More cards with kaisercraft sail away collection. the top card is a very simple card made with a piece of the 12 x 12 paper – card fronts with a little bit of fussy cutting detail, and the bottom card is another example of embedded embossing – I fussy cut some images from a sheet of 12 x 12 paper, stuck them on to a white card with a glue stick and ran it through the big shot in a stampin up embossing folder. To finish I die cut a ships wheel ( kaisercraft die) added a circle from the 6″ pad, already printed with the greeting, and added a bow made from bakers twine.Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 Le’Amour

I thought as I had shown a card I made for the wedding with Graphic 45 Le’Amour I would finish the series off, as we have a few christmas cards to get through!.The top two cards are side stepper cards ( Youtube video on the way) and all the cards have fussy cutting, ribbon and lace. Love this collection and will get back to it once the christmas cards are finished , which should be by this time next week! Just a quick post this morning as I have to get off to work, til tomorrow…..
graphic 45 Le’Amour wedding card
Yesterday we attended the wedding of some friends, ( it was lovely), and I made this special card for them. The paper collection is Graphic 45 Le’Amour, and I did some fussy cutting and layering, and used one of the journalling cards from the same collection at the base of the card. The Bee in the heart up in the top corner is there because one half of the couple is called Bea, and I thought it added a very personal touch! she can take it off the card and keep it as a memento of the day if she wants. Bo bunny Madeleleine 3 and a conversation about scissors
Bo Bunny madeleine collection, fussy cut bird detail and some strategically placed ribbon bows and lace!. I was asked an interesting question today by a blog visitor, and I thought I would take some time to answer and add some tips as well. I use Fiskars scissors when I am fussy cutting – not your normal fingers through the holes type scissors though, I use the squeeze type, mainly because I don’t get tennis elbow with these type of scissors. I was suffering badly from tennis elbow with the amount of fussy cutting I do when I used the normal style scissors. My scissors are not cheap, but I am only on my second pair in over ten years of fussy cutting, so value for money I think. Other scissor related facts – I have my one pair for fussy cutting, I have a pair of surgical scissors( very sharp) for ribbon, lace and material, and a pair of very cheap normal scissors for cutting anything sticky. other cutting tools… my fiskars trimmer which has been with me from the very beginning is in my take everywhere craft bag, and my stampin up trimmer and making Memeories rotary trimmer are on my desk in the craft room. The rotary trimmer is for cutting my cardstock as I make all my own card bases and I have had it for about 7 years now and never had to replace a blade, and the stampin up trimmer is for everything else. I like it because I can also score on it and it has handy measurements on it which almost makes my ruler redundant! hope this helps … til tomorrow….

Say Aloha number 2
Kaisercraft say aloha paper collection from the 6″ pad, and the matching collectables for this one.I used a black cardstock base, and die cut the Birthday using a spellbinders die, and matted it on more black cardstock and fussy cut around it. A busy day today, finished off my July classes and got all my gear together ready for next weekends three day fair. I am glad all that’s done as this week is going to be very busy at work – it’s stocktake so I will be counting all week, squeeze in a class on Thursday morning, and back over to work to complete the counting Thursday afternoon.Thankfully Friday is a day off! younger boy cards

Younger boy cards today, the top card is made with some October Afternoon paper which was forgotten in a drawer, and although it doesn’t show in the photos I have fussy cut a couple of the ducks to pop on top with foam pads for a bit of a 3d feel. The bottom card was also made with some paper found in the same drawer, and I can’t tell you the brand name as the identity strip had been cut off! This paper had little cute animals printed over it so I die cut a couple of them out with my spellbinders circles die, and I punched some scallop edges out of plain cardstock with my stampin up borders punch.Off to work now…til tomorrow….
The final 4 simple stories I am!!

Today was a day off for me but very busy shopping and time spent getting my little car fixed, but I have a little while before I have to organize tea so will head to the craft room to start a couple of customer orders.til tomorrow….
Another 6 simple stories I am..

This paper just goes on and on!!Another 6 cards with Simple Stories I am paper collection, we have one more post and we will be able to move on. The common theme with this group of 6 is that they only rely on the paper ( except for a few sequins on card 3) .No embellishing required. I have been making some cards with kaisercrafts’ new release which is so bright and fun, just what we need in the depths of winter weather! til tomorrow…..
