Prima A Victorian Christmas…

IMG_7238 (Medium)IMG_7239 (Medium)Back to christmas cards, and these are my favourite cards to create – vintage. it means I can get out my lace and distress inks! I bought just a few sheets of Prima A Victorian Christmas, and I have extended that by using some scraps of last years kaisercraft christmas collections,as you can see on the top two cards. The rest is just layering, I have gone for red and brown, and adding some ribbon and lace to finish. til tomorrow….

Simple Stories claus & Co 1,2,3,4…

IMG_2953 (Medium)IMG_2954 (Medium)I do like it when I see anew Simple stories collection on the shelves – i will buy one sheet of all of it and when I get it home I can sit down and make 2 dozen cards in one sitting. The papers this company release fit my style exactly. So this is their Christmas release and I bought the matching pack of washi tape style trim as well. The only things I added were some scalloped die cut circles ( from glitter card) and ribbon and a tiny bit of bling. My back is so much better today. It must have been the walking I did yesterday with my sister when we went on our day trip to Mannum to wander in and out of the shops in that country town.I am off now to the craft room to work on some January lessons … I know next year classes already! til tomorrow…..

The other 3 kaszazz christmas cards

IMG_2882 (Medium)IMG_2883 (Medium)IMG_2884 (Medium)Here are the other 3 cards I made with a sheet of  Kaszazz christmas images. again I used whatever was at hand, which also included a bit of kaisercraft bits and bobs , I realise as I look at them now…I am enjoying my holidays, have done a little spring cleaning, a lot of relaxing and have spent a little time in the craft room too. I have made a few wedding cards, for a change but I am back to Christmas – I keep threatening to pack all the christmas  stuff away, but then ideas and inspiration strike so I will keep it out for a little while longer. Til tomorrow…..

Kaszazz vintage christmas paper

IMG_2879 (Medium)IMG_2880 (Medium)IMG_2881 (Medium)I am procrastinating today, I have been preparing a December lesson, but something is not going my way, so I have taken a break, and hopefully when I return to the craft room all will fall into place! Todays cards ( and rtomorrow too) are all made from a sheet of vitage images that I purchased from Kaszazz. I really made these ones with whatever was laying on my table, so bits of die cuts, flowers, lace, ribbon bling and punched leaves, scraps of paper. a great way to clear my table, and I like the vintage feel to these ones. Til tomorrow….

The last 2 Graphic 45 a ladies diary cards

IMG_5168 (Medium)Here are the last two cards made with graphic 45 A ladies Diary with a bit of baby to bride and le romantique mixed in there too I think. I have done these last two as double easel cards – my favourite card shape when using graphic 45 paper, and the best bit is they fold down flat to fit in a normal c6 envelope.some fussy cutting, chipboard pieces, lace and ribbon, and that’s most of this fabulous paper used!early morning starts again this week, so I am going now to have a bit of a nanna nap! til tomorrow….

graphic 45 A ladies diary revisited!! numbers 15 and 16

IMG_5151 (Medium)IMG_5163 (Medium)A couple of weeks ago I came across some graphic 45 papers in the craft room, predominately A ladies Diary, but I have mixed it with le romantique, and Baby to Bride. The top card is an easel card ( stampin up cardstock) and all A ladies diary, paper, a chipboard piece, and lace and ribbon. the bottom card has a bit of Le Romantique as the background mat,a stampin up vintage brad, some fussy cutting and lace. I think this is still my favourite paper collection!Life here has been so busy, but the roast lunch is in the oven, and I am off to the craft room to make up an order and create for the rest of the afternoon, just to de-stress!Til tomorrow…..

kaisercraft secret garden 9 and 10

IMG_2435 (Medium)IMG_2436 (Medium)Kaisercrat secret garden. The top card has a piece 0f the 6″ pad as the background, and a piece from one of the 12 x 12 card fronts  trimmed down. I used a kaisercraft mannequin die and hand cut a dress from a piece of the 6″ pad.Added a collectable and some sequins to finish this one. For the bottom card – so simple – a piece of the 6″ pad and a collectable is all this one needed!punched butterfly, and sentiment and done. Freezing day here today, far too cold in the craft room,  so after a visit to Mum and dad’s this afternoon, it will be tea in front of the heater and Tv! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft secret garden 7 and 8

IMG_2433 (Medium)IMG_2434 (Medium)I have taken a short break from the craft room, where I am planning out August/september lessons, to post a couple of new cards. We are back to my Kaisercraft secret garden series, and for both of these cards I have used lots of lovely lace and ribbon, along with some dies , mainly kaisercraft – they are my new favourite brand of die as they cut through so easily, and both cards use paper from the 6″ pad.Of course I have also used the matching collectables.it’s very cold here today – I am not sure we have even reached double digits, so I don’t know how much longer I will be in the craft room before I retire to the seat closest to the heater!Til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Betsys Couture 9 and 10…the last…

IMG_0882 (Medium)IMG_0873 (Medium)Here are the last two cards I made with kaisercraft betsy’s couture. I hope you have enjoyed seeing them as much as I enjoyed making them! The top card follows the same sketch as previous cards, but with the bottom card I wanted to try a little experiment using texture paste – I wanted to see if it made the card too heavy. I used a light texture paste, and I had no problems with the card standing so will be using this technique more often !After applying the paste through a stencil and letting it dry i wiped over  the paste with Antique linen distress ink pad, added some die cuts, ribbon , lace, and flowers.for now its off to work i go, til tomorrow….
