mens cards made easy….

IMG_8706 (Medium)While on my cleaning up journey I stumbled upon a great amount of Kaisercraft Sears and Son papers, and packets of collectables, so of course had to sit and make a few mens cards – so easy with this paper. So easy in fact that there are a huge amount of photos of cards made with this paper collection to show , so I will break into groups over the next few weeks!this paper is still available, and perfect to stock up on for those tricky male cards1All I have used are the aforementioned papers and collectables, and a couple of odd brads I had lying around for these two cards. It is a super early post today, as I am teaching this afternoon ( third class this week!) and when I get home I want to head straight into the craft room as I have a few ideas buzzing around that i want to get down on cardstock! Til tomorrow….

stampin up Country side number 5

IMG_7230 (Medium)For my fifth card in my Stampin Up countryside Series I used 2 of the stamps in the set, and stamped them with early Espresso ink. The card base is choc chip cardstock, and I also used crumbcake, very vanilla and close to cocoa( retired colour) all from Stampin Up. I used my woodgrain embossing folder, again inking it up before I embossed, to get that lovely shaded effect. A little linen thread, and this one was done! I have been making some boxes for my cards this afternoon, so now it’s off into the craft room to make some cards to put in them ! Til tomorrow….

Another fathers day card

I saw a card simialr to this while I was blog hopping, and thought I could repeat it with the supplies i had on hand, and this is what i came up with. I used Stampin Up cardstock – crumbcake,Very vanilla, early espresso and Cherry cobbler and the boat stamp is from Stampin Up the Open Sea stamp set.I used an embossing folder which i can’t recall the brand name of and my circle nestabilities. For around the port hole I dotted platinum liquid pearls, and my stamp pad of choice was stampin up choc chip. Another day spent planning lessons, nearly done now! Til tomorrow…

Amy tangerine sketchbook 2

In keeping with my personal challenge of trying to make a male card from each product collection I purchase, I made this card with my american crafts Amy Tangerine Sketchbook papers. No mean feat when the papers are so bright and girly! I die cut some banners using my spellbinders Lacy pennant die, and the label was die cut using spellbinders Labels fourteen. I stamped the sentiment with stampin Up Perfectly Penned, and layered it all on Stampin Up Crumbcake cardstock. I just cut strips of different paper for the base – another good way to use up scraps! One more day at the craft fair, then quite a few weeks refilling by boxes! Til tomorrow….
