Here are the last two Christmas cards for this year! The top card is made with Stampin Up supplies – Star of light stamp set ( I gold embossed the big swirl stamp),and starlight dies, with gold cord, a couple of gold sequins and a snowflake bling ( from Paper Flourish. The embossing folder is last years release from Stampin up.The bottom card was a bit of an experiment, I cut the front of the card quite drastically, and die cut a couple of circles which I stuck to the right hand side of the base card. You can’t see the bits that i stuck because I covered the back of the base card with some white cardstock ( which I stamped a greeting on). The paper is stampin up, and I punched christmas tres, stuck them on white cardstock and fussy cut out. Til tomorrow…

Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian 7 and 8 the last 2..

Here are my last 2 cards made with Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian for now.The cardstock I used is from Stampin Up and blends in well with the colours on this paper. Just lots of layering and fussy cutting on both cards and a ribbon bow on each for a touch of texture. As I am still restricted with my shoulder as to what i can acheive in the craft room i thought this weekend I might have a try at making some flower sprays, so i have been gathering odd flowers, leaves , wire and various other bits and pieces and will sit down this afternoon and see what happens! Prima Sweet Peppermint 5 and 6..

We continue on with my series of cards made with Prima Sweet peppermint, and I enjoyed the chance to rummage around in my lace stash to make these ones! The gold tape I used is by kaisercraft, and I distressed edges and inked with Tea dye distress ink. My wonderful mum and sister did a lot of die cutting for me yesterday so that I could fulfill an order, so I have been enjoying the craft room today, in the peace and quiet as everyone else is off doing their own thing! Prima Sweet peppermint continued..

Continuing on with Prima Sweet peppermint, the top card makes use of the collectables pack which also had the sequins in it, and I slipped a little scrap glitter cardstock between the layers for some twinkle. The bottom card has a Christmas tree die cut with a kaisercraft die – I had just purchased this die and wanted to try it out, and I love it, but sadly it wasn’t too long after this that I injured my shoulder and all further die cutting went out the window, so this die will keep until next christmas! I am visiting Mum and dad today, with my sister as we do every weekend, but today I am taking a box of cardstock and dies and embossing folders and I will ask my mum and sister to do some die cutting for me as I have a large Christmas card order to prepare. Thankfully my Dr. tells me we are aiming for back to normal by christmas day! Til tomorrow….
Prima Sweet Peppermint

Today we start a new series, Christmas cards made with Prima Sweet Peppermint.I purchased a few sheets of the 12 x 12 paper, and a bag of the chipboard collectables and for all the cards I made I only added some trim and kindyglitz for texture and sparkle.I edged around all my edges with Tea Dye distress ink as some of the background papers got lost next to each other, and inked edges helps solve that problem. This morning I am off to teach my class at Paper Flourish and I am so looking forward to catching up with everyone! Til tomorow….
Kaisercraft Ooh La La 3..
Straight away I must confess this is not my design..it is the design of my good friend Mandii, who designed it for the Class in a box kit that I bought from Paper Flourish.I don’t usually do the designs suggested in the box, I go off on a tangent and do my own thing, but I fell in love with this one of Mandiis. Everything on the card was in the box, and of course the main item is the gorgeous Kaisercraft Ooh La la papers. This is the last with this paper for now, I have many more waiting to be photographed so we will be returning to it soon, but next up on the blog list is some more Christmas cards, we are getting to the end of them now! Today is my little puppy’s first birthday so i must go and make a fuss of her…til tomorrow….
Kaisecraft Ooh La La..!.
This is the first card I made with kaisercraft Ooh La La paper collection. I love this collection and bought the Paper Flourish Class in a box because it had all the 12 x 12 papers as well as a lot of other bits and pieces that match in with the papers. I also purchased the 6″ pad and another pack of collectables to extend the set.I am so glad I did because it’s the only collection I have been able to use in my craft room while I am not able to use my shoulder. I haven’t needed to do any die cutting as there is enough in the collection to keep things interesting. Anyway this one uses papers from the 6″ pad,a sentiment and ric rac from the box,and some punched leaves and flowers from Kaisercraft and Green Tara.Til tomorrow….
Another Mens card
I made this card for an order..I die cut an oval and using the waste part I inked through it onto the base card with green and blue inks. I stamped a stampin up cricket set onto various scraps of cardstock and fussy cut the images, and stuck them onto the base card . I kept it all very simple as that is what my customer wanted, and I really like this one!Back to work this week after my holidays, and taking things very easy with my shoulder! til tomorrow….
Back to Christmas!
This is one of my favourite Christmas cards from this years’ makes. All supplies are from Stampin Up except for the bling, and the paper is a retired collection ( from stampin up) but I liked it so much last year I bought more for this years makes. This card and the next 2 I will show over the next couple of days were made for a village class I did a couple of weeks ago. I am back from my short break away to visit my son and his partner in Sydney, We had a lovely time, and the weather was good,my shoulder is still no good so I am now back off to the Dr to see what else he can do for me,I guess the craft room is still a no-go zone. A quick card..

While I had the Kaisercraft true Romance papers out practising my pleating skills I made a very quick card to pop in the box ready for next year(!),I know but I go where the inspiration leads me..Just two pieces of layered paper , inked around the edges with tea dye ink,a fussy cut flower, and one of the tags that came with the collection.A bow to tie in the colours of the butterfly and bird, and the little doily under the tag and this was a very quick make.I am still nursing my sore shoulder, off to the Dr shortly because it has to be better before I fly over to Sydney at the end of the week to visit my son who works over there!Til tomorrow….
