Kaisercraft My cherie thank you..11 and 12…

IMG_6290 (Medium)IMG_6292 (Medium)Here are the last two cards made with Kaisercraft my cherie, for the meantime anyway! These ones are thank you cards – I have made a huge range of cards with different sentiments with this collection, so it’s a great one for all round cards. The top card has a mix of 6′ pad papers and 12 x 12 papers, and the bottom card uses just the 6″ pad.I found some flowers in the bottom of  a drawer, wound some silver thread in the back ground and finished off with a big bow and fussy cut butterfly. My roast is in the oven, my shopping list written out for this week, and now I am going to round up Nathan and his camera and take some photos of  my latest makes ready to post!I must take this opportunity to welcome all my new followers, thank you for joining us, feel free to comment and join in crafty conversations! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercract Ma Cherie 8 and 9…

IMG_6289 (Medium)A change of pace today with a couple of thinking of you cards made with kaisercraft ma Cherie paper collection. I fussy cut the flower sprays from a sheet of 12 x 12 paper, and the lovely embossed paper on the background id from the 6 ” pad, as is the greeting and butterfly.very similar cards – subtle differences – the background papers are two different papers, and the cardstock used are two different shades of grey. This morning I was digging through my graphic 45 paper looking for special papers to use for a village lesson, and I need a lot of the same paper as my ladies want to learn how to make a bendy card and graphic 45 is the only paper I have in large quantities – mainly because once home with it I find it very difficult to cut into – I love it that much!Going through it all Ideas were springing from everywhere – I will never have enough time to make everything I want to, but at least I have realised the time has come to use this paper! So any spare time this weekend will be spent with Graphic 45!Til tomorrow….

Bella Blvd Cute baby boy 8,9,10,11…

IMG_6299 (Medium)IMG_6300 (Medium)IMG_6302 (Medium)IMG_6303 (Medium)I skipped a day this week, work hours have been all over the p-lace, anyway, we are looking at 4 cards to make up for it, and to finish off this series of bella blvd cute baby boy cards. I did make some birthday cards with this paper too, and these ones are the bottom two cards. So from the top – the elephant is stamped with a stamp from Stampin up zoo babies, and the balloon die was a freebie from a magazine. The second card is very similar but I fussy cut the bear from some of the paper collection. The third card -I fussy cut the train from the paper collection, the cloud die is from a kaisercraft hot air balloon die set, and I inked around the edges to give more definition.Again free balloon die! and the fourth card I cut a banner from the last scrap of paper, fussy cut the bear and die cut the balloons. I have shown you eleven cards from  my 4 sheets of paper but I did make 19 …brilliant value with this paper. I have done the same or similar with the bella blvd sweet baby girl papers, and I will show you just a few – but we will take a bit of a break from all things baby and have a look at some of the other cards I have been making for a change next time. til tomorrow….

Bella Blvd Cute baby boy 6 and 7

IMG_6295 (Medium)IMG_6296 (Medium)Still with the same 4 sheets of paper from Bella Blvd, and a couple of different techniques here. The top card is an embedded embossing technique, i fussy cut the dummies(pacifiers) from the paper, stuck them onto some white cardstock and then ran it through my big shot in an embossing folder. I love doing this technique! The other thing i did on both cards was stamping – i dug deep into my stamp collection and found this one – by stampin up, but really old!! I cut around the stamped image and then stuck it onto some contrasting cardstock, and cut around it again. this makes little stamps a bit bigger so that you can use them as focal points. I added ribbon bows and a wobbly eye on the duck on the bottom card to finish. Til tomorrow…..

Bella Blvd Cute Baby boy cards 3,4,5..

Baby boy cards

IMG_6294 (Medium)I bought 4 sheets of bella Blvd cute baby boy cards, and made 19 cards with it! Here are a couple and I will show a few more over the next day or two.On these two I have stamped a Stampin Up stamp on to some of the patterned paper and fussy cut the stamped image, layered onto a spellbinders scalloped circle. The sweet baby banner is from stampin up itty bitty Banners stamp set,and I added buttons, silver thread and a ribbon bow on the left hand card. All my housework for toaday is done and I have some gorgeous new paper from Kaisercraft ( cottage Rose) sitting in the craft room waiting for me and I am looking forward to relaxing in there!Til tomorrow…

embossing and die cutting

IMG_4120 (Medium)The rose die that I used on these two cards was a freebie on the front of a card making magazine. On both cards I die cut the rose, then stuck it on contrasting card and fussy cut around it to give the two tone effect. I have some border embossing folders so they are the ones I used on the card on the right, and I used my Kaisercraft rose embossing folder on the left card – that folder is becoming a favourite! the fancy edge on the left card was die cut with spellbinders borders dies. Both cards were finished off with ribbon bows. The “with love” is another freebie die,and I die cut the letters on the other card to spell Mum.Quick post today, til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Ma Cherie 5 and 6…

IMG_4123 (Medium)IMG_4125 (Medium)Two cards today, both with the same decoration, but one done portrait style, and one done landscape style. Background papers are from the Kaisercraft Ma Cherie 6″ pad. The interesting thing about these two cards …On yesterdays card when I die cut the printed sentiment from the 12 x 12 paper I was left with a spotted frame with a hole in the middle, so for todays’ cards I die cut a circle from more patterned paper to fit the hole, rounded the corner with a fancy corner punch from Stampin Up, and used that to create my focal point – I just had to add a fussy cut butterfly ( this collection has a whole sheet of gorgeous butterflies on it to fussy cut!), some liquid pearls on the top card and gorgeous rose trim on the bottom card. After spending my crafting time this week making mens cards I am ready to break out the lace, flowers, ribbons, pearls and create some vintage cards with my new Prima papers – can not wait!! but first Nathan and I have to go and photograph aforementioned mens cards. til tomorrow……

Kaisercraft Ma Cherie number 4

IMG_4122 (Medium)I have some more Kaisercraft Ma Cherie cards to show you. This first one is simply a panel of 12 x 12 paper on top of a card blank ( stampin up cardstock), and I die cut a piece of the card front 12 x 12 papers with a circle die, die cut a scalloped circle ( spellbinders classic scalloped circles) and added flowers, ribbon and a couple of fussy cut betterflies. I knew I had bought this paper, but I searched high and low and couldn’t find it so I bought it all over again, then found the original purchase! I now have lots of this paper, luckily its a beautiful paper range and since making this group of cards I have pulled it out again and it is currently on my desk ready for new ideas this weekend!Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Le amour 5 and 6

IMG_7766 (Medium)IMG_7767 (Medium)Some cards over the next couple of days from a range from Graphic 45 , Le Amour. The top card has lots of fussy cutting, and just a ribbon bow, whereas the bottom card  has a bit more work – I die cut a dress form with a kaisercraft die, and a small doily ( also kaisercraft) and added a ribbon, gold thread and a stampin up cream ribbon rose for some added texture. Today while shopping a had a look at some greeting cards, just out of curiosity – I haven’t bought a card for years, and I couldn’t believe the prices!! $10 for a card! Wow! I will stick to making mine – I save money and relax at the same time – it’s win win! Til tomorrow…..
