Kaisercraft Yuletide 2

IMG_3166 (Medium)Kaisercraft yuletide collection, using the 12 x 12 papers, and concentrating on the cream /gold colour combination, which makes a nice change from the green/red combo.I also used the matching collectables, and some ribbon and lace for these ones.I am off to mums this afternoon, taking lots of bits with me and I am going to make a huge push to finish the order for 50 xmas cards. Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Yuletide number 1

IMG_3162 (Medium)IMG_3163 (Medium)Today is the start of the Kaisercraft yuletide collection, and there is a lot in this series so we may break it up a bit. To start us off , a group of cards,. all done to the same design sketch and using one sheet of images and another of background paper. The holly was fussy cut from a sheet out of the 6″ pad,and I added a ribbon bow on each card. The bottom image is a close up of the design.Great paper for a marathon xmas card session. I had a lovely class today, very relaxing with my ladies. Til tomorrow….

Spellbinders Heirloom reflection dies

IMG_3176 (Medium)I shared my christmas stamp buy the other day, and this set of dies ( spellbinders Heirloom reflections) are my christmas die but for this year. Lots of different ways to use them so I am sure I will get my moneys worth! For these cards I used the plain dies for the base of the baubles and used some patterned foil paper from kaisercraft yuletide collection for the more intricate cuts on top.All the paper used here was from kaisercrafts yuletide collection.I added ribbon ,bows, and some sequins – I am liking sequins just now, and have to find some more – I feel a trend coming on!Til tomorrow….

New Kaisercraft Feather die

IMG_3228 (Medium)A little break from all things Christmas today. I recently had the pleasure of roadtesting some new Kaisercraft dies for my local craft shop – Paper flourish, and one of the dies is featured here on todays card. I was most impressed with the quality of the dies, and particularly liked the way they fell off the die without very much persuasion at all! Here I have used it as it was intended – just die cut a couple of feathers and inked around the edges. On other cards I used the negative cut to sponge through onto my paper( which worked brilliantly) and ran other feathers through the die cutting machine in an embossing folder which also worked a treat, so lots of use from this die!The bird stamp on this card is by oxford impressions, and the flower is Prima. sentiment stamp, ribbon and linen thread are all from stampin up. til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft garage days 4 and 5

IMG_8541 (Medium)IMG_8543 (Medium)I went deep into the blog archives to see what cards I had previously posted using this paper ( kaisercraft garage days) only to find that I had only posted a couple before now. This is terrible – it means somewhere in that craft room there is a lot of paper for men that has not been utilised. This is an oversight that will have to be remedied – maybe this weekend!I have a class to prepare, and more christmas cards to make, but I am sure I can fit in some mens makes somehow!Todays cards are a little dark – I think the shiny properties of the top card played havoc witgh nathans camera, but hopefully you get the idea. The stamps for the tools are from Stampin up – old ones I think called Totally tool. These are great for mens cards and you may still be able to get them on e-bay .Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Garage Days

IMG_8540 (Medium)I had to do some mens cards this month,so the first paper I reached for was Kaisercraft Garage Days, although I don’t have a great deal of choice –  mens themed  paper seems to be the hardest to find.here I have combined it with some tool stamps which I got a few years ago from Stampin Up so I am not sure if they are still available.I have also used a few of the matching collectables, and stampin up cardstock. Must run – work is calling…til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft mint twist continued

IMG_8549 (Medium)IMG_8550 (Medium)IMG_8551 (Medium)Here are a few more quick christmas cards made with the collectables from Kaisercraft Mint twist. White cardstock, some foam pads and these ones are done! I am popping down to Paper flourish tonight to pick up some of the new Kaisercraft dies and papers, which I am road testing for the Paper Flourish blog next week – can’t wait to see what Tracey has picked out for me to play with! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses .. the last..

IMG_8481 (Medium)IMG_8482 (Medium)Here are the last two cards I made in my kaisercraft butterfly kisses collection. I also used the collectables and chipboard pieces from the same collection. The sentiments are stampin up stamps, and the cardstock here is Bazil.I had big plans today to start moving my huge library of books into the large room vacated by my younger son when he moved into his own place,I have already claimed some of it for the craft room annex, but anyway,.. I got sidetracked. well, didn’t even get started because I had a card laid out ready to stick down, and then more ideas came and before I knew it most of the day had disappeared and I have a lovely pile of cards made with my new Prima forever green paper which nathan and I will photo this week so that I can start posting them!Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft butterfly kisses .. a couple more…

IMG_8479 (Medium)IMG_8480 (Medium)A couple more cards made with Kaisercraft Butterfly Kisses, and suitable for younger girls. The top card has a sentiment stamped on it using Stampin Up Curly cute stamps, and some little flags punched out with a tiny punch I found on special!(great way to use up tiny scraps). I made some bigger banners ( again more scraps) for the second card. All other embellishments were from the matching collectables. Til tomorrow….

Some more Butterfly Kisses…

IMG_8475 (Medium)IMG_8478 (Medium)Welcome to my new followers, hope you enjoy my creations and they inspire you just a little! Some more kaisercraft butterfly Kisses cards to brighten our day!Again using the paper and chipboard pieces from the collection. The butterflies were fussy cut from one of the papers, and I used some kaisercard for the matting. A lovely relaxing day off today, and I was enjoying some time in the craft room just playimng around with some techniques and new prima papers when the power went off.I like a lot of light when crafting, and have changed the light in the craft room to a strip flourescent light as that gives me the best natural seeming light, so when the power went out that was the end of the crafty session, but the power is back on now so I am off to finish what I have started! til tomorrow….
