in australia, but on closer inspection I spied these gorgeous images of scottish thistles. That is my heritage, and I thought if I could make a couple of male orientated cards, that would be my Dad and my uncles cards sorted for this year. So, no ribbon, lace bling or anything too fancy, just a lot of matting, and a little fussy cutting, and strategic placement of said mats, but I really like how they both turned out,and no paper wasted!Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 time to flourish number 6
This one is a side stepper card, ( graphic 45 time to flourish June papers) again, I just sat down with my cardstock and ruler and fiddled with measurements until I made something that would fit into a normal c6 envelope. Luckily for me I scribbled down the measurements and made templates of all these cards so that I could do them again, because I really like this one in particular – it’s perfect for showing off this beautiful paper. My holidays start at the end of next week, and I will get Nathan organised with the video camera and we will do a bit of a clip on how I made this one and the previous card posted so that you can all try ! As for the rest…. fussy cut bits , and layers on each step( which you can’t really see in the photo) and a gorgeous ribbon bow to finish. Two days of 6 am starts over with, a day off tomorrow, one more day of work and three days off after that – got to love long weekends!! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Time to flourish 5…. June.
Graphic 45 time to flourish June, 3 and 4
two cards today, Graphic 45 Time to flourish, the June papers. The top card is lots and lots of fussy cutting with some lace and a ribbon bow, while the bottom card is a stepper card – I have been experimenting with measurements for these types of cards, so this one is a 13 x 13 cm stepper.Martha stewart lace doily border punch, lace and lots more fussy cutting here. This afternoon I have spent a couple of relaxing hours in the craft room stamping with some new stamp sets, but as usual the weekend has gone far too quickly! til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Time to flourish 2 June.
Card number 2 made from graphic 45 Time to flourish ( June sheets) . It’s no wonder I started with this month in the 12 x 12 paper pad – these colours together are my favourite!I fussy cut another rose and a piece of the border trim, and added a ribbon bow, lace and some liquid pearls. the cardstock is Stampin Up baja breeze, sadly retired, but I bought up big on this colour before it disappeared! til tomorrow….
graphic 45 Time to Flourish June..number 1
graphic 45 Time to Flourish ..the June papers. I think by now you all know how I feel about Graphic 45 papers,so we will get straight into the description! One layer on my cardstock ( stampin up pink piroutte) with a corner rolled down and a brad to hold it in place. I punched a border with Martha Stewart lace doily punch – this is my second one – I wore the first punch out…and a piece of lace trim and little bows over the top.The rose was fussy cut from the paper.I have taught a couple of classes this week, and had a great time with my ladies.I have also made a couple of purchases – some flowers ( can never have enough) and a few copic markers – yes I have given in and bought some. I had bought quite a few kaisercraft fusion markers, but they dry out very quickly and it appears that they have been discontinued so, really if I want to keep colouring I had no choice. we will see how I get on with them! til tomorrow…..
