Todays card is number 4 in my These days kaisercraft series. I have combined the 6″ paper pad with the matching collectables, and added some lace, flowers, and used martha stewarts fern punch and a border punch. The cameo was stamped with a stamp from Oxford Impressions jane Austen set. I had a lovely morning with my group of ladies at paper Flourish – we had a great lesson today. I have tomorrow off work, and the rest of my family are tied up all weekend with putting on a couple of wrestling shows for the fringe, so the weekend stretches peacefully in front of me with lots of time for crafting with all my new purchases! Bliss…. Til tomorrow…

Farewell to English rose
In keeping with my new years resolution to use up some of the paper collections I have accumulated I took out this one – Kaisercraft English Rose, which was released last year before Mothers day. I had made a lot of cards with this paper at the time, it has been a favourite, but it was time to use up the little bits that were left. Who knew I would get so many more cards out of the scraps! I have used various dies, ribbon, cardstock, lace, flowers and bling and still had bits left so I took the leftovers to the Village ladies for them to use on their Mothers day cards for the troops. This photo took Nathan and I half an hour to take, the light wasn’t good, and the cards kept falling. I was up on a chair holding the backdrop and had no control over it so its not as good as nathan likes but I gave up! Today is an exciting day in my blog world because at some stage this afternoon someone is going to be my 30,000th visitor. That number has made me stop and think about all things bloggy! In the past 18 months since I started my blog I think my cardmaking has come a long way, and I have learnt lots of new techniques thanks to the many lovely friends I have made in the crafting world. I have started teaching in that 18 months as well, and some of my students are also my blog followers and my friends. I have developed e -mail friendships with lovely ladies around the world, and I love hearing how life is in other countries.Of course Nathan has been with me all the way as my techie support and my photographer. We have taken close to 600 photos of my cards – to the point that the budgie makes the click of the camera as soon as she sees Nathan coming with it! Would I stop blogging – No Way – it’s like a crafting diary that I just happen to be sharing with as many people as want to see it and I am so appreciative that you all do ! This is a very long post today – I better go or else I will have no time for card making today! Til tomorrow….
Hummingbird 2…
Here is card number 2 using kaisercraft Hummingbird papers and matching collectables. The Greeting stamp is from Stampin Up, and I added a little lace and liquid pearls.A quick post tonight as i have to do some grocery shopping, and get organised for my Paper flourish class tomorrow… Time flies, it just seems like yesterday that i was donig last months class.. Til tomorrow…
A different stamping techinique…
Todays card uses the lovely soft pastel papers from Melissa francis, and a couple of Martha stewart punches, flowers and lace. but the reason I put it up today was to show a stamping technique I used on it. I love the poem on this card, but it looked a bit plain when it was put together, so I stamped a tree ( from lovely as a tree – Stampin up) in versamark, and brushed some perfect pearls over the top. It gives a holographic effect – at some angles you can see the tree, and at other angles you can read the poem. This will possibly be mums Mothers day card, just because I love the the poem and I’m sure she will too. I am awaiting arrival of my second most amazing shelving unit so will be busy tonight filling it with papers! Til tomorrow….
Blossom party
A later post for me tonight as I have been out crafting with friends, and time just ran away, so here I am while tea ( late) is cooking…. I have done this card before in pinks, and I wanted to try a different colourway, and I like it! I have used – all stampin up cardstock – wisteria wonder, concord crush, and certainly celery. The die for the flowers is Sizzix stampin up Blossom Party, I punched the leaves with my stampin up bird punch, and I have used a Stampin Up vintage brad in the main flower and kaisercraft sparklet on the smaller ones.I think I might work my way through all my colourde cardstock making variations of this one as it’s so simple and looks effective. Welcome to my new subscriber, and til tomorrow…..
Lil Primrose 4
This is the final card in my Lil Primrose series ( for now – I will make more with this paper at a later time…) and I used the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables from the same kaisercraft range. I added a little ribbon and some lovely lace at the edge of this one. Where has today gone? I spent over three hours sorting out my market boxes for this Sunday, and the time just disappeared! I am going to spend the rest of the afternoon in the craft room, it is still hot here in Adelaide, but I can only stay away from that room for so long! Nathan and I spent some time this morning taking photos of cards so will have some different ones to show over the next couple of weeks… Til tomorrow…
Powerful Mother!
Todays card is another Mothers day card – thats all I seem to be making just now! I used Prima Sparkling springtime patterned papers, and a prima pebble, and a kaisercraft rub-on. The cardstock today was Bazzil and a bit of kindyglitz finished it off. I hope you are all enjoying your Easter break and enjoying lots of crafting! Til tomorrow…..
A special Mothers day card
Todays card is a special one I made for my mum for her birthday this month, but it could also be done for Mothers Day. I used My minds eye ‘lush’ pack for the paper which is flocked, and the ribbon, Black stampin Up cardstock, kaisercraft bling and rub on, and Bo bunny Gabrielle brads for the butterfly. Tonight I will be packing my bag ready for my lesson tomorrow at Paper Flourish. It’s always exciting going into that shop to see all the new bits and pieces! Til tomorrow…..
