I love this collection, and the class I am teaching this week uses this paper too! This card has papers from the 6″ pad, and matching collectables on it. I have added some flowers, ribbon and lace ( I picked this lace up in an op shop in a country town close to Adelaide)Just a quick post today as I must go and organise tea, til tomorrow….

more mothers day cards – Kaisercraft Cottage Rose..
Another Mothers day card, this time using kaisercrafts new release paper Cottage Rose. This is my kind of paper, and for this gatefold card I have used the 6″ pad. The panel on the front is from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper, and I have used Prima flowers to decorate. I have included 2 photos so that you can see ( sort of) how I decorated the inside panel as well. All the little leaves and twiggy branches were die cut with a great new die from kaisercraft – I love it, and all my scrap green papers are now die cut with it and stored in a container on my desk so that I always have foilage at my fingertips! Today is Village lesson day, so I must head to the craft room to get all my gear together, and remind myself what we are making- tomorrow I will post pictures of the cards the ladies created.Til tomorrow….
Mothers day, prima tales of you and me
Prima Tales of you and me paper collection and matching die cuts, with some gorgeous prima flowers, and some recycled beading and lace. The birdcage is by kaisercraft and I found it in the bottom drawer of my craft room – a drawer I don’t go into very often but will be sorting out soon to see if there are any more fantastic finds like this one, in there! I inked over the birdcage with tea dye distress ink, and I made my card a DL size ( that’s a 21 x 21 piece of cardstock folded in half and fits into a DL envelope – the size envelope that you don’t like to see in your letterbox cos it’s usually a bill!) to accomodate the tallness of the birdcage! A day off today, shopping done, and i am off to Paper Flourish to seek out new papers! Til tomorrow…..
Prima tales of you and me 1 and 2 Mothers day
The next few cards are Mothers day cards, and I took the photos with my little point and shoot, as Nathan was busy and I needed to get them into my for sale boxes, so the quality may not be up to Nathans standard!I love this new paper range by Prima ( tales of you and me) and I really enjoyed digging through my lace, ribbon and bling, and also did a lot of die cutting. The top card has a kaisercraft die, and the bottom has a memory box fence and gate, and a couture creations lamp post.I die cut a branch in glitter cardstock,I think that one was a kaisercraft die. A bit of fussy cutting, some small flowers, silver thread and a charm.Quick post today as it is back to work for me! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Ma Cherie 5 and 6…
Two cards today, both with the same decoration, but one done portrait style, and one done landscape style. Background papers are from the Kaisercraft Ma Cherie 6″ pad. The interesting thing about these two cards …On yesterdays card when I die cut the printed sentiment from the 12 x 12 paper I was left with a spotted frame with a hole in the middle, so for todays’ cards I die cut a circle from more patterned paper to fit the hole, rounded the corner with a fancy corner punch from Stampin Up, and used that to create my focal point – I just had to add a fussy cut butterfly ( this collection has a whole sheet of gorgeous butterflies on it to fussy cut!), some liquid pearls on the top card and gorgeous rose trim on the bottom card. After spending my crafting time this week making mens cards I am ready to break out the lace, flowers, ribbons, pearls and create some vintage cards with my new Prima papers – can not wait!! but first Nathan and I have to go and photograph aforementioned mens cards. til tomorrow……
Prima Sun Kiss 2 and 3..
Still with Prima Sun Kiss papers and matching chipboards, these ones are Mothers day cards.I have added lace and ribbon, and the swirly blingy bit is from prima, and I cut it into pieces and I have used it on a few cards,so although not the cheapest item I have ever bought, quite good value when you can use it on four or five cards!I hope you all are having a nice relaxing Easter , stay safe, Til tomorrow….
Prima Sunkiss 1.
This is an old paper collection from Prima. I found it in my shelves and thought I would make a few last cards with it before putting it on the for sale pile! This card makes use of the matching chipboard pieces, a punched butterfly and some ribbon and bling.I spent a lovely afternoon yesterday in the craft room preparing may lessons ( I know.. May already!)and will head back there in a minute to finish them. The retirement village lessons take a little longer as some of my ladies are a bit too shakey for the stamping, or not strong enough for the cuttlebug so I have to work out how many ladies I am stamping for, and how many ladies I am die cutting for and prepare that beforehand. It’s all worth it though, just to get together with a lovely, enthusiastic, funny group of ladies who always supply lovely homemade goodies for afternoon tea! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 A place in time 11 and 12
I have titled these ones A place in time., but I am a bit torn – they could be from graphic 45 Time to celebrate…either way they are graphic 45 papers,my favourite paper company and I love working with any of their paper. Just a little layering and ribbon and lace for these 2 easy cards.Today has been a lovely relaxing day in the craft room, doing an order or two, and making some male cards for all the male birthdays coming up in our family, and in between a few cards ready for the fair boxes. I haven’t settled on one thing – just moved from paper collection and stamp set as the fancy took me- not a way I usually work, but fun just the same. I hope you are all enjoying your Easter break, til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Tea party number 9 And 10
This week a quick re visit of a few favourite paper collections. This one is Kaisercraft Tea Party. Here is the last for now of my Kaisercraft Velvet Crush series. I have really enjoyed working with this paper, the colours are great and so striking with black and white accents.
