Mintay Urban Jungle part 2…

Her, as promised are the other 3 cards i have made so far with Mintay urban Jungle..a week late, I know, But things have been happening! First we were sent into a deep lockdown due to an outbreak of Covid. Thankfully our wonderful health professionals were on top of the contact tracing so swiftly we didn’t have to endure a very long “nothing but supermarkets and medical places open” for very long at all, and things are now almost back to normal with minimal restrictions. So a great time to craft I hear you say? No. My son is finally coming home after spending four years interstate, and not being able to see him all this year, there is nothing but excitement here as I empty my craft room to give him a place to lay his head until he gets his own place. Also now that the shops are finally open I have to do a last minute push to finish the Christmas shopping. Crafting will happen, but it is going to be sporadic for a while! In the meantime stay safe, Til next time….

The final 4 Uniquely Creative Winter Rose cards…for now..

IMG_2220IMG_2221IMG_2224IMG_2226Some of you may notice a few little changes to my blog.. Nathan has been busy updating, and cleaning ..I guess after over ten years it needed it but hopefully you can still find the things you want to see. Let me know if any of you have any issues! Today’s cards are the final four I made with Uniquely Creative Winter Rose paper collection, and matching collectables. I have added an assortment of, fussy cutting, flourish die cuts, pearl strings and ribbon. sad to put this collection away for now but I have new papers to play with!Til next time.. stay safe..

Storyteller number 10

IMG_9382 (Medium)For this one I used the same piece of 12 x 12 storyteller patterned paper ( kaisercraft) as yesterdays card, and cut the strip with the flower image, and fussy cut the lace printed strip, and stuck both on to the front of my white card blank. Just added a mini flower, ribbon and punched leaf to finish. Today I have spent a lot of time in the craft room using up some older papers – hopefully we will be able to find some time to photograph them in the next day or so! til tomorrow….

Pickled Pear and labels die

IMG_8814 (Medium)For this card, I covered the front of a 6″ card with Kaisercraft Pickled Pear paper, and then Die cut a window in it using one of the Stampin Up Labels die. I covered the inside of the card with more paper from the same ( gorgeous) collection, and decorated the inside and out with flowers, fussy cut butterflies, and a leafy branch that I stamped on to Acetate and cut out, using one of the stamps from Kaisercraft Pickled pear stamp set. Tomorrow we will go back to Kaisercraft flora  delight paper, for now I am off into the craft room – I haven’t been well this week, but much better today, and feel in the mood for some crafty therapy! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary number 7

Here is the last one in my Graphic 45 a ladies diary series for now. I used Stampin Up early espresso cardstock, and fussy cut the flower from one of the papers. The tag is from the matching chipboard, and I just added a gold button tied with string. I brushed some perfect pearls onto the flower, and used a little kindyglitz on the hat. I have spent the afternoon in the craft room, making some more Fathers day cards, and working on some xmas cards for our big marathon which is only a few days away now.I did go through my xmas supplies, and once it was all sorted out there wasn’t too much paper left from last year, so big sigh of relief I will be able to justify buying more this year! Til tomorrow….

Vintage graphic 45 a ladies diary

While we are on graphic 45 a ladies diary, I will continue on, and show the other two in this group, today and tomorrow. Can you tell I really like this paper? it didn’t take long for my thoughts to turn to fussycutting, which is what I did with the rose and mounted it with foam pads. I hand cut a circle, and roughly cut it into a spiral and rolled it to make the flower on top of the Chipboard piece ( still in the Graphic 45 a ladies diary collection) . I gathered some lace across the card, and stuck a srtip of paper across the top of that and then all I had to do was bling it all up with kaisercraft pearls and kindyglitz . Tonight I am looking forward to rummaging around in my Xmas boxes. I thought I only had one tub, but have discovered that I actually have two and if I don’t use some of this papers etc I am not going to be able to justify buying any new stuff this year! That would be a disaster! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Tigerlily number 3

Here is the final card in my Kaisercraft Tigerlily series – I went to town on the whole orange/pink colour scheme on this one! The cardstock is stampin Up Pumpkin Pie, and i found this stretchy ruffled ribbon at spotlight. Quick post today as dinner is burning! Til tomorrow….
