two quick cards today made with graphic 45 Time to flourish april sheets. On the left, a lot of fussy cutting ( this is more than likely going to be Mums Mothers day card as she loves daffodils) and on the right a very quick and easy easter card., with a little nit of fussy cutting stuck around the image for a bit of interest!we are having power cuts on and off today, luckily we have been warned, but every time the power comes back on there is a mad rush to the computer! it’s amazing how reliant we have become on technology! Graphic 45 Time to Flourish number 11 April..
Over the next couple of days I will post a few cards I made with Graphic 45 Time to celebrate, this time the two April sheets. I used a card front for this one, and did some fussy cutting, and just added a seam binding bow.In the craft room meanwhile I still have simple stories on the table ,left there from the weekend, and I am determined to finish all the bits and pieces I have left – so far I have made 25 cards with that paper ( not counting the 10 I have made for a class in may) .. I am inspired with that paper! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Betsys couture number 2 and 3
Two more vintage cards today, using the Kaisercraft betsys couture paper collection.Top card…12 x 12 papers,collectables,kaisercraft flourish die, flowers and lace. Bottom card….a mix of 6″pad and 123 x 12 papers,(the cameo was fussy cut from a full sheet of cameo images)Kaisercraft border die, lace, seam binding and a pearl topped hat pin. My back is much better today, thank you for all your healing wishes, til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft betsys Couture number 1
Recently I bought some of kaisercraft’s recent release – Betsys Couture. I knew once I started with this paper it would be hard to stop, so we have quite a few here in the queue! Before I started I die cut a few Ornate frames ( Kaisercraft die) so that I wouldn’t have to interrupt the creative process by bobbing up and down to the big shot.I used one on this card, wrapped the inner oval with lace and stuck on a websters pages cameo – I have a little box on my table full of these little odds and ends from other projects, and often use bits from it on projects.The papers were from the 6″ pad,as was the lady who I fussy cut out of the paper. sponged around all the edges with tea dye ink, flowers, punched leaves and ribbon to finish.My back is almost better today, and I am sure it will be perfect for work tomorrow! At lats i am able to sit, although not for to long, but long enough for me to relax in the craft room for a little while this afternoon. Til tomorrow…..
Graphic 45 french Country number 6
I made this card for a friend who loves sunflowers. A sunflower card…. the first paper I thought of was Graphic 45 french country. I did a lot of fussy cutting for this one, and layered the flowers up, added a border strip and ribbon, and mounted it all on stampin up marina mist cardstock.all plans have gone out of the window this weekend as my back has let me down and I am reaquainting myself with my hot water bottle.It has improved a bit today so hopefully tomorrow I will be up and about a bit more
Kaisercraft xo 4 and 5
These are the last two cards I made with Kaisercraft Xo papers. I have put it away for now as what with this collection and the previous simple stories series of cards I have enough wedding, engagement and anniversary cards to last me quite some time.Thinking of that very thing I made the top card a birthday card and punched a border,die cut a doily and added some collectables,ribbon and pearls. the bottom card was the card I gave my husband for Valentines day.The strip across the middle was fussy cut from some of the paper, and by luck I have a border punch ( by EK Success) which punches a very similar border which I added punched out of white cardstock.I just added a heart collectable and small ribbon bow to finish.Til tomorrow….
Dressing up my Prima doll stamps
I used some more of the kaisercraft spring bloom paper collection to dress my Prima Doll stamps.I love creating cards with these stamps, and they always look different depending on the colours I use. I also used some of the collectables from the collection, and some fussy cut flowers. the butterfly on the second card is a prima butterfly. Very hot here today, very lazy day! til tomorrow…..

Two wedding cards today, although the bottom card could also be used for anniversary,engagement or even valentines day, from Simple stories the story of us paper collection.A bit of fussy cutting involved here, especially on the top card, and just some punched leaves, pearls, and ribbon bow to finish. Thank you all for sticking with me through this simple stories marathon, we have two more tomorrow and then we will move on! I certainly got my moneys worth with theses few sheets of paper!Today I sat down at my craft table and found some images I had stamped and coloured, so I turned them all into cards so feel good – I tidied and created all at once! Simple Stories, the story of us paper collection. the beauty of this paper was that it didn’t need too much else to complete the cards. The top card has some fussy cutting,sequins,ribbon and a leaf punch, while the bottom card has the addition of a doily,flower some sequins and leaf punch.Today I have been busy putting together some Ikea furniture, while Nathan rejigged the sitting room corner where my computer lives.So pleased with myself that I managed to follow the instructions and build my 2 drawer wooden filing cabinet, and I only have a couple of screws and thingmajigs left over. I hope they weren’t integral to the sturdiness of my cabinet! Til tomorrow….
