Today we start a new series, Christmas cards made with Prima Sweet Peppermint.I purchased a few sheets of the 12 x 12 paper, and a bag of the chipboard collectables and for all the cards I made I only added some trim and kindyglitz for texture and sparkle.I edged around all my edges with Tea Dye distress ink as some of the background papers got lost next to each other, and inked edges helps solve that problem. This morning I am off to teach my class at Paper Flourish and I am so looking forward to catching up with everyone! Til tomorow….

Kaisercraft Ooh La La 3..
Straight away I must confess this is not my design..it is the design of my good friend Mandii, who designed it for the Class in a box kit that I bought from Paper Flourish.I don’t usually do the designs suggested in the box, I go off on a tangent and do my own thing, but I fell in love with this one of Mandiis. Everything on the card was in the box, and of course the main item is the gorgeous Kaisercraft Ooh La la papers. This is the last with this paper for now, I have many more waiting to be photographed so we will be returning to it soon, but next up on the blog list is some more Christmas cards, we are getting to the end of them now! Today is my little puppy’s first birthday so i must go and make a fuss of her…til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Ooh La La 2..
My second Kaisercraft Ooh La La cards, still using the papers from the 6″ pad for the background layers – they were the leftover pieces from the first card..and the inner layer is from a sheet of 12 a 12 paper, as is the flower which I fussy cut.kaisercraft pearls, ribbon and a sentiment from the sheet in the class kit from Paper Flourish to finish.I am going to venture into the craft room this morning for an hour, no die cutting, but I will see if I can make at least one simple card ..it’s that or go crazy!! Til tomorrow…..
Kaisecraft Ooh La La..!.
This is the first card I made with kaisercraft Ooh La La paper collection. I love this collection and bought the Paper Flourish Class in a box because it had all the 12 x 12 papers as well as a lot of other bits and pieces that match in with the papers. I also purchased the 6″ pad and another pack of collectables to extend the set.I am so glad I did because it’s the only collection I have been able to use in my craft room while I am not able to use my shoulder. I haven’t needed to do any die cutting as there is enough in the collection to keep things interesting. Anyway this one uses papers from the 6″ pad,a sentiment and ric rac from the box,and some punched leaves and flowers from Kaisercraft and Green Tara.Til tomorrow….
Another Mens card
I made this card for an order..I die cut an oval and using the waste part I inked through it onto the base card with green and blue inks. I stamped a stampin up cricket set onto various scraps of cardstock and fussy cut the images, and stuck them onto the base card . I kept it all very simple as that is what my customer wanted, and I really like this one!Back to work this week after my holidays, and taking things very easy with my shoulder! til tomorrow….

Cuttlebug card 3
I hope all my american friends had a safe and happy Thanksgiving! Todays card uses some very old paper ( I think it’s daisy D’s) which I found in the back of a cupboard whilst looking for something else..and I gave my cuttlebug a workout as well. Here’s the list – Stampin Up – Pink pirouette, crumbcake, and whisper white cardstock, curly cute sentiment, ribbon , brad, and party blossom die.The rest – a circle punch, and spellbinders Picot edge circles and Classic edges 2 edgeabilities. Speaking of which, a couple of posts down I loved a border that I used but couldn’t remember what it was – well there it is – Spellbinders Edgeabilities classic edges 2 die . So glad I rediscovered it, and will be giving it a workout this weekend!I had a lovely morning teaching a class at Paper flourish, and while I was there I bought some Prismacolor pencils so I will be experimenting with them this weekend too, so plenty to keep me busy! Til tomorrow…
