Today we start a new group of cards made with Bo Bunny Butterfly kisses. I love the colours on this paper! The cardstock I used was Stampin up, as was the tea cup die. I punched some flowers, added some liquid pearls and a kaisercraft flower, and a ribbon bow. Today in the craftt room I have finally found some time to sit down andd create with the new safari adventures paper by Graphic 45, I thought it might be perfect for some fathers day cards , which is what the next few weeks is going to be all about! Til tomorrow….
I finished my orders yesterday, and here are two of them, the top card is being posted, so had to stay quite flat. I used Stampin Up botanical blooms dies and stampin up cardstock for this one, and die cut some glitter flourishes, punched a glitter butterfly, and added liquid pearls and sequins. the bottom card was much more textured with lots of flowers, more glitter flourishes, and key and ribbon bow. I am caught up with my orders now, but no crafting today, I am taking Mum out to spend her Mothers day money at Paper Flourish and we will visit spotlight too – we are on the hunt for very very fine paint brushes for dad, I found them on-line but they are very expensive and he goes through so many so we will have a look around locally.Til tomorrow….
A new collection today – made with products from Kaisercraft Rustic harmony collection. The top photo shows two card I made using a dress template ( the skirt is just a semi circle folded to create the pleats)and I added some lace and ribbon. The layered circles are from the 6″ pad and the collectables pack. the bottom card has some punching ( martha stewart leaf punch) and die cutting ( stampin up and spelllbinders flowers dies) ,ribbon, lace and collectables.Another really warm day here, and too hot for the craft room, may have to do some crafty shopping instead! Til tomorrow….
I promised myself I wasn’t going to get hooked on the prima doll stamps by Julie Nutting, but.. oh well whats a girl to do? Although I do colour, I much prefer to use these stamps with gorgeous patterned papers, so the only thing I coloured was the hair. the rest has been stamped onto patterned paper and paper pieced together. the paper I used on this one was Kaisercraft Velvet Crush, and for the skin tones i used an old sheet of websters Pages that I had filed away.most paper collections that are released have one sheet that would be suitable for skin tones, so this plan should work for me all the time!the butterflies are from the sticker sheet that was released with velvet crush, and I added a ribbon bow to finish. I taught a very busy class this morning and was grateful to a very dear friend for her help with a lady new to cardmaking, without her help I would have had a class that severely ran over time!I bought a big bag of goodies after class, and can’t wait to sit down tonight after tea and have a good look at what I picked up. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft velvet crush 12 x 12 papers, and sticker sheet ( great sticker sheet full of butterflies),and stampin up cardstock , sentiment stamp and labels die.I added ribbon and kaisercraft rhinestones and rounder all the right hand corners with my corner rounder.I have made great inroads into making my engagement cards, and used some older papers that I had forgotten about! I will make a few more this afternoon, and then I will start on wedding cards. Til tomorrow…..
Two photos today – the top image is the outside of the card and the second image is the inside. The paper collection is graphic 45 Couture collection, and I haven’t used anything else on this card except for a little Kindyglitz. It’s all fussy cutting and layers. The sentiment inside is stamped with a stampin up sentiment stamp.Still loving this paper! Til tomorrow..
Very quick post tonight as tea is cooking as we speak! This is the last of our Kaisercraft tea Break collection, and here I have used the paper pad . I die cut the shape of the card with a die from Stampin Up – the name escapes me for the moment – I was over at my sisters place and she had it, so I did a fair amount of die cutting with it while I was there!it’s a very effective die and I have made a lot of mens cards with it , which I am sure we will get to at some stage!By then I may know the name of it. A big box arrivced in the post today, so after tea I will have great enjoyment going through it all – I bought a lucky dip from Prima so it’s filled with lots of papers, flowers and assorted embellishments… ah bliss…. Til tomorrow….
All I have used here is a small amount of patterned paper from the kaisercraft butterfly kisses paper pad, and one of the tags from the same pad.It is the layering on this card that adds interest and this is one of my favourite sketch ideas. I rounded the corners on the right hand side of all the layers, and added ribbon and rhinestones to finish. The card base is stampin up cardstock, and the other plain layer is Kaisercard.looking forward to 3 days off and some time spent in the card room this weekend setting up classes for February! til tomorrow….
This is the final Kaisercraft True Romance( I think) and tomorrow we will move on to something else… Here I have used a piece of paper from the 6″ paper pad on my base, and fussy cut a couple of pieces from some of the 12 x 12 papers. I used some of the matching collectables, and a ribbon bow and sentiment stamp to finish. A very busy class this morning, and back to work to face the christmas rush shoppers tomorrow.. til tomorrow…
