Here is the simplest card I have made in quite some time! White cardstock, a Stampin Up 3D embossing folder ( so gorgeous) a length of ribbon, lace , 3 little flowers and some pearl bling. This card would be perfect for a wedding card that had to be posted, but I think I will give it to my mum for Mothers day. Sorry for the late post this weekend, but I got completely sidetracked cleaning out my crafting supplies – it was time for a spring clean and I haven’t even scratched the surface yet. I have a little bubble of an idea forming for making card kits, but will have to pop it on the back burner until after the June fair. I will keep you all posted! Til next time….

Glitter card and die cutting…
I was going to put up two cards today as I will probably be missing for a few days as it’s the craft fair this weekend and I will be there with my stall for three days, but this card has a few different techniques on it to explain…Firstly, layers of white, the top layer embossed with a stampin up embossing folder.I die cut the bride and groom from glitter cardstock, die cut the fancy border with a kaisercraft die, also in white, as was the die cut circle) The chipboard heart was foiled with my go press and foil machine, and a little flat backed pearl popped onto it, I made the flower spray by creating the bunch and twisting the stems together. The leaf spray was die cut and I added a white ribbon. Although it looks like I spent quite some time creating the card all these bits and pieces were already on my craft table from other projects so it took no time at all and it is one of my favourite cards! Happy Anniversary!
Today is Mum and dads 62nd wedding anniversary and the whole family is getting together to celebrate, so I thought it was fitting to post this card I made with Mambi happy 12 x 12 paper pad. I die cut the hearts from more paper of the same range, die cut some white greenery(!) with a seven paper dolls die, added a kaisercraft wooden piece that I had foiled with the go press and foil, and some flowers, rhinestones and ribbon bow to finish. I hope you are all having a happy and safe Easter. Til tomorrow…..
Wedding Card…
Todays card is a wedding card which is a little different for me because I relied less on the papers( I just used a little Kaisercraft Romantique..the label for the sentiment and the gold embossed strip across the centre of the card) and I made my own background paper. I used Nuvo Gold glitter paste and brushed it through a kaisercraft stencil. This is so easy to do, and dries really quickly..so quickly that I suggest you wash your stencil straight away! I added some delicate ribbon and some gorgeous flowers from Iamroses. I brushed them with a little of the gold glitter paste. The sentiment is a Stampin Up stamp which I gold embossed. I have finally finished preparing my lessons for April, and today I hope to sit in the craft room and make some birthday cards I need for family and friends upcoming birthdays. It is finally cooler here ..not sure for how long but i am going to enjoy it while I can! Til tomorrow….
My Minds Eye In Bloom cards….
I am sorry I have been missing all week, but it has been horrendously hot here this week, and all any of us can do is find the coolest spot and just stay there! They tell us we have had a cool change, but it is 35C today, and that is still hot in my book!Anyway enough of that and on to today’s cards…These ones are made with papers from the My Minds Eye In Bloom collection, 12 x 12 papers, and /or the 6′ paper pad from the same collection. The papers are so gorgeous the cards really didn’t need any more embellishments. I loved this collection so much I actually framed one of the 12 x 12 pieces and hung it in my hallway! Heat or not today i amd definitely going into the craft room for some craft time!Til tomorrow…..
My Minds Eye In Bloom.
A natural progression from yesterdays card where I had used My Minds Eye In Bloom patterned paper as the background layer is today’s card which uses all My Minds Eye In Bloom paper. I die cut a gold foil heart, and added black lace and gold ribbon. Everything else is from the paper collection. Yesterday was very productive day in the craft room. I planned out my march classes, and started to experiment with some irridescent medium and stencils to make my own background layers that have a bit of a sheen. This is a work in progress but will share when i have something to show you! Floral sprays and a box..
Another example of my handmade floral spray used on a card. The papers are Kaisercraft PS I love you,and the die is paper rose Ornate circle . I used a collectable doily ( from the paper collection) under the circle. This card could be used for wedding, engagement or anniversary..or even Valentines day!Quick post today as it’s awfully hot sitting here at the computer, I am going to find a nice spot under an airconditioning vent to sit and read a good book! til tomorrow….
My Minds eye fancy That 5 and 6 wedding…
Here are the last two cards i made with My Minds eye Fancy that ( for now anyway!)My favourite is the bottom one, the paper is foiled, and I fussy cut some bunting and a gold heart, and added some of that beautiful gold twine and sequins . I have managed to spend a bit more time in the craft room, before I have to stop and elevate my leg, so I am feeling much happier! til tomorrow….
My Minds eye fancy that 4 wedding..
Today we are back to My Minds Eye Fancy That collection, this wedding card also using the matching journalling cards. I fussy cut the heart and arrow out of cards I didn’t want to use.The rest is just layering, and I used a corner punch from stampin up to cut the fancy corners.Today is a very muggy humid day here in Adelaide, and I have made plans to meet a friend for lunch – my first outing since my knee op, I am looking forward to getting out and about!Til tomorrow…
My minds eye fancy that number 3…wedding..
This one is a favourite because I got to use so much lace ! I wrapped it around the dress image I had fussy cut from a piece of the patterned paper ( my minds eye fancy that),and also fussy cut the mans suit as well. I am back in the craft room, just for short visits, but it’s amazing how much better I feel when i have been in there! til tomorrow…..
