Here are the last two Christmas cards for this year! The top card is made with Stampin Up supplies – Star of light stamp set ( I gold embossed the big swirl stamp),and starlight dies, with gold cord, a couple of gold sequins and a snowflake bling ( from Paper Flourish. The embossing folder is last years release from Stampin up.The bottom card was a bit of an experiment, I cut the front of the card quite drastically, and die cut a couple of circles which I stuck to the right hand side of the base card. You can’t see the bits that i stuck because I covered the back of the base card with some white cardstock ( which I stamped a greeting on). The paper is stampin up, and I punched christmas tres, stuck them on white cardstock and fussy cut out. Til tomorrow…

Kaisercraft Silent night 7.
Todays card is a Christmas card made with kaisercraft Silent Night. I have posted a few cards made with this paper collection a few weeks back and this one missed out for some technical reason!I have used some of the matching collectables, inked around all the edges with Tea dye distress ink,and added a gold cord bow. I only have a few Christmas cards left in the queue so over the next couple of days I will post them and then we will put Christmas makes 2016 behind us! I have been slowly making weding cards with Kaisercraft new paper collection – PS I love you, and discovered when I had finished them that they would be too bulky for envelopes so I have been busy making boxes for them..that will teach me to get carried away with embellishing! Wedding and baby cards are my favourite cards to make – What is your favourite card make? Til tomorrow….
Second village card
This card is the second village card I made with the ladies a couple of weeks ago.The cardstock is Stampin up, and the glitter die cut is a kaisercraft die and kaisercraft gliter card. The Merry Christmas and the pointsetta dies are Kaisercraft.I backed the glitter flourish circle with a plain die cut circle, and scattered a bit of bling. I have ventured into the craft room today, die cutting is out of the question, but the lure of so many new papers that I haven’t been able to play with is too much! I am creating with Kaisercraft Ooh La la, – I bought a class in a box from paper Flouirsh and there are enough bits and pieces in the box that I don’t need to die cut anything so it’s all good. Back to Christmas!
This is one of my favourite Christmas cards from this years’ makes. All supplies are from Stampin Up except for the bling, and the paper is a retired collection ( from stampin up) but I liked it so much last year I bought more for this years makes. This card and the next 2 I will show over the next couple of days were made for a village class I did a couple of weeks ago. I am back from my short break away to visit my son and his partner in Sydney, We had a lovely time, and the weather was good,my shoulder is still no good so I am now back off to the Dr to see what else he can do for me,I guess the craft room is still a no-go zone. Graphic 45 St. Nicholas 3 and 4..
Here are the other two cards I made with Graphic 45 St. Nicholas paper collection. I had to pack that paper away to work on some orders, and I haven’t got back to it yet.On the top card I did something a little different – I used border stickers to frame the main image, while the bottom card has a little bit of fussy cutting. I think we will take a bit of a break from all things christmas next time and have a look at a few other cards I have been making!Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft silent night 5 and 6
The last two Kaisercraft Silent Night collection cards for now. I have done more but they are not photographed yet! The top card has a mixture of paper pad and 12 x 12 sheets, and the bottom card is all 12 x 12 papers. Sop easy to create cards with this collection ,the only addition needed is a couple of ribbon bows and bling for interest and texture.Quick post today as I am off to teach a village lesson, a difficult one today as one of my ladies passed away last week.We will miss Jean. xx
Kaisercraft Christmas wishes 16
On my desk there is a myriad of bits and pieces, leftover from other projects, or die cuts etc given to me by my crafty friends, and I try to use them as they appear but sometimes the pile grows and grows! I am determined to get to the bottom of this pile and see my desk again,so todays card uses one of these bits.It is a die cut, I think it’s a cuttlebug die and embossing folder in one, and I have backed it with some patterned paper from kaisercraft Christmas wishes, and decorated with more fussy cutting from the same range.I survived my week of night shift, (glad it’s only once a year though) and as a reward to myself I popped into Paper Flourish yesterday and bought some new papers. Bo Bunny, Graphic 45 and kaisercraft all featured in my shopping basket! The Kaisercraft Ooh La La especially is worth checking out, I love it! Til tomorrow….
Step it up!
We are back to Kaisercraft Christmas wishes paper collection, and I did something a little different here. The top card is quite simple, with just a little layering ( the gold doily is fussy cut from one of the papers), while on the bottom card I have used exactly the same papers and images but stepped it up a little by adding a little more layering and a lot more trim ( all the trims used here are from Stampin Up)Still working the night shift, and life here is all topsy turvy! One more night to go and then thankfully back to normal! Til tomorrow….
More Happy Reindeers..
Don’t these reindeers make you smile?I used an embossing folder for the background ( stampin Up) and ripped up white cardstock to make the foreground. I added aline of glue across the top of each layer and stuck on loose glitter.Fussy cut reindeers from stampin up home for christmas designer paper, and added die cut leaves and sentiment with kaisercraft dies. A sprinkle of red kaisercraft rhinestones and these which were a joy to make were done! Til tomorrow….
Home for Christmas
