kaisercraft Great Southern land, the rest..

IMG_8545 (Medium)IMG_8546 (Medium)Here are the last 4 cards I made with Kaisercraft Great Southern land papers and collectables. All the remaining bits and pieces are in a bag with some other bits and pieces ready for the craft fair.Speaking of which, I have spent this morning sorting out the boxes, and making a list of cards I need to concentrate on over the next few weeks. Nathan and I also spent some time photoing a lot of cards ready for this blog, so although no crafting today, lots of necessary sorting out has been done!Til tomorrow….

This is a series of paper from kaisercraft called Great Southern Land, and the matching collectables. No other embellishing required for these ones! This afternoon has been spent in the craft room preparing an order that came through last night, and I am about to head back there to finish the 8 cards required. Til tomorrow….

Butterfly basics stampin Up stamp set

IMG_8565 (Medium)In the spirit of sharing everything  I have posted this one – although even I will admit it is a bit too busy! if I repeated this one the big die cut butterfly ( spellbinders die) would be die cut from plain cardstock instead of patterned paper.I stamped greenery all over the card except in the middle where I stamped the sentiment, and stamped and punched out the little butterflies in a variety of coloured inks. sequins and beads on the big butterfly, this one is a keeper not a seller!I will decorate a frame and hang it in my craft room because I love the deep and meaningful sentiment. til tomorrow…

A bit of stamping…

IMG_8562 (Medium)IMG_8564 (Medium)For a bit of a change, today i am posting a couple of stamped cards, using some recent purchases from Stampin Up. Top card…Stampin Up background papers, and a great new stamp set called Butterfly Basics – lots of different stamps in this set , some great for background work, which I stamped in yellow, stamped the butterfly in pink and punched it out with a matching butterfly punch ( which I have had for a while)and coloured the flower with prismacolour pencils.Bit of lace, ribbon and bling finished that one. The second card… I used  a big background stamp from stampin up called Something lacy, stamped some green fronds from Butterfly Basics, and again coloured the flower with prismacolour pencils.stamped and fussy cut the butterfly, added some buttons to the top corner, lace and a border punched with my Martha stewart lace border punch.Must find some time to play a bit more with this set – its so versatile! no crafting so far today, but I will spend an hour or two in the craft room tonight after tea just to wind down after a really busy week! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Pop! 3 and 4..

IMG_8568 (Medium)IMG_8570 (Medium)More kaisercraft Pop! paper, There is a great sheet in this collection, full of words, so I have used it to cut out relevant greetings on these cards. A little bit of matting, and that’s all that’s needed on these clean and simple cards! til tomorrow……

Kaisercraft Pop! number 1 and 2

IMG_8566 (Medium)IMG_8567 (Medium)I have made so many cards with this paper (Kaisercraft Pop!) , I have taught a class using it, and I have even done a video blog post (Upcoming) for Paper flourish using it, so I can’t believe I haven’t put any up here on my own blog!these cards are totally self explanatory and only use the papers, and some plain cardstock for matting. The bottom card banners are from the matching sticker sheet.Must goa andf prepare for work…til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Time to Flourish 12 and 13 April….

IMG_0855 (Medium)two quick cards today made with graphic 45 Time to flourish april sheets. On the left, a lot of fussy cutting ( this is more than likely going to be Mums Mothers day card as she loves daffodils) and on the right a very quick and easy easter card., with a little nit of fussy cutting stuck around the image for a bit of interest!we are having power cuts on and off today, luckily we have been warned, but every time the power comes back on there is a mad rush to the computer! it’s amazing how reliant we have become on technology! Til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Betsys Couture 9 and 10…the last…

IMG_0882 (Medium)IMG_0873 (Medium)Here are the last two cards I made with kaisercraft betsy’s couture. I hope you have enjoyed seeing them as much as I enjoyed making them! The top card follows the same sketch as previous cards, but with the bottom card I wanted to try a little experiment using texture paste – I wanted to see if it made the card too heavy. I used a light texture paste, and I had no problems with the card standing so will be using this technique more often !After applying the paste through a stencil and letting it dry i wiped over  the paste with Antique linen distress ink pad, added some die cuts, ribbon , lace, and flowers.for now its off to work i go, til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Bestys couture 7 and 8 mens cards….

IMG_0869 (Medium)IMG_0871 (Medium)Today I have managed to pull myself away from the craft room, where I have been on a creative roll, to post these two mens card ideas using Kaisercraft betsys couture papers, and a stampin up stamp set – guy greetings. I added some hessian and a button for some texture. Always like it when I can make a mens card out of a predominately feminine paper collection! For now it’s back to the craft room! til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Betsys couture number 4..vintage

IMG_0879 (Medium)For this card made with kaisercraft betsys Couture collection i used the 6″pad, and the sticker sheet. other kaisercraft products were the Ornate frame die, and the flourish die.I made a rolled flower, punched a couple of leaves and added liquid pearls and a ribbon bow. Quick post this afternoon as I am off to take my husband to the hospital where he will have his operation on both knees… I think he will try anything to get out of the kitchen renovations that are happening here at the moment! til tomorrow….
