This morning I taught my class over at Paper flourish, and I want to thank my ladies for their patience today – I am suffering from a sore throat and fuzzy head, but we muddled through and got there in the end – Thank you all very much.Today I have put up 2 photos, the bottom photo is a close up of one of the cards. The story behind the cards – I picked up a bag of little dolls from my local cheap shop thinking they would look great on cards, brought them home and had these cards done in no time! the paper I used on all the cards is from the same 6 inch paper pad – Prima Yuki for Ruby Violet. It had all the colours I needed in the one pad – always exciting when that happens, and the only other thing I added was assorted ribbon. The sentiments were stamped with Stampin Up labels stamp and the punched out with stampin Up Decorative labels punch.No crafting for me tonight – just a quiet night in front of the T.V. with a hot lemon and Honey drink! Amy Tangerine Sketchbook 5
here is the final of my American craft Amy tangerine sketchbook series, tomorrow on to something different! Again on this card, I just let the papers talk and layered different patterns of the 12 x 12 sheets, just added a little ribbon, kaisercraft rhinestones and kindyglitz. this was easy paper to work with and I really enjoyed the bright colours for a change of pace from my usual pastel toned favourites. The cardstock I used was from Stampin Up. Tonight I am going to be experimenting with my new kaisercraft paper, and looking forward to doing some creating! Til tomorrow….

Here is my second to last American crafts Amy tangerine Sketchbook card. Just used the paper, and did lots of layering. The butterfly is die cut using a couple of memory bopx dies – Moonlight Butterfly and Kaliedoscope butterfly. The cardstock and sentiment are from Stampin Up. Tonight I have a few orders to fulfil, so I will be in the craft room for a little while. til tomorrow…..

Firstly tonight I want to say thank you for the lovely comments from 2 of my followers -Margaret and Shirley. I always love to read your comments, and to know that someone is reading my ramblings! A very easy card tonight – this one made itself. I loved the image in the corner in one of the 12 x 12 sheets so cut it out and built the card around it. I just added ribbon and a bit of bling. the cardstock was from stampin Up as was the sentiment. Well my foray into the craftf market is over for now – I had a lovely 3 days meeting lots of interesting people, but now is the clean up – my craft room is a disaster are so tomorrow will be spent trying to restore order to it! Easy male cards
I have found the best paper for making Male cards – it’s Simple Stories – Awesome, so for the next couple of days i will post some of the cards I have created with this great paper! Todays card combines the paper with a docrafts papermania happy Birthday stamp which I stamped a couple of times onto different patterned paper from the same collection and fussy cut various letters out and glued them onto the original stamped image.I fussy cut the banner on the left hand side out of more of the matching paper,made a banner for the bottom right hand side, added some craftworkscards Candi in the corners, and that was it! the base card is Stampin Up Early Espresso.Still can’t move in my craft room, so more tidying up tonight.. Magnolia grove number 5
Here is todays card which is the last in my kaisercraft Magnolia grove series. I have used the 6″ pad today with a label from the matching collectables pack. I added a vintage rose, prima flowers, and liquid pearls and lace . With my cuttlebug I cut a memory box Fauntleroy crest and a couple of flowers with my sizzix tim holtz tattered flower garland die.The greeting is stamped using a stamp from my stampin Up perfectly penned set.I think all the travelling has caught up with me today as I am a bit tired, so I will have a break from the card room tonight and watch some T.V. I think… Til tomorrow….
Magnolia grove
Straight off I want to say that I found this paper a challenge – it is very pretty, but the muted colours are not what I usually choose, but learning is all about stretching yourself, so I will share my creations with you! I did make an initial 4 cards with this paper which sold before I could photo them, so some people do like this colourway. The paper is Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove, and I have also used the matching collectables, some kaisercraft pearls, lace, ribbon and websters pages clear rhine sparkler. The papers used on this one are all cut from 12 x 12 sheets. Til tomorrow….
victoria gardens revisited 2
This is the other card I made when I rediscovered my Echo Park Victoria gardens paper. The flags are die cut with Spellbinders Lacey Pennants die, and I just gathered a few flowers into a little bunch and tied a ribbon around them the sentiment is stamped with a stamp from Stampin Up perfectly penned set, and that was all that was needed on this one! Rue des Fleurs number 4
This card was so simple – Baja breeze ( stampin Up) cardstock, Stampin Up attic boutique designer paper, and the Rue Des fleurs stamp set. The die used for the label was stampin Up decorative labels die, and I lightly coloured the image with inks and a blender pen and sponged the edges with so saffron ( stampin Up) ink..I do like this particular stamp, and when I get home from my trip I look forward to doing some more with it! Tonights card has two photos because I decorated the inside of the card as well – something I don’t usually do, but I wanted to carry on the clock/ watch / time theme to the inside of my card. I used stampin Up cardstock – poppy parade, and choc chip ink, and the paper was Stampin Up attic boutique. The stamp set is of course my featured stamp set from stampin Up – Rue Des Fleurs.I used the little stamp onto very vanilla cardstock and fussy cut it, linked it together to make the border down the side and decorated it with kaisercraft pearls.The labels were die cut with Stampin Up decorative label dies and my cuttlebug. Not a lot of crafting done today, but I will get into the craft room tonight for an hour or two as I have an idea buzzing around in my head for a male card… Til tomorrow….
