Tonight I thought I would show you my first attempt at brayering. This is a technique I am still practising, and will be for some time! The cardstock is Stampin Up Pumpkin Pie, Inks are Stampin up Cameo Coral and Yoyo yellow, Stamp is Stampin up Bird on a branch, and the greeting is a new one from Kaisercraft from the After 5 range. I do love the brayering technique,I think though that I need to attend a class or two!Back to xmas cards tonight, the back is improving,and I can finally sit down. Til tomorrow….

Hi rachael, thank you for visiting me . They way I got the reed effect was quite interesting – I just used the edge of my black ink pad and sort of swiped it over the paper – practise on some scrap first, but it is easy, and it does give a good effect.
Great ill give it a go! I tried it with a sponge but it really didn’t look great. Thanks for responding. Keep up the good work!
